Attentive service, food came very quickly, and the ambiance was classy but relaxed at the same time. My friend and I had the early evening menu which was great value (£12.95 for 3 courses). The roast pork belly was absolutely delicious!
Been to this restaurant a couple of times before due to its fantastic location and good food. This time the food was good as usual but the service was abysmal. My friends arrived first and they had to ask for the drinks menu then had to ask again to order. Initially we were served food quickly but then had to get up twice to go and get a member of waiting staff. Empty wine bottle was just removed without asking if we wanted another one. Had to ask again for dessert menu. Then waited and had to ask twice to get the bill which meant one of our party missed their train! When we said we were not paying the service charge there was no apology and they seemed totally unconcerned. Will not be going back.
Great views amazing service the menu has loads of choice and the staff are knowledgable there's some great offers If required great outdoor space - thanks
Second visit this time for lunch. Yet again great friendly attentive staff, well prepared mains and a great dessert. High recommend Côte for a great dining experience
The food was tasty and good value. We had a relaxing evening with good service and we're not hassled to order our dishes. Nice location
You can't book a table outside, but they managed to get us one within ten minutes of arriving. Excellent location with good food and service.
The foid was great but felt ignored by the recption and the waiter fid not listen to our order properly. First time not given top marks for service. Sorry
Service, staff, value for money, food all great. Just very noisy ambience so hard to hear yourself speak! Fun place but not for a serious conversation.
Chewy steak and a very poor and horribly overpriced wine. Standard of service (mainly attitude) wasn't that great either. Maybe it was just a one-off bad night but will probably think twice about visiting a Cote restaurant again.
Had a delicious asparagus and goats cheese risotto today. My friend had a chicken salad which she said was very good. Staff excellent although probably too attentive!
Previously we had eaten outside on the terrace but as it was raining like mad we instead ate in a pleasant small room off the main area. Service was as friendly and efficient as normal and the food generally good. Their early evening menu is excellent value. It was also peasant to have NO PIPED MUSIC in our area.
Food was good - beautifully presented. Staff were courteous, friendly and professional. We had a seat outside by the river overlooking the Thames. I would recommend it
Excellent service by the waiter who served us who was attentive throughout the night but not intrusive, delicious food for the set meals we ordered. great night! Thanks!
My favourite Cote Restaurant by The Thames. Food, as ever, delicious and staff very friendly and efficient. Sadly, the toilet is in need of refurbishment.
See my entry on Trip Adviser. It was very enjoyable and we will revisit The staff were great, the food as ever tasty Loved it
Excellent location. Warm welcome from waiting staff, shown straight to our table. We were informed about the specials and a drinks order was taken quickly. Our food was excellent. The service remained quick and attentive throughout. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant as good service and good value for money. My only negative would be it is a little overcrowded with very little room between tables but understandable given its prime location.
Service was excellent, though the restaurant felt 'cramped' our table was almost too small to hold our plates and glasses. Steak was a little chewy.
The food was lovely but the service was very slow, I would try another of there restaurants to compare the experience. The French onion soup was delicious.
Extremely busy when we visited but the staff were amazing still finding the time to check frequently that everything was ok. Food was lovely and no long delays between courses but we never felt rushed either.
Haven't yet had a bad meal at a Cote, they are becoming a regular pre-theatre choice. The menu is varied and with the set menu and specials changing monthly there are always plenty of choices.
Delightful venue on the Thames river bank near London Bridge. Excellent food and friendly service! If weather is good there are outside tables with sunshades.
We have been there before. The food is good as usual As well as the very professional and friendly staff. Would love to visit again sometime.
Good value with the early dinner menu and always good quality food. Haven't had a bad experience yet, would recommend for a lovely evening out.
Friendly helpful staff. Good food reasonably priced. Good location. Prompt service. Light mains menu and specials available. Clean and well appointed restaurant with tables outside overlooking the Thames.
Food was delicious, didn't take too long for the dishes to arrive. Attentive service. Will definitely to return to another Cote restaurant in the future.
It took over an hour for the food to arrive after ordering and a couple of polite chase up's 1 dish cold and returned 1 dish didn't arrive then turned up uncooked 2 were very very hot seemed like they'd been hanging around for a while and the microwaved In fairness they did give a round of drinks but we'd rather had our food needless to say I won't be back
Very good service on the day of my visit with my family Staff were kind to my younger children, Would recommend to anyone who mentioned
Excellent service and very good value set menu. Lovely setting on the summer terrace overlooking Tower Bridge. Grilled chicken with gratin dauphinois and watercress was excellent.

The occasion was a dinner, four people. Food was good, nice ambience, very busy, service was slow and very mechanical - no smiles from the lady serving us, and there seemed to be a severe lack of waiting staff in general. We had a vegetarian in the party who had only a few options on the menu, while the rest of us had loads of options.
Spent an excellent evening at Cote and whilst our first choice main was sold out and was then much delayed in coming out the service was excellent and we weren't rushed to vacate table. Those who hadn't been before were definitely happy to return.
Great atmosphere - staff really friendly. Good value on the special menu. Also was given amazing seats outside with great view. Only criticism is the tables are very close together
Always love Cote and this one didn't disappoint. Great location and great service although one of the specials was not available. Might be lucky next time.
Great location, good food, nice staff. Easy atmosphere. We were a family of 8, including 2 under 5s and there was no hurrying. Plenty of space and a welcoming attitude
Very good thank you . The food was good my dessert was cold but they bought a new one out which was good. The view was amazing when you sit outside.
Great ambience, super staff and the best cote de Beuf I've had! Also fab position and great value for money. No smoking and heaters on the terrace is also a great bonus.
Helpful staff, great food, reasonable prices (especially before 7) and tables on the riverside. Great place for our daughter's birthday meal on a beautiful summer evening. Be warned though that you can't book outside tables you have to queue for them. We were lucky and only waited all relatively short time for a table for 8 but we were quite early.
Nice meal, nice staff, great location on the Thames embankment. I can't think of anything else to say. This bistro has never let me down.
As always the welcome was warm and inviting. Food was lovely though a little fast on the service... and tha k you for the fizzy rose for my birthday.. wonderful staff and food xx see you in 2 weeks again
Excellent food! However, we visited the restaurant an hour before our booking time to verify our request for a table either outside or upstairs. When we arrived for our booking at 2.30 we were then told upstairs was closed and no available seats outside! Spoiled the experience for us!!
Great food, good wine, reasonably priced, good service. Great view. Definitely one of the best restaurant in this area. I will be a regular customer now.
Excellent service ,excellent food ,many thanks for the lovely wine, the menu was excellent choice l took some friends every one was happy and we all said we will be backs
Excellent location with river views. We had the fixed menu option with three courses for £12.95, available before 7pm. Great value, wide choice, service was excellent. We have been a number of times and will certainly be going again!
We had a lovely meal on Saturday evening. The food was tasty and hot, the service was excellent and the staff were so very friendly and obliging.
Fish pie or rather parmentier was good as was coffe. Service was very attentive at the start and less so at the end. Overal an enjoyable experience in very pleasant surroundings
The riverside location of this lovely well known chain restaurant makes it a very special find. We dined like millionaires. Food Wine and service was excellent! Will be heading back again soon. Love it.
great location especially if the sun is shining, good staff, pleasant food and wine Will be happy to return good option for all - lunch or dinner
Booking easy. Staff efficient and attentive. Food very acceptable. Ambience fine. Would almost certainly go back again. Recommended for an easy lunch time friendly meet.
Family celebration with relatives from UK, Canada and Australia. Excellent food and location. Very accommodating to one of our group who uses a mobility scooter.
Nice restaurant, staff pleasant. Menu is a bit predictable but the food was good. We enjoyed our visit and will probably come again due to convenient location for various of our group members
An enjoyable business lunch. The food was good and the service fine. This is a busy place so it is advisable to book. Our meal came to £80 for 2 incl wine. This is one of the better Cote brassiere in what is a fast growing chain.
