Côte Newcastle

I love Cote Brasserie in Newcastle. Each time I go, it feels like a special experience. The staff are delightful, the food is delicious and beautifully served...I love the crockery! The menu has lots of variety, and the specials change on a regular basis. My friends who have been introduced to the restaurant love it too. Thank you.

The place served Amazing food, the waiting staff were very friendly and lovely. We will definitely be booking a table when we come back to Newcastle.

A lovely family meal with visiting relatives. The staff were so hospitable and the early evening menu is great value. Particularly pleased with the way my younger daughter was accommodated - she’s 13 but with a small appetite so asked for the children’s menu. This was supplied without question (not the case in many restaurants where her age or eligibility is often challenged) and she was even able to order dessert from the main menu later when she decided she could manage one. All staff were very kind and friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant really neat and clean.

I brought four friends who had never been before and they were very impressed with the food, the service and the overall experience. They will certainly go back.

First visit to Cote Brasserie. No regrets at all. It was a beautiful and spacious restaurant in heart of Newcastle. Our waitress was lovely. All smiles, replenished water regularly and very helpful. The menu was excellent and we were spoilt for choice. When it arrived the food was outstanding. We had a fabulous evening and would highly recommend this restaurant. We will certainly visit again. Fabulous food. Will definitely be back. We've converted some friends who are now fans also. The only negative was that we booked using the voucher for a free bottle of wine, and were disappointed to learn that we couldn't have it with the set menu.

Lovely setting, good value. Set menu was great. Duck slightly chewy and fatty, cherry sauce was none descript. Desserts fab. Would return at some point. Music slightly overbearing

I took my friend to Côte Brasserie for her 30th birthday and asked for a nice Happy Birthday message on her dessert plate. Not only did they do that, but they stuck a candle in the dessert and gave us the desserts for free. It was lovely and added something special to our day.

This was my sister's second visit to Côte and it was at her recommendation that we decided to take advantage of the Mothers Day lunch offer and bring our Mother along for a treat. The menu offered enough variety to satisfy all three of us and the portions were just right for a light lunch. The food arrived promptly after ordering and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. There was a lovely atmosphere with music not too intrusive and a buzz of relaxed conversation and, even though it was very busy, the seating was arranged in such a way as to give a feeling of space and privacy. The staff were friendly as we arrived and everything seemed to run like clockwork. A quick look around the room suggested everyone else was having a similarly lovely experience. I would certainly go there again and will not hesitate to recommend it to friends for a quality, without being stuffy, dining experience. Thank you Côte!

Superb service as always. Delicious food and great coffee. We come regularly for brunch with a toddler and a baby and are always made to feel very welcome. We will be back soon!

As always, the quality of food & service is head & shoulders above other restaurants of a similar price. Much better steaks than elsewhere. Wine list is very good.

I've eaten better steak in Weatherspoons and the (OPTIONAL)12.5% service charge,over £10 on our bill is unacceptable.You are blackmailed into paying it as you do not want to be embarrassed by querying it.(This is regardless of the service you received).

Another visit and this time pan fried haddock and swordfish steak for my colleague. Excellent flavours and again great service. As usual unobtrusive. Consistency in food and service makes this a great food experience.

Always enjoy this place. Tonight however we were slightly disappointed with the drinks. First ones went back due to the ice being more water than ice and the second order coming with soda water instead of tonicl! Food as usual very good. Waiter was excellent and apologetic for the problems with the drinks.

My favourite restaurant in Newcastle. I have been every month since it opened. Today was the first time we have eaten from the al a carte menu. I had the duck, cooked to perfection, I would highly recommend it. Looking forward to next month already. Service and staff were as always, excellent.

Staff professional and friendly. Food was good, we chose off the special 3 course menu for £18.95. Good value for money. Also had a bottle of wine. Think the additional 12.5 % service charge added automatically is cheeky and high.

Having lost my sense of taste over a month ago it was nice to partially regain it during lunch today. Thank you to the kitchen for the best creme brûlée’s in the northeast.

Lovely meal, good food & drink. The only problem at the start was the air conditioning but it was sorted as it was blowing cold air at us.
