Lovely food, relaxed friendly staff offering attentive but not intrusive service. Would have been a 6, but for the fact vegetables were a slightly pricey extra - I think at least a seasonal selection should be offered with the meal with "special veg" then being an optional extra. Minor niggle as overall very impressed.

A lovely experience. Being a deaf customer, the lighting was OK, but could have been brighter. Server was lovely. Great menu choices and food was nice.

Somewhat disturbed by a very noisy guest on next table - not your fault. Food was excellent and good value. (one dish was on edge of oversalty in the dressing) Only gripe would be that no restaurant in France (ie a French restuarant) would charge for bread with each course- rather mean spirited.

Last Saturday was my first time at Cote Maidstone - we all really enjoyed it. The food was great and excellent value for money (we did the set breakfast with coffee and juice) and the service was FANTASTIC. Will be back for brunch again soon!

We both enjoyed our meals, starters and mains although the Mussels I had was a much smaller portion than i normally have in other restaurants and they were smaller. That is why I gave four stars and not six. Service was good.

We have been several times and as always the food was very good (I recommend the French onion soup for a starter - delicious!) and I would like to say what lovely staff you have - as always they were friendly, helpful and polite. Our group of ladies have all said the same......that's why we keep coming back! We have been to most of the Restaraunt's in Maidstone and the moment Cote is by far the best .....keep it up😊

We had to wait for our table for 30 mins and queued outside. We had booked. However it was mothers day and the waitress did apologise. Would help if there was a bar to wait at. However the service was very good and the food well worth it so will be back again.

Lovely quiet atmosphere, tables nicely set out, sparkling clean cutlery and plates, good service and delicious food. We had a voucher for free cocktails which were splendid.

Lunch for me, my wife and three kids aged 7-13. Great food and helpful, friendly staff - thoughtful and helpful but never overbearing. Very pleasant.

Our experience was very nice. The food, decor and staff were lovely. I work in hospitality and was disappointed to see a 12.5% service charge added. It is optional but felt as we didn’t pay it the staff were awkward about it. London do this, & feel it’s not necessary, don’t see why Maidstone are adding it on. Take it off let people pay what they feel. It will put people off coming back or not tipping at all.

We're always impressed with the Côte brand and the Maidstone branch is no exception. The staff are always super-friendly, the food is always delicious and I love the whole concept of the 'special of the month' which gives regular diners something new to look forward to. I also like how the restaurant is set out, lots of space and tables not too close together. There are dozens of chain restaurants in the same street as this one but Côte somehow manages to come across as individual and unique. Finally, I think it's great for date nights because it seems to always have a calm, laid back atmosphere

Fantastic, top quality, fresh and well presented food. Great, charming and stylish atmosphere. Excellent, polite and quick service. Lovely wine. Definitely the best restaurant in Maidstone.

We love Cote Brasserie but today we were a little disappointed. I had Cote de Veau but I was given a medium size T.one steak albeit from a calf. A COTE DE VEAU IS A VEAL CHOP NOT A T.BONE STEAK. Please check your translations! I look forward to your reply. Nigel Simmins nigelsimmins@talktalk.net

Excellent food. Warm, friendly, attentive service. Relaxed, tasteful surroundings. Catered perfectly to a large group with high expectations and diverse nutritional requirements. The only downside was the appalling traffic at 7pm into Maidstone.

From arrival to departing the staff were a delight. Lovely food at a reasonable price. Most definitely be back .

It was an excellent meal, as usual, and we are very impressed by the nice young lady who served us, as she always remembers that my wife is gluten free, which, we think is amazing because they must have 100’s of customers, and we only go there every four to six weeks.

We experienced a truly wonderful meal. This was our first time visiting Cote Brasserie but not our last. The service was superb.

A very pleasant evening had by all of us (group of 8). Everyone enjoyed their food and the service was good and not intrusive. Prices were reasonable for quantity and ingredients. Pleasant waiting staff. A few gripes - Wine is very over-priced and Vegetarian selection (not Vegan) is somewhat sparce unless you count 'lighter options'. We would re-visit in the future.

Great food, fantastic service. It was my friends birthday and the waiter picked up on this and brought her a lovely fresh fruit dessert with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate - he’s even taken into account the fact that she has an egg allergy. Very impressive.

Recognised as regular guests and given a warm welcome as always. The usual efficent fruendly but not rushed service. Lovely food and wine. The St Germaine spritz is so good.

Had not visited for a while so went for lunch at Maidstone Cote on 8 March. Food was really nice and could not fault. The whole experience was ruined by one simple thing which could have been rectified! I was thoroughly enjoying my crab mayonnaise but ran out of bread so asked for an extra slice. The waitress kindly bought me a basket with a couple of slices of bread and human hair! When my plate was taken away by a different waitress, without fuss and quietly, I mentioned the hair. Nothing further was said but when I caught the attention of the waitress who brought the bread she said "oh, sorry, yes, that was my hair, I cut the bread!" I don't know if she found it funny, was embarrassed or just thought it was okay. I'm shocked this was not brought to the attention of the manager and addressed, hence my poor review today.

Lovely family lunch in nice surroundings with attentive and pleasant staff

The fillet steak was lovely but was cold by the time my husband had finished eating it. Could you maybe serve it on a heated pad? We realise that he is a slow eater and the steak was med/rare so this is only a suggestion!

We had a very enjoyable evening apart from our waitress forgetting to not charge us for our complimentary bottle of House Merlot, she blamed the manager even though it was her responsibility to check our bill. Wonder if this is company policy to add this and see if the customer spots it. Otherwise the food was lovely and the service very good.
