Have eaten here quite a few times but today cooking not quite up to usual standard, chicken a little dry, and not the usual high standard of service. Really like the place though.

Had breakfast and dinner here on same day as visiting Newbury Races. Food was very good both times, very efficient service with lovely staff. Live too far from Newbury but would definitely eat here again next time we do come back !

Fantastic waitress who delivered great service, and fantastic food! Yet again we had a lovely time and would highly recommend Cote Newbury. Steak Frites takes some beating!

Lovely business lunch at the Newbury Cote restaurant, the service was prompt and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend eating here in the future.

Seated very quickly, drinks order promptly taken and brought to table, food order taken and was also served quickly and was piping hot, waiter was very attentive. We shared the fougrasse bread to start and thought it some of the best we have eaten. Will return.

I choose a Cote restaurant whenever I am able to, because the food is consistently tasty and good value for money. The staff are always very welcoming.

Tried the new vegetarian menu. It was very good. Just. One minor criticism, the tomatoes were missed out of the omelette. This was rectified very quickly by the staff who provided us with a large plate of tomatoes!

Very pleasant,was seated by the window which we liked. VERY good attentive waiter who served us with a charming smile. My husband says his French onion soup is the best he has ever had. We have been here a couple of times and would definitely recommend this restaurant

Just what we needed after cinema. Swift friendly and steak frites did the job exactly. Do like the minute steaks to be a fraction pinker.

We received a warm welcome. Our waiter was very polite and friendly. We all chose a different starter and main course from the early evening menu. The service was prompt and the food looked tempting and tasted delicious. Couldn't fault anything. Would definitely visit again

Always reliable, with good well cooked food, very pleasant staff and surroundings and always good value. Even when busy the noise level very acceptable. Will be back.

Lovely breakfast, between the 3 of us we had eggs benedict, bacon roll, fresh fruit salad, french breakfast, orange juice, presecco and coffees. All absolutely delicious. Very attentive staff. Would highly recommend.

Lovely food and great service, as always. Tried the fruit salad and pain au chocolate as a change from cooked breakfast. Fruit salad was wonderfully fresh.

Booked on line but not through rewards so offer of free wine bottle no good Will do better next time Ran out of time for desserts- ie service could have been slicker, think delay was on having order taken Food very good-escalope a bit big

Friendly service. Disappointing the main course I wanted wasn't available. Food chosen was excellent as always. Loved the Creme caramel, very creamy and a good consistency.

So it was my birthday and I signed up for the complimentary Kir royal deal. I was disappointed it wasn't offered to me and I had to ask for it. As it was a birthday offer it would have been a nice touch for staff to say "Happy Birthday". We opted for the set menu the main course with extra vegetables was on the whole delicious but we both thought that the steak was tough. Our desert was however lovely I went for the chocolate pot and my husband the crumble.

Great food in a well laid out restaurant. We had the choice of tables which was a nice change and were well looked after by the staff.

The meal was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Cote Brasserie's crème caramel is superb! Service is friendly and efficient and it is always a pleasure eating there.

Good, attentive service and the food was mainly very good. Charcuterie board starter was delicious and the praline crepe dessert was excellent. However my sirloin steak main was chewy and rather tasteless.

Great value set menu and excellent service. My wife loves the Bergerac white wine. A wider choice of beers would be good. Will definitely visit again.

Food was excellent. Friendly staff Service was a little slow, but it was very busy at the time. Only down-side was the very noisy table adjacent to us! So loud!!

Lovely, pleasant prompt service. Food delicious. Enjoyed the seasonal specials especially the asparagus. Possibly the best Creme Caramel ever. All Côte restaurants have a consistently high standard.

I went to Cote Brasserie with 3 friends on Tuesday 9th May. I booked on line which was really easy. The food was wonderful and the service was great. Will definitely go back again.

We had a lovely steak meal and Sandra our waitress was delightful and very attentive. We are really looking forward to our next visit which will be sooner rather than later!

The Newbury restaurant has got very friendly and helpful staff and breakfast is always at a consistently high standard. I highly recommend their Formule breakfast as it is great value.

I'm a regular visitor, always good quality food and friendly staff who are very welcoming! A varied seasonal menu with a French twist, extensive wine list.

All the charm of a family run French restaurant; good wine, great atmosphere and the food was varied, interesting and prepared to perfection. The Cote de boeuf was cooked precisely the way we asked even though it was a busy Saturday evening; so the chef is clearly on top of their game. The staff were attentive and plentiful without any intrusion, no long waits for anything. We have previously sampled the morning menu and found Cote Brasserie to be a must for a lazy Sunday morning breakfast; but this was our first time eating there in the evening. An excellent meal and we will definitely be returning.

Lovely food very hot and tasty with wide variety on set menu. Efficient service and enjoyed a more peaceful experience as the restaurant wasn't very busy.
