Côte Muswell Hill

It was a lovely meal and the service was very good. In the comment box when booking I mentioned that it was a birthday meal and was disappointed that there was no reference to that,it would have made the meal more special if my husband had had some birthday recognition.

Not a very good experience. 1) They had no Rhubarb cocktail. They did give us Kir Royal in its place. 2 I had Duck breast and it arrived raw They were very appolojetic and took it back and got it cooked some more. I have used The Cote for many years and have always found the food and staff perfect, last night was a disappointment and I will hesitate to use it again. John West

Great food and service, and also good value for money. By far, our favourite restaurant in the area. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and make you feel very welcome.

Birthday dinner for our 14 year old daughter. The food was excellent as usual but the service was not. At 8, our waitress shift ended. We were ignored. Eventually I ordered a dessert; the daughter was ignored. Had to pay at exit. Told manager of our issues, No problem, still charged us 12.5% service.

5 OF US HAD LUNCH TODAY . VERY PLEASENT WAITRESS TOOK OUR ORDER WHICH ARRIVED QUICKLY . ALL STARTERS WERE GOOD ONE MAIN A PUMPKIN RISOTTO WAS VERY OVER COOKED BUT THE OTHER ORDERS WERE GOOD . WE WOULD CERTAINLY GO AGAIN .

Always love coming to Côte and especially the Muswell Hill branch. As our local restaurant it provides everything that we could possibly want and need from a meal out. Breakfast for two with a pram, brunch with the ladies or a family dinner! Service is great and food outstanding. The staff meets your needs and are very warm and welcoming. As we are relocating we won’t be able to come around as often and we will truly miss eating here. You guys made many occasions special.

We are regulars here and usually it is spot on. But the past few times it’s been a little off. Food light on dressing/sauces, dry pissaldiere, sometimes over seasoned (too much salt) food. Friendliness of staff is still good despite a wholesale change, but service isn’t as sharp as it was. And I hate breakfast settings being placed and the general close down process/wipe down happening around me while I am still sat down finishing dinner well before the advertised closing time!

Enjoyed it overall, but long waits between courses and felt t was expensive. The main I ordered came with nothing, I had to order 2 sides to make a meal. Also don’t like the automatic 12 1/2% added to the bill Would only go when there are special offers on.

The whole experience at Cote was lovely. The staff we’re attentive, quick and friendly considering it was Valentines night and it was extremely busy. I will be going again.

Was a lovely experience this time , we had a voucher from a previous bad time at another venue. We all had three courses and each one was delicious , so tasty. The staff were very friendly and made it a special evening.

Attentive staff when we arrived 4 people asked if we wanted drinks and 4 times we said we’d wait for our friends . Onion soup good as always . Lamb had one inedible chewy/stringy piece but remainder was good asked for medium well was still but pink. Really long wait for 3 desserts and restaurant was fairly empty at this point !? New cutlery brought after starters but there was water in table and staff didn’t seem to notice so maybe should wipe tables between courses

Fabulous food, service and atmosphere. Four of us each had different food, all superb. Free cocktails gorgeous. House White wine delicious. Highly recommend for night out.

Terrible , food sent back as cold, didn’t eat at the same time...this was a free meal to make up for a poor experience previously...never coming again

Great service, very attentive, Steak was over cooked but very nice quality. Very Busy restaurant so difficult maybe to manage quality of food Côte is normally very good.

we felt the food was poor. the risotto was one of the worst we have had for some time. the swordfish was cool but edible, probably because it has been sitting around waiting for other dishes to be ready.

We had a fantastic evening celebrating my mother in laws birthday. I called ahead to mention it was a celebration and we were giving a complimentary glass of bubbles, we were all very impressed with the service and food. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of our waitress but she was amazing from start to finish and very attentive.

Good choice of food including some good vegetarian options and an extensive wine list. The ambience in Cote is great and the staff are generally helpful and attentive.

Food was lovely but service was slow. Would visit again but should definately focus on the kitchen to table aspect of the restaurant as it’s key to retaining return custom.

Excellent value set meal as always perfect French bistro fare. We had the prestige set menu which is very reasonable and the rib eye steak was amazing.

Really lovely meal, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food in every course. Good choice for vegetarians. Service excellent, prices reasonable for quality of food. Spoilt for choice so definitely be returning to try more items on the menu. Was noisy but that was because it was so busy.

Terrible service was really slow. .steak was burnt...by the time the replacement came it was too late. I’m so sad . it ruined my nigh. staff were vacant. Really disappointed.

Have been coming here for a while and every time we do we experience great food and service. I would highly recommend this for lunch or dinner.

We had the weekend special. We asked for the steaks to be medium rare and they came back well done. We asked for the Burger with cheese and it came without initially. Then it had cheese but the meat was over-cooked even burnt. Very disappointing
