Good food and good service. Have been several times and each time it has been a pleasant visit. As a vegetarian I would just like more main course choices.

The Cote Brasserie in Newbury is first class. The service is great and the food is really good with lots of choice - will definitely be returning

Very good food and good service. Not enough variety in choice of vegetarian mains options. I've had both now several times and would like a change.

Meal arrived cool and asked for re heat. Replacement arrived piping hot tasty and cost removed from the bill. Good but right first time would have been better

Disappointed we nevertheless the table we were told we could have despite making our booking about three weeks earlier!! Overall the meal was nice and I would recommend this restaurant.

We had a lovely dinner, the service was excellent and the food lovely and hot. House red wine was tasty. Very good value for money and the surroundings so ambient for a good night.

The calamari was great. The chicken main was overcooked. The tarte tatin was fabulous. The service could have been better though. Overcooked main and service are the reasons for not so great ratings.

We love Cote in Newbury - the staff are welcoming, friendly and wonderfully attentive and the food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and nicely furnished and you can pop in for a quick lunch or stay all afternoon - lovely never to be rushed out. They have good offers if you join their rewards scheme and I go there for supper with my husband and kids and sneaky lunches with friends when time allows. Menu has something for everyone and there is a decent wine list. Highly recommended (although not too highly or I'll never be able to get a table!)

Pleasant, clean, welcoming staff, not rushed service, good food and nice atmosphere. Though a little expensive for nipping out for a little bit of supper...

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and delicious mouth watering food. Never disappointed so making this a regular place to eat. Set price menu makes it ideal for those on a budget to have a treat.

Lovely meal, service was good considering how busy it was; small error with one of the starters but changed immediately, the hardest thing was getting the bill at the end. Go to Cotes monthly and love the early set menu.

Nice Mother's Day lunch. Good gluten-free options which makes a nice change. My daughter enjoyed the chocolate fondant enormously. Would recommend particularly for gluten free.

We enjoyed a nice meal, towards the end of the evening there seemed to be no staff. We waited to order coffee but no one was around, so we just asked for the bill and left.

Very slow service. Uncooked fish needed to be sent back. Steak not especially tasty. Mussels cool when served. Puddings were nice. It was however extremely busy

Lovely meal, excellent service, great ambiance. Lived up to the usual Cote Brasserie high standard. Would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again. We enjoyed our free bottle of wine for registering for the rewards scheme.

Food and service very good. Ambience is pleasing, French bistro style. You should note that an "optional" 12.5% service charge is automatically added to the bill.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our spacious table that allowed plenty of space for my husband's wheelchair. We enjoyed good food, friendly service and were well catered for in every respect. When the waiter learned it was our wedding anniversary we were served glasses of bubbly.

Had a very pleasant meal with my wife and children Staff very efficient and friendly and food was excellent . With a nice cosy restaurant atmosphere we keep coming back as have not found a better venue in Newbury. Well done to all the staff who certainly work hard to make it happen for their customers.

great breakfast, polite and helpful staff . Full English cooked to perfection. booking code already noted by staff and had reserved booth. all round excellent.

The service was excellent and we all enjoyed the meal, my son who likes steaks said the ribeye was great, we all had different sweets and again very, very good.
