Côte Marylebone

I have dined at cote many times in different branches and can honestly say i have always enjoyed the meals chosen wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Lovely welcoming spacious place with attentive waiters and good food!

There were 6 of us on Friday 24th January 6.45pm. The restaurant was very busy, which was good to see. The waitress was rather flustered, she seemed to be the only one serving in the back part of the restaurant. After 35 minutes nothing much had happened, we had water and ordered our wine. This eventually arrived. We ordered starters and mains. Two of us ordered Moules, one portion was nearly all empty shells and my Moules were like jelly., They were returned, Different starters were ordered and arrived. The mains came without any undue delay but all the plates were cold and all the food was luke warm. The rib eye steaks were ok but no better. We had a voucher which had been e mailed to be by Cote, although nobody at the restaurant seemed to know anything about this. Anyway the manager decided in the end that it could not be used in this particular restaurant. The bill arrived and it was good that we had been given a goodwill discount of £13. I have used Cote many times previously but on this occasion felt that your service and food fell well below your normal standards and certainly well below my expectations.

Poor quality food which was super over priced! Mussels were cold and smaller than a finger nail / could learn a lot from fancy crab suppliers!

We had a most enjoyable evening, the food and staff were excellent and a great improvement from the week before.

The food over 3 courses was well prepared, very tasty and well cooked. Good value for money with the option of several different menus. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasing and the only downside was the fact that the staff could have been more friendly.

Everything about this restaurant is just great! I would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff and good food. We would have preferred a little longer between courses so perhaps you could ask the customers how long they want to wait for the next course.

Charming young waitress. Unfortunately a very noisy group at nearby table made conversation difficult.

For me, COTE will always be my first choice if I am seeking the guarantee of modern french grub (I am French!) at fair prices. The hospitality is always good, with very very very few exceptions and COTE does exactly what it says on the tin. (Except that it is fresh- If and even it is not, it tastes like it is). So: QUOI demander de Plus?

Loved the personal and professional service! I'd wish you'd add some soft furnishings as the noise level can get counterproductive most evenings.

We had to wait a long time to get served after being seated and to pay the bill at the end. I booked dinner as I had a voucher to get a complimentary free cocktail, but they did not have the ingredients to make it!

Excellent food (except for the steak). Waitress was first class. Nice ambience. Steak was not the best we’ve had at Cote - it was rubbery in texture. Hence only 5 stars given! Restaurant a little noisy.

We loved the food but the waitress was a bit brisk with her manner .

Good food done simply. A good mix of food and wine. Lost a star only because there were no extra sauces available for one of our groups dish.

This was a double celebration lunch for my 2 daughters. The food was excellent, the staff at Côte Marylebone were wonderful, & made the occasion feel very special.

Excellent evening, great food, staff were brilliant especially the waitress who served us. Is she really French or maybe a Geordie with an uncanny ability to speak French with realistic accent??? (Only kidding - she was brilliant)

Food and service excellent. Annoying was no hot water in the bathrooms. My 2 female friends said the same. Also it was very cold on bathroom floor. Waitresses were excellent! We had a lovely evening - but hot water to wash our hands please

A firm favourite. Food tasted better than ever before. Need to return to try the French onion soup. Yum 😋

As always the service and waiting staff are attentive and personable, which is part of the reason we return back to the Marylebone restaurant. We like the fact that we can have pre dinner drink, dinner and the post dinner cocktail and are not rushed off our table. The food is always good and of a consistant standard, which is not what you always find in other restaurants or "chain" restaurants, and the marylebone restaurant doesnt feel like a "chain" at all and the food isnt either.

Cote Marylebone were terrific when giving 3 generations of my family a delicious breakfast. They were particularly kind to the children, and the whole experience was a pure delight.

Dear Cote/Marylebone, Various members of my family, friends and colleagues all really enjoy Cote over various locations. Marylebone is our local and we normally absolutely love it. However, one of the last times I was there with my (80 year old)friend, one of the waiters was consistently rude throughout the meal. I did complain on our way out and the manageress was sympathetic and lovely. I didn't complain in front of my friend because she was recovering from being in a serious road accident and I did not want to put her through any stress. I refused to go again. I do not like bad service or rude staff and we all have plenty of choice locally. My friend did return with one of her friends and although the service was improved, the food was poor quality. So we have not gone back for over 6 months. Today, we decided to give it another try as we truly love the Cote Chain and the food and service generally. I said to my friend...look, if it is awful, if we have bad food or the staff are rude we can just go somewhere else. I must congratulate the staff there today we were so beautifully looked after by Sophie our incredible attentive and knowledgeable friendly waitress and the helpful and professional manageress Christina. The food was wonderful we were treated like queens and the service was impeccable. Sophie and Christina are a total asset to Cote Marylebone and it was just a complete joy....we also got a real surprise when we were not charged for our meal which was completely unexpected ...it was a totally joyous fun afternoon and we will of course still be faithful and loyal to our lovely local Cote in Marylebone ..I commend you on your customer service and how you deal with problems. I must tell you that we are regulars of The Wolseley and we find the food and service on Par with Cote when on form as it was today. We used to be loyal followers of The Ivy but now find them rude and the food and service have gone downhill. Thank you Cote Marylebone ...we love you and will be back to being regulars as it was such a pleasure and I reiterate ...your customer service is faultless. Best Wishes Anna Turner

Absolutely wonderful ! Everything was just lovely, food, service and ambience !

We go to this Côte regularly and are rarely disappointed. The only usual issue is a bit of waiting time because it's always very busy. However this time was fairly quite (between Xmas and NY, a lot of people are away), hence we really appreciated the attentive service and the noise level down.

Cote Marylebone is a bright, friendly restaurant which does a particularly good breakfast. I really enjoyed it.

Cote Marylebone is always friendly, and the food very tasty. My only comment is that the portions aren't always quite as generous as they might be.

Yo, check it. Cote is straight wicked. The food much better than anything you can get in Staines. Wait staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Me Julie loved the drink selection. Open your mind, open your ears, open your hearts, head to Cote bruvs and leave your ice cream gloves at home.
