Very welcoming staff. Great breakfast served with a smile. Unhurried and attentive service. Highly recommended. We regularly visit Cote in York and Manchester and have not been disappointed.

Nice food, sea bass was lovely. Steak was Ok, not brilliant. Forgot to bring one item but was soon brought. Nice atmosphere. Will be back.

Probably one of the best meals I've had here. I chose the duck liver mousse followed by the ribeye steak. This place knows the meaning of medium rare. very pleasant staff with delicious food and good value for money. will definitely go again.

food was very good, though service was questionable I had to get up and find a server for more drinks and to order desert. Place lacked order and direction. I tried to book into a couple of other steak eateries, though were fully booked and this site was certainly not busy. I have eaten at other Cote sites, where the food has also been excellent and the service better. Next time I take my family out in Manchester, it will be somewhere else

The food was lovely and the service was great. What fell flat for us was the lack of festive decorations - there were silver twigs in the windows but that was it. It just felt a bit bare. Any other time of year it would have been fine but if you are advertising a Christmas menu surely you would make a bit of effort and make it look festive and warmer - there were other groups there who were also on their Christmas lunch. That was our only negative thought, couldn't fault the meal itself.

It was very busy with Christmas parties in full swing yet the service at our table was first class. We were off to the theatre and so we really appreciated the care and attention. The food as always was excellent.

Great atmosphere, staff very friendly food as per usual great we had to wait 1 hour for the rest of our party to appear, but no one complained about are waiting around.

Great food and nice selection of wine, the set lunch is excellent value and not a bad place to start if you are visiting for the first time. Nice friendly vibe and staff are very pleasant and attentive, without being intrusive. Recommend

Excellent visit good food and great staff would visit again in the future. The fish stew main course was excellent. Second visit and both have been good

My partners soup was hardly warm which was sent back only to receive 10minutes later with soup slopped onto plate beneath by which time I had finished my first course. Staff very polite and helpful. We always go here for celebrations and we went to celebrate my birthday before the theatre. I’m not sure whether I would go again now. My partner was very disappointed.

Excellent . Despite being very busy (two weeks before Christmas and a very snowy/wet Saturday afternoon ) we were well looked after. The staff took a great deal of trouble to accomodate my intolerance to onion and garlic and suggested alternatives . I was impressed by their care . The food we had was excellent. We were going to the theatre and ordered from the pre theatre menu which was exactly right for the time of day . Two courses and we were too full for a pudding as well . We shall go there again !

French rustic comfort food, perfect for a cold December evening. We had the pre-theatre set menu which was good value at £13.50 for 3 courses. All the staff were friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

Excellent food, service & atmosphere. This was our first visit to the Côte but it will definitely not the last. I can highly recommend the Brecon fish stew in which I had . It was well worth the visit to Manchester just to eat there. Thanks to all the staff @ Côte Brassiere for a great afternoon.

Great food and great service. We absolutely loved the French onion soup. We were also not rushed and had a very relaxing evening. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff, friendly greeting upon arrival. Was offered a variety of places to sit. Drinks order was taken promptly as was the food. Nicely presented. Had the chicken liver parfait and the spinach nd mushroom crepes. Very filling for a light bite and delicious. Will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Good service, superb food in great surroundings. Good value for money in a city centre restaurant. Busy night but staff were very attentive to all our needs.

We had a lovely table for the 6 of us. The staff were pleasant and attentive at all times. Just one hiccup one meal came with sauce on when we had asked for none- this was rectified and a new salmon was cooked. At the end of the meal we were told that the coffee would not be charged to the bill- this was appreciated. The other thing which was good to see was one of the ladies went to use the facilities the mangeress was checking everything was in order. Will certainly go again.

Although starter was a bit poor the overall experience was very pleasant the staff were very nice and friendly and the restaurant was welcoming warm and pleasant. We will definitely go again

Great dining experience one of our party was celiac gluten free and the food we we were all served was of the highest standard. Would not hesitate in recommending this restaurant to anybody.

As always good food, cooked well and fantastic service despite being busy. I have never had a bad meal here and people I've spoken to say the same, hence it is always busy. They do a very good pre theatre menu as well.

Food was fine and service overall was good apart from at the beginning of the meal whilst serving drinks the waitress unfortunately dropped a drink which went down the back of my friend. Unfortunately there were no dryers in the toilets so she was unable to dry properly which meant sitting through he whole meal in a wet top. The waitress did apologise and offered napkins to help dry but unfortunately this did spoil the meal slightly.

Perfect service and wonderful food as always! The hostess really made my mum feel special and made the whole evening amazing - props to her!

Thought it ok. Not quite as friendly as it had been before. The main meal for my son and daughter didn't come with gluten free labels as it usually does and we had to check they were right, hope they were.

All good but do not like the 12.5% service charge already added to the bill. Although it says discretionary you have to ask for the bill to be revised.

Classic dishes at very reasonable prices if you dine from the lunch or early evening menu. I find the service is always good too. One of my favourite places.
