My husband & I have Visited Cote Brassiere many times .We've always had lovely food & really great, friendly service. We Love the relaxing atmosphere here. Would definitely recommend.

Service a bit slow the food was good wine and pre dinner drinks were good. Enjoyable evening and buzzing atmosphere- the cod special was excellent.

Brunch today was amazing! We had everything prepared the way we wanted, without any complaints about my requests for alterations to the menu. Everything was perfect, served hot, and the service was excellent. Our waiter was cheerful and smiling throughout. I love Cote!

We had the vegetarian breakfast, which we had really liked before. Unfortunately the spinach was very gritty. I can only presume it had not been washed properly. Also the avocado was too hard ,and unable to cut it. The staff were very understanding and helpful though.

Great food, excellent service and competitive prices. Visit the restaurant fairly regularly and if there is ever a problem with the food, the matter is dealt with immediately to our satisfaction.

Usual excellent Cote experience. Food good, service immaculate. You can always rely on Cote for a good meal at modest cost in a very pleasant environment.

Great waiters, good choice of lovely food, nice atmosphere, good selection of wines (obviously all French but that made us tried something different which was very good), didn't have to wait too long for each course.

I don't know if they were short-staffed today but the service was very slow, even for a late lunch with not many other diners in the restaurant. They add the tip on - otherwise I'm not sure we would have tipped. The food was good, though.

Good service and excellent food. Always consistent. I would have scored higher if we hadn't been asked if we were enjoying our meals every other mouthful. Also, even though it is optional I don't like service charges added to bills.

I try to visit a Cote restaurant every week because they remind me of holidays spent decades ago eating in French brasseries with my children. Salads always have Vinaigrette - unlike the dry lettuce leaves presented in British eateries !

I have visited Cote fairly frequently, having been introduced to the chain in Wimbledon ten years ago. Recently, I have become disinchanted with the food at the Newbury branch, so I will not be returning there.

Excellent food but one of the puddings had run out. Service was very good although it was a busy Friday night. Wine glasses absent from table setting were quickly brought by our server who was very good

Good food, good surroundings only slightly marred by being charged for one portion of veg we didn't have but corrected immediately when pointed out. Also the automatic application of a service charge should not be applied and the amount should be left to the discretion of the customer.

There is always a good food selection for all tastes. The lunchtime menu offers excellent choice and value and the staff are always friendly and helpful

great welcoming staff very helpful and polite service was very good they kept topping up our water jug with out us having to ask. The food was good. I don't like the service charges that was automatically put on it was over £20 !! So I did pay it. Left our own.
