Cote Newbury is a wonderful surprise. It's a chain but you wouldn't think that as the service is so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious and reasonably priced and there are always offers on. Great options for kids too. Another plus for me is the setting and lighting. We will keep coming back!!!

We had booked a table for two at 9.00pm. We actually arrived at 9.15 with three of us! However it was no problem and we were well looked after. The food and wine were excellent as was the service. We will be back!

We booked here for my Mums 70th birthday in August. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. They let me decorate the table early and did everything they could to make it a special night for my mum. Thank you so much. And just to top it off the food was amazing

We took the children for lunch and all had a fantastic meal. The service was equally good and would recommend it for a lunch time stop off.

The food was excellent as usual, but the service a bit hit and miss. We had to chase one of the meals, we weren’t asked if we wanted any sauces and it work a while for us to be able to pay the bill.

Very impressed with the food and the service, great atmosphere and really good gluten free options. Recommend the chocolate pot for a perfectly scrumptious little dessert if you just want a hit of something chocolately, luscious & sweet - yum!

Lovely breakfast in relaxed setting. Both of us chose the Full English as part of the Formule offering which is both good quality & great value. Overall highly recommended.

I often have lunch with my sister here as it is a convenient location for us boht. We have always had gtreat food and fabulous service. The setting itself is very pleasantly laid out and the food and drink selection offers something for everyone.

I really like the Reading Cote so thought we'd give Newbury a go. It was OK, but I wouldn't rush back. Steak was bland, and rather too many mirrors around.

Had an excellent New Years Eve Dinner. Service in a very busy restaurant was still friendly and attentive. Food to the usual high standard. After attending the local pantomime this was an enjoyable way to continue the evening.

Meal was ok. Steak very fatty and undercooked! Sea bass dish was lovely but came with no sides (potatoes) ordered a side of carrots which never arrived! It was New Years Eve so had a set menu and it was busy, but expected better!

Lovely meal with exception of halibut dish which was overcooked and dry. This was replaced with a replacement which was better. We were also charged for two extra drinks. This was rectified.

The food was very good however it was Christmas Eve and the restaurant was very busy. This resulted in the service being very slow. We waited 40 mins between starter and main course and gave up by dessert. At no time were we advised of a delay or given any apology or explanation. This was not the usual service we have received or expect from Côte.

Excellent choice of good, very varied and well presented. Staff are always friendly and efficient. There's always a good 'buzz' as Newbury Cote seems to be very popular.
