The atmosphere was nice and relaxing. Service was good, food was delicious.

Staff were amazing, food no so! Every time I ask for hard scrabbled eggs they give me runny. Couldn’t eat it. They gave me a free coffee so oh well.

Lunch started with a warm welcome from attentive staff. The menu offered a wide range of dishes. The food was delicious and served with a smile. The value for money of the 3 courses meal made paying the bill a pleasure.

Everytime I go to cotes the staff are always so welcoming and greet you with a nice smile. They check on you and the customer service is very good too. Highly recommend and great place to go.

Good atmosphere, excellent service. We were not in a big hurry so wanted a relaxed style, and that was provided. Bit noisy, unfortunately.

Fantastic visit, the french onion soup and steak frites were great and my wife exclaimed the salmon was the best she’s ever eaten. Friendly and attentive service. Thumbs up !

Enjoyable meal in a safe environment with attentive, pleasant staff. Only weakness was that the burger arrived with relish, although it had specifically been requested without. As an apology they kindly gave a complimentary dessert.

A nice varied menu which is reasonably priced. Our waiter made two amazing rhubarb cocktails. He was friendly and very professional aswell as attentive. His excellent service will mean we will return again. We ate here on Sunday 13th of September

Excellent as always, tried the weekend breakfast 10.00 to 14.00. The traditional English breakfast was 1st rate, only blip was having to remind them to bring our toast. Glad they’re back open, a step towards normality...

This place never disappoints. We went for brunch today and the food and service were excellent. We also noticed they were keeping all the seating areas and tables regularly cleaned and sanitised. We will be back again soon.

Spectacular brunch and was so missed over the past 6 months. Staff are wonderful and very welcoming.

Lovely food, tables spread out well - much better than being crammed in. Star deducted for slower service than normal - other diners who had sat down after us being served quicker than us but overall a lovely lunch.

Up to the usual high quality level of both service and food.
