Excellent dining experience. Tasty food and good service in an appealing environment.

I always enjoy the food here, I recommend the salmon or beef tartar for starters as they are amazing and the duck for mains.

I eat regularly here but first time in the evening. Good intimate surroundings. Meal was served within 20 minutes. Good food. Just the right amount. Salmon was cooked just right. My colleague had parmentier and again well cooked. Food well presented. Waiting staff were very efficient and unobtrusive. Top experience as usual

Served brown lettuce. When the main course came I ordered steak which came with sauce the sauce pot was empty and it took five minutes to get the sauce.

Excellent Gluten Free menu - so much choice and absolutely delicious! A very busy Saturday night but staff were attentive and very friendly and not at all stressed. We’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

Friendly welcome, considerate provision for someone who needs to go gluten-free; the choice is interesting and very tempting, and the price can be extremely reasonable. Service is slightly slow, but that does allow time for conversation. I've been twice today, and had something different at each meal!

Great food fair value and excellent friendly service. A bonus is the quiet unobtrusive but good music, yes you camm actually have a conversation without shouting.

The service was good, and the ambience was very nice. The food was good, although possibly not as enjoyable as the last time I visited. The creme caramel was delicious!

February special of Boudin Noir was delicious as was the pate (as normal). Service was also excellent. This has to be some of the best food in Newcastle- better than Marco Pierre White.

I booked the table for four for my birthday after receiving an email offering free aperitifs. We were not offered the drinks - I had to ask for them twice - we had a trainee waiter and then an experienced one and then the trainee again - by the time we received the two free drinks it was after the main course and not really appropriate by then. We were overcharged for our food due to confusion over what was ordered on the set menu and the a la carte. The small portion of bread and olives had an extortionate charge. We did not feel the 12.5% service charge which was automatically included in the bill was justified.

Visited Cote on the 15th June with my mam and sister, food was average. But our waiter was very arrogant and had a bit of an attitude and not helpful at all. Don't think I will be going back.

Warm welcome , excellent food and customer service and value for money at Cote Brassiere. Restaurant is well organised and kept very clean by staff. Would like to have some French Music played such as Piaf and Zaz.

Really lovely warm welcoming restaurant- staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of choice and different pricing menus for those eating early evening. The food was delicious and well presented with enough time between courses not to feel rushed. We had 3 courses each and no complaints about anything we were served. Would definitely return again as so much more to try. Well worth the money.

Brilliant, service was excellent, the food delicious, the Creme Caramel was fab. It was my first visit, but i will definitely return, and highly recommend to my friends and family. Thanks I had a lovely evening. 😊
