Although there is always a wait for food, when it does come it is delicious. Kitchen has a lot of tables to cope with and we understand. Service is excellent.

We visit this restaurant regularly, the service is always brilliant and the food is delicious. I had the pork belly last night and it was tender, juicy, served with a gorgeous apple and brandy gravy. Would highly recommend this restaurant for your date night.

All the ingredients - good food, excellent service, lovely ambience, etc. - are in place, but what makes Cote exceptional is the staff who are, without exception, delightful

We visit monthly and enjoy seeing the new set menu each time. We are never disappointed with the flavours of food and the friendly service.

The decor was modern and the staff were friendly and efficient. The menu was varied and was not too expensive. The food was good and we had a nice bottle of wine with our meal.

The greeting and welcome, the food and wine were all excellent but trying to attract anyone's attention to get the bill took a long, long time! A good experience - will be coming again.

Our party of four each had a different starter and main course all of which were excellent. The welcome and table service could not be faulted. Would recomend Cote without hesitation.

Very friendly staff, excellent food a lovely place for a pre cinema dinner. We have tried other Côte brasseries' but have found Newbury to be one of the best.

The staff were friendly and helpful - attentive but not overly so. The choice on the lunch/early evening set menu was good. The meal was nicely cooked and overall it was good value for money.

Great menu choices at reasonable prices, ideal for lunch or after work with friends. We went with family (no young children) and the environment is good for relaxed conversation. Good choice of wines and good service. We shall be back.

4 girls celebrating an engagement - we had one excellent gluten free brunch of smoked salmon & scrambled eggs and 3 fab veggie brunches with fresh spinach, avocado, softly poached eggs, veggie sausage a huge mushroom & fresh tomatoes with sourdough toast - plus juice, tea & coffee, all for a bargain £9.95! Washed down with a very good bottle of fizz (a Cremant de Bourgogne) - would've been rude not to!

The staff were really nice and provided good service. I felt overall the food was over priced. i ordered a Rib eye steak,which in my book is a generous slab of beef,with marbling. What was served was a perfectly rounded,hamburger shaped piece of beef,which unfortunately gives a stereotypical impression of chain restaurants. The taste was reasonable,but could do better at home.

Our experience was superb from start to finish. The food was fantastic and the service even more so. The staff really are a credit to the company and are very attentive without being over the top. The two free glasses of fizz were a lovely gesture when they realised it was my wife's Birthday!!

Staff are excellent and the atmosphere is relaxed, never trying to shuffle you out the door and rushing your time there. Food is great but the monthly specials help to refresh your experience , it my favourite place for breakfast.

Lunch was delicious, especially the scallops! I was meeting a friend so the delay on the main courses was not really a problem but we did have to remind one of the staff. Otherwise as usual brilliant.

Excellent brunch, of consistent quality and friendly service. The restaurant space is very friendly for families as well as couples. We are repeat visitors and always look forward to going there.

It was my friends 60th birthday celebration and we had lunch at core and the staff couldn't do anymore to make it special. Thank you to everyone.

Another excellent meal but we were not impressed with our waitress. She twice complained how busy she was and when I asked how the calamari was cooked, she replied in a very curt manner 'what do you mean?' I wanted to know if it was fried or grilled and whether it was cooked in a batter. A perfectly reasonable question I would have thought.

Excellent service and most meals were very good - the only disappointment was the Camembert starter, not at all what was expected. Service is included.

very good experience, the service was excellent and on a timely manner. Not the first time that we have eaten at this restaurant and will not be the last, as on previous visits the food is well presented with good size portions for all.

Always a warm welcome. Attentive service and delicious breakfast menu. Hot drink choice is also excellent, a strong black Americano always goes down well. Offered a lovely spot by the window to enjoy the sunshine. Look forward to a return visit soon.

Friendly service and tasty food. The steak frites was particularly good and the set menu (before 7.00 pm) is very good value for money with plenty of choice to suit everyone.

We had a lovely visit to Cote in Newbury today. Whilst we've eaten at several branches of this fabulous French restaurant it was a first for us at Newbury. Food as always excellent and great value for money in relaxing surroundings and very attentive staff. Thank you.

Warm welcome, prompt service, good choice of menu and delicious food. The pork belly was cooked to perfection and we would recommend the profiteroles, if you can fit them in!
