My friend and I enjoyed our lunch today, loved the complimentary Pampelle Spritz, delicious and very refreshing. Service was excellent, friendly and professional. Couldn’t fault the food either, one of our best visits to Cote.

If we ever fancy a steak we always go to Cotes. Normally Cotes steak are cooked to perfection. On this occasion however we were disappointed. It was over cooked and very dry. We are hoping it's a one off. The waiting staff were as usual very friendly.

Late lunch and few people dining so little atmosphere that afternoon. However this did mean the service was very attentetive . The staff are always so pleasant and the food is consistently good.

We had a very relaxed and enjoyable meal at Cote as we always do. The food was delicious, full of flavour and our waiter was attentive and friendly. The whole experience was great. We will be back.

Good friendly service, good food, good wine selection. Variety of menus. Air conditioning which was useful as it’s really hot tonight. Clean restaurant and toilets.

A very enjoyable ladies lunch, everything worked well. Lovely food, quick service, attentive and helpful staff, and a relaxed ambiance. No loud noises or music or distractions to interfere with the enjoyment of the company. Will be back!

The food was great, we had the minute steak with frites which was delicious as well as excellent value for money. The staff were also friendly and attentive, we didn't wait for long for anything

Food was perfect, the host who sat us was extremely pleasant and helpful, even for 9am in the morning!!! I was greeted by smiles and a ‘can do’ attitude. I think it helped that the host was looking forward to his holiday (which I was very jealous of!!)

Celebrated my husband's birthday with a lunchtime meal. Food was good and served by a very pleasant young man. The service generally was good and the food arrived quite quickly. Always a good experience.

Service was poor, took forever for anyone to Offer drinks, take food orders etc. Child’s started came a few minutes after everyone’s starter plates had been removed. No check back on table. No further drinks orders taken. Meals were relatively good, chicken bone dry. 1hr 50mins from ordering to leave after two courses. No One offered deserts or bill. Had to get up to ask for bill, then wait a prolonged period to receive it then pay. Disappointing.

Although the food was good and up to the usual standard the service was poor....and slow. The waiter had to be reminded to bring water, queried on the delay between drinks and starter courses, the delay between starter and main and asked twice to bring the bill. Not up to the usual Cote standard I'm afraid, however I'm sure we will come back

Excellent light and tasty meal. My husband enjoyed the french onion soup, as always. I had the special of Duck for main which was tasty, crisp and perfectly portioned. Cote never feels to disappoint and the staff are always friendly and professional, even when busy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food and great, friendly service. As always the staff are attentive without being over bearing. The menu choice caters for all tastes and the white chocolate mousse was amazing.

Good service with good atmosphere and very good food at a really good price...don't know how to beat the value for money, will certainly visit again.

Food was excellent as always, slightly long wait between starter and main but I was particularly hungry and we were not having alcohol with our meal as had visited pub next door beforehand! Lovely professional and courteous staff. I find it frustrating that it is not possible to receive rewards unless meal is booked on line prior to visit. I appreciate this is a head office decision.

Wonderful service from arrival to end. Great menu always available and never had a bad meal in twenty or more visits! Wish other restaurants could learn from their way of satisfying customers. They must have built a very strong repeat experience from Newbury clients. Gordon

I booked the table online the evening before Father's Day. Lucky to get a table at 11am. A later one would be 2:15pm. Although we could see not all tables were occupied at the time but I think it's a way to maintain their good service (customers who were there didn't need to wait for too long to be served). Delicious food! We will definitely come back very soon.

We went to Cote Brasserie in Newbury for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and I must say we couldn't be happier on both occasions! We had a party of 10 people that end up to be a VIP private dining organised by the management, our waitress Ewelina was FANTASTIC! Super professional, extremely positive and polite - despite the fact in was New Year's Eve and no one really wants to work - she really made our night special! Also compliments to the chef as food was just beautiful: we had some seafood, followed by this giant and tasty steak <3 I will highly recommend Cote Newbury to everyone! I think this is one of the best restaurants in town at the moment: starting with the waiters, through great kitchen team to the management. and the set up is just lovely! Keep up the great work guys! xxx

Father’s Day celebrations. We had nice and quiet table, not too busy. Service was good the staff was great, food very tasty. Will come back soon!

Amazing food and amazing service. The food was out very quickly considering it was 8pm on a Saturday. Delicious food. I had duck breast which was cooked to perfection and my boyfriend had a steak which was also lovely. The staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. You get what you pay for.

We had a very nice lunch at Cote Newbury with friends. Our waitress was exceptional and the service was very good. We would definitely go back again.

We had a very good lunch at Newbury - buzzy atmosphere, good service, great food - my husbands lamb was pink and tender, my duck breast with cherries was fab. The June special starter of toms was the best starter we've had in ages.

Brilliant evening spent at Cote. We had 3 courses each and the food was absolutely delicious!!! And great service, really friendly staff!! Highly recommended going.

Very attentive and great service and lovely air conditioning on a very clammy evening. Food was good and arrived fairly quickly and was as ordered. Good wine list and champagne was chilled so we did not have to wait. All in all very good

A lovely restaurant they did move us to another table as ours was in the middle of a big party and was very loud . The food and service was really good would go back there .

Wonderful as ever! Cote Newbury, for us, is simply the best. The food and wine were exquisite... and after we had left, the telephone call to say we had left our shopping there was the topping on a stunning cake! We go every week ... and we are picky! See you next week, Cote Brasserie Newbury!

We had the lunch deal menu - a nice variety of choices. Food arrived promptly and service was good.We were too full to try the deserts.

Sat in the sunshine outside. Super service and delicious vegetarian cooked breakfasts. Relaxed and leisurely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it. Good selection on offer and not rushed through as is so often the case in many restaurants.

Lovely meal with a friend, and very efficient service, when I said at the start that we were on our work lunch break. Will be returning.
