A lovely experience. Being a deaf customer, the lighting was OK, but could have been brighter. Server was lovely. Great menu choices and food was nice.

Fantastic evening at Maidstone’s Cote Brasserie. The staff were friendly as always and the food was excellent. For a ‘chain’ restaurant I think this is possibly one of the best.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Côte, after visiting the Bluewater restaurant and consistently being met with friendly, diligent staff members. My visit today at Maidstone was far from this; members of staff didn’t bother making eye contact and we were often without cutlery or glasses. Moreover, at the end of our meal when we paid, our transaction was queried in a fairly brash manner despite it going through and us showing confirmation directly from the mobile banking app. I am aware of the intensity and pressure restaurant staff are often under, however this should not impact the guest’s experience. Automatically placing a 12.5% gratuity on our bill was distasteful, and cemented our decision to remove it. Visiting for Mother’s Day, I was expecting a lovely and relaxed afternoon, yet it was ruined by the lack of professionalism of your staff, who often ran around clueless and not bothered about the needs nor satisfaction of their customers.

Lovely food, relaxed friendly staff offering attentive but not intrusive service. Would have been a 6, but for the fact vegetables were a slightly pricey extra - I think at least a seasonal selection should be offered with the meal with "special veg" then being an optional extra. Minor niggle as overall very impressed.

Had breakfast. Third time at Maidstone. Consistent quality and service on three visits. Food hot and cooked to my liking. Service attentive without being intrusive. Atmosphere relaxing with soothing music at right volume

We had a lovely evening thanks to the amazing staff at Cote Brasserie. When we arrived my daughter had a balloon and card on the table for her birthday which was a lovely surprise. Our waitress made some excellent recommendations and the food was delicious

We have been several times and as always the food was very good (I recommend the French onion soup for a starter - delicious!) and I would like to say what lovely staff you have - as always they were friendly, helpful and polite. Our group of ladies have all said the same......that's why we keep coming back! We have been to most of the Restaraunt's in Maidstone and the moment Cote is by far the best .....keep it up😊

Great food and staff were ever so pleasant too. Would definitely recommend for anyone. We had asked for a quiet table and got just what we requested, so our needs were taken into account. The new restaurant is great too, good location and close to parking.

Our experience was very nice. The food, decor and staff were lovely. I work in hospitality and was disappointed to see a 12.5% service charge added. It is optional but felt as we didn’t pay it the staff were awkward about it. London do this, & feel it’s not necessary, don’t see why Maidstone are adding it on. Take it off let people pay what they feel. It will put people off coming back or not tipping at all.

We're always impressed with the Côte brand and the Maidstone branch is no exception. The staff are always super-friendly, the food is always delicious and I love the whole concept of the 'special of the month' which gives regular diners something new to look forward to. I also like how the restaurant is set out, lots of space and tables not too close together. There are dozens of chain restaurants in the same street as this one but Côte somehow manages to come across as individual and unique. Finally, I think it's great for date nights because it seems to always have a calm, laid back atmosphere

staff were lovely as always and the food very good although my steak was not so good every one else's food was top notch! ( they did offer to do me another steak or a refund) but as all the other food was good I declined. I will still rate as very good overall.

First visit to Cote in Maidstone. We received a warm welcome from the staff. Our waitress Frayia was charming and very helpful. The food was excellent and the ambience was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. We will certainly visit again very soon.

Food was lovely let down by poor staffing. Took over 30 minutes to even acknowledge us, then further waiting time to bring drinks and order food. Waitress was very nice, however wasn’t too happy to be queried over the optional 12.5% service charge by the waiter at end of meal.

A welcome addition to the Maidstone town centre restaurant scene judging by our first visit. Went on a very quiet Monday evening. If we got the same service and food quality on a busy night ratings would go up.

This was my second visit to Cote Brassserie in Maidstone for lunch. The first time was as part of a group of 14 and I was very impressed with the way the staff coped. Our food orders were taken efficiently and our food arrived in good time. One of our party had to send her meal back to the kitchen because the mashed potato was cold. However this was dealt with very promptly and a fresh plate of food was provided and an apology given by the Manager. My second visit was with a friend for lunch. On both occasions the service was good, the food delicious and the portions of a good size. The lunch menus, of which there are two, are changed regularly. We opted for the Two course for £10.95 or Three courses for £13.50 rather than the Prestige Set Menu. On this occasion I had the starter of Apple and Roquefort salad, Chicken and Bacon Parmentier, followed by Dark Chocolate Pot which is very rich and decadent. Staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive and there is a pleasant ambiance. There is an entrance with a ramp provided for disabled and wheelchair users, as well as a disabled toilet. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would have no hesitation in highly recommending Cote Brasserie. I'm looking forward to my next visit to sample more of their delicious food.

Another friendly welcome. Unexpectedly the weekday prix fixe menu was available on a Saturday early evening and was delicious. Service was excellent, our waitress was very keen to keep us hydrated (for free). We said we needed to be out in time for a show and we were.

Very good customer service with lovely staff and lovely food, however the food came a bit too fast! We had only had our starter for 5 minutes and food came out as we were still eating, other than that great experience overall.
