Simply the. Best restaurant in Newbury, the service and quality of food never varies from its high standards. Enjoyed my favourite steak and frittes tonight. Staff always well presented and knowledgeable. Hope you will remain in Newbury for years to come.

Booked at 9.45 for a quick in/out breakfast for 3 as usual. Needed to leave for 10.30 which is normally possible. Order taken at 10.04 and no food by 10.25 so one of us had to leave. The food was great when it came but disappointed with how it worked out. Also charged for individual items although we had ordered 3x Formule breakfasts?

Booked on line. Service good. Not hurried between courses. Would go again.

We are never disappointed with the food and service at Cote in Newbury and our last visit was no exception. Super breakfast and our granddaughters were well catered for.

The meal was good. I wanted to swap a dessert this couldn’t be done. I then had to ask three different members of staff before I got my coffee they delivered the bill first.

No draft beer, bottled very expensive, service slow, but food was good

We love this restaurant and especially the breakfast, the staff are always friendly and very accommodating for our young children. This is the first time I wont give outstanding reviews, I tried the French breakfast for a change and was disappointed, it was warm at best and the boudin noir was actually cold. A real shame and hope this was a one off.

Short staffed, food tepid, had to replace, staff good, party of three placed at different tables initially so we had to messsge each other to see where they’d got to! However food excellent as always and good ambience. Staff apologetic and reduced bill amount. First time we had a problem but would still return as Cote is usually a very good choice.

I booked for the first time through google and was a little unsure of its readability but it was very smooth and as always at Cote in Newbury I had a very pleasant meal with my family.

As we were going to the Corn Exchange for a show, the restaurant was very near the Theatre. We like French food so it was a no brainier. Next time we are in Newbury we will differently be having a meal there, very good.

Really good food and service, and although they were busy due to Mother’s Day it didn’t impact the experience.
