A very warm welcome, a complimentary drink for my partners birthday a nice touch. Food was expertly prepared as always, never feels rushed. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

As usual, very tasty and well presented food with very attentive service. I visit Côte on a regular basis and I always find the food and service consistently good.

Friendly welcome from all staff. Waitress was attentive, even though it was very busy. A very enjoyable breakfast experience. Have been to other Cote, and food is always excellent. Would definitely go again.

The food and service was fab especially the duck !!! Although we were disappointed with the fish parmentier as it was such a small dish !! Won't order that again !!

Great service as usual and a very pleasant meal in good surroundings. Still the one to beat in Newbury and we will be back soon. :-)

A regular visitor here, never disappoints. Service was a bit slower today, however food was lovely and staff friendly! Looking forward to a return visit!

There is a good choice of lovely food and excellent, attentive service from the staff, most of whom have been working there for some time. The restaurant is clean and attractively furnished with a good ambience.

Friendly, accommodating and hospitable. Welcomed personaly by staff members. Genuine care on food and service. Tasty food, well presented and perfect portion sizes at very reasonable price.

Another visit to Cote last night for a works get together this time. Service and food excellent as always. I would struggle to find fault but if I did it would be to ask to change the main menu occasionally because we visit so often it would be nice to choose something different.

Lovely food. Service a wee bit slow but there were a few large parties in which would have taken up the servers time. Staff lovely and friendly.

Having visited Cote Ne wbury many times for Breakfast, Lunch and Main Menu I have yet to find any fault with service or quality of the food.

Excellent lunchtime food at very reasonable price. First course was quite slow in being served as very busy. Otherwise I would have rated it a 6.

Lovely meal, staff excellent but sadly service a little slow due to number of diners. Will soon book a further visit gor the New Year.

Excellent food and service, this was our fourth visit and we have not been disappointed with the three course early evening special deal. Recommended for sure.

The food was excellent as always but the service was rather slow on this occasion. However when we mentioned a bottle of wine was deducted from the bill.

Amazing from start to finish, beautiful food served at perfect intervals (would highly recommended the mussels and duck) The service was top notch, friendly and professional. The only thing I would have a little moan about is the 12.5% service charge it doesn’t go to the waitress or waitor that serves you but gets shared between them all. If you have had a top service ignore the service charge and give it straight to the member of staff that has served you that way they get all the tip for there hard work :)

Lovely spot, the food is good value and a wide menu selection. Staff very professional, welcoming and attentive. Would recommend to all types of diner.

Food was excellent - the crepes wonderful. The lady who served us was very friendly and service very prompt. Our table was by the window as we had requested.

My food was cold but still full of taste, it was quite hard to get hold of staff. I feel the service slipped slightly this time.

As usual a great evening at Côte Brasserie. Food and wine is great, and staff couldn't be any better! So friendly and attentive. Wonderful place.

The staff are extremely pleasant and efficient. The 'pre 7pm' menu was excellent value and very tasty. I had the steak frites (again!) and enjoyed it as always.

Perfect end to our evening. Great food. My husband had a fish pie and I had chicken both of which were delicious. Will definitely come again.

Good service from friendly enthusiastic staff, a varied choice of menu and fine quality food which is well presented. Every Côte restaurant I’ve visited (Brighton, Cardiff, Cheltenham, Oxford, Newbury) has been consistent and represents excellent value.

Good service as expected. The Cote de Boeuf was exceptional, shame about the rib eye being very grissley but previously had a fantastic one here before.

A very pleasant experience. Good ambiance, and attentive service. The food was served quickly after our order was taken and when it arrived it was delicious.

Food really good but portions slightly on the small side. Service a bit slow. Coffees arrived before desserts. Early evening menu not available on Saturdays but not mentioned on website. But overall a pleasant pre theatre meal.

Overpriced for poor quality food. Won't be back in a hurry. Staff OK, but 12.5% added to serve the meal (is not their role anyway?) Is a bit much.

the restaurant was good as usual and the service was good, the service staff were friendly as always. there was four of us and we had the lunch menu. one main was the fish, excellent. Three mains was the pork confit, we have never had a confit before and found this dish disappointing. My dish was just ok, but my sister and wife did not finish. I think that the accompanying should be more appetising, not a salad. [ possibly vegetables and a sauce of some description. any way I will not have that again.
