We had been looking forward to steak frites for many months and it did not disappoint! Really tasty, and enjoyed our kir royales, chocolate fondant and crepe puddings, too! Friendly and efficient service, too!

Our visit to Côte Muswell Hill got off to a warm welcome and we were seated at a table near the window—away from the very noisy interior of the restaurant, which was perfect. The food and beers were delicious as always, my steak cooked to perfection as were my husband's fried haddock and chips. We went with the chocaholic options for dessert: my husband had an indulgent chocolate mousse which was rich and delicious, while I enjoyed the chocolate fondant with its mouth-watering melting middle. The service was excellent. The restaurant was packed (social distancing was being scrupulously observed, of course, but there were still plenty of people enjoying Côte hospitality), but the staff still managed to make us feel special and they were attentive without being intrusive. We're looking forward to our next visit—soon! A big Thank You and Congratulations to the staff for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Always lovely food and excellent staff. The covid conditions were good and I felt safe. Cote has been a long term favourite of ours. There home delivery during lockdown was amazing - the best of all the restos we tried.

Food was good. Not amazing, but good. Sadly the two items we wanted were off the menu, then the host made a special effort for the table next to us and they managed to get the items that were “sold out”! Not too impressed. The staff could do with loosening up a little and relaxing into their roles..they seem a bit serious!

It was lovely food and service but very busy, so I was a bit concerned about the closeness of tables. The music was quite loud so people were talking loudly (something to avoid for safety reasons). Maybe no music would be better when it's that full? Some people were seated very close together, no differently from before the crisis, which I thought a little odd and concerned me (definitely not enough social distancing). I would probably avoid evenings in future and go at a quieter time. I felt a little anxious.

The layout and staff preparation / knowledge in these strange times was excellent would feel confident and safe going again first night so the lobster and fish had run out by 8 o’clock but must’ve been difficult to gauge what we had was excellent so thank you very much Côte

The food and wine were excellent as usual. However there seemed to be an air of organised chaos about the place and we detected that always was not well between staff and management. It would be a shame for this restaurant to go downhill as it has been very good.

Sent steak back, and staff were amazing and very generous as they took it off the bill without even asking. Food was delicious too. I would recommend for sure

Terrible service was really slow. .steak was burnt...by the time the replacement came it was too late. I’m so sad . it ruined my nigh. staff were vacant. Really disappointed.

Côte is always my favourite place to eat. I love the whole experience, from the subtle lighting to the delightful food and staff. Wish the seafood linguine was on the permanent menu though.

Poor and slow service. Kids' meal came out 30 minutes before the adult food, with no explanation. Full restaurant, not enough staff. Food was reasonable when it arrived.

We celebrated my aunt 80th birthday there. All family is very satisfied with the food and atmosphere. The champagne on the house is very generous. We will back there again.

As we entered we found it looked an agreeable and inviting restaurant space. The staff were friendly , efficient, courteous and helpful. We felt happy and relaxed as we chatted, laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating my mother in laws birthday. I called ahead to mention it was a celebration and we were giving a complimentary glass of bubbles, we were all very impressed with the service and food. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of our waitress but she was amazing from start to finish and very attentive.

Everything was of of the high standard we have come to expect at Cote.Food and service are very good.The one caveat was that we had booked the complimentary cocktail deal and we got these on arrival, but when we got the bill we were still charged for them and it then feels awkward having to point this out to staff.Its a small point overall, but it is the second time it has happened to us at Cote.

Lovely restaurant. Service s bit slow on last visit. Food is absolutely gorgeous but slightly small on the portion side, we ordered side dishes to bulk it up
