Brunch today was amazing! We had everything prepared the way we wanted, without any complaints about my requests for alterations to the menu. Everything was perfect, served hot, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was cheerful and smiling throughout. I love Cote!

Really good food and friendly, attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit when you're in Newbury but advisable to book in advance. The roast chicken is always excellent!

Good service and excellent food. Always consistent. I would have scored higher if we hadn't been asked if we were enjoying our meals every other mouthful. Also, even though it is optional I don't like service charges added to bills.

Great food, excellent service and competitive prices. Visit the restaurant fairly regularly and if there is ever a problem with the food, the matter is dealt with immediately to our satisfaction.

The staff were very friendly and very attentive. The food was excellent and we didn't have to wait long. The restaurant is in a lovely location.

Good atmosphere good selection on menu and food well presented, staff happy , helpful and Attentative enough, very pleasant evening . seating on benches a bit difficult for us oldies! Next time Better with table and chair!

Slow service to start but once we found our server then it was all excellent. Food, beverages and table service was excellent and all the serving staff are excellent.

Usual excellent Cote experience. Food good, service immaculate. You can always rely on Cote for a good meal at modest cost in a very pleasant environment.

Great waiters, good choice of lovely food, nice atmosphere, good selection of wines (obviously all French but that made us tried something different which was very good), didn't have to wait too long for each course.

I don't know if they were short-staffed today but the service was very slow, even for a late lunch with not many other diners in the restaurant. They add the tip on - otherwise I'm not sure we would have tipped. The food was good, though.

Good food, great value for money and friendly service. The choices on the set lunch menu change regularly and there is always something new and interesting to try.

We had the vegetarian breakfast, which we had really liked before. Unfortunately the spinach was very gritty. I can only presume it had not been washed properly. Also the avocado was too hard ,and unable to cut it. The staff were very understanding and helpful though.

Wonderful meal service and attention to detail just greatly improved this restaurant I can't fault staff so polite and attentive and steak just perfect well do this restaurant

The Cote in Newbury is always a joy to visit. The staff are very friendly and the food is always good. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done Newbury.

I have visited Cote fairly frequently, having been introduced to the chain in Wimbledon ten years ago. Recently, I have become disinchanted with the food at the Newbury branch, so I will not be returning there.

We chose from the "lunch/early evening" fixed price menu, plenty of choice and excellent value. Very friendly and efficient service. We were not rushed, but we were finished in an hour. A very pleasant restaurant.

Excellent food but one of the puddings had run out. Service was very good although it was a busy Friday night. Wine glasses absent from table setting were quickly brought by our server who was very good

I try to visit a Cote restaurant every week because they remind me of holidays spent decades ago eating in French brasseries with my children. Salads always have Vinaigrette - unlike the dry lettuce leaves presented in British eateries !

We have eaten in this establishment many times. Staff very courteous. Enjoyable starter, especially the steak tartar, and main meal very tasty. Attentive, pleasant and friendly waitress too.

Portion sizes rather small. 4 small tomatoes, a handful of leaves and 3 or 4 scant shavings of cheese hardly constitutes a starter at these prices. To be fair though it is all quite fresh.

Welcomed back, listened to and given tasty filling but not heavy food. The champagne for their 10th Anniversary was excellent. Highly recommend Cote in Newbury.

great welcoming staff very helpful and polite service was very good they kept topping up our water jug with out us having to ask. The food was good. I don't like the service charges that was automatically put on it was over £20 !! So I did pay it. Left our own.
