Amazing food and a fantastic welcome from the staff x salad was drenched in oil so couldn't eat it but the main dish was amazing x

Great night with friends. Good food everyone had a different starter but the french onion soup was the favourite, the steak was popular for the main course, the chocolate mousse was to die for and the service was very good.

Food , surroundings and service very good, disappointed we weren't offered the complimentary rhubarb gin cocktail mentioned on website (we ate lunch specials menu)

I always enjoy the food here, I recommend the salmon or beef tartar for starters as they are amazing and the duck for mains.

Great food, nice wine and great service! We had a lovely quiet table in the area at the back so we weren't crowded and didn't have to be aware of how loud we laughed!

Food, drink, ambience and service were all fantastic we really enjoyed our evening. The only negative was the “optional” service charge of 12.5% put on the bill . Yes its optional however I would like to select the value of tip I leave which in some instances is greater than 12.5% but tagging it on the bill does give a sense of obligation whether it states optional or not to leave it on the bill and just pay it.

Friendly welcome, considerate provision for someone who needs to go gluten-free; the choice is interesting and very tempting, and the price can be extremely reasonable. Service is slightly slow, but that does allow time for conversation. I've been twice today, and had something different at each meal!

Four of us went for my birthday. The service, and food were very good as usual. Excellent menu selection. Great value for money. Love the mussels. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. This is my favourite restaurant in Newcastle.

We had a great seats in the restaurant in a booth looking into Central Arcade which I really enjoyed. The service we received was excellent, friendly and professional but not overpowering which I liked. We both chose the Duck with Lyonnaise potato as a main course and it really good following a starter we shared of mixed olives with a onion topped flatbread. The whole meal was really enjoyed and the addition of a bottle of Syrah was a wise choice ! We have been to this restaurant several times and will be returning.

Great food, good choice and service in a lovely restaurant. The food was lovely and well presented, the staff were friendly and professional and the restaurant was comfortable. The mussels in cider were delicious, as was the salmon and the apple crumble.

The Côte restaurant in Newcastle is in a good location. The layout of the tables gives the restaurant a warm, cosy,feel and boosts that typical French atmosphere. Service was friendly but a little disjointed. The food was superb. It always is in a Côte Brassiere.

Thoughtful, helpful staff. Food great choice and flavours and good value. Only minor point would be to say food could be delivered hotter to the table.

Your service was rubbish. We booked in advance but still had to wait some time to be seated. There was absolutely no eye contact from any of the staff only when he eventually came to take or order was any interaction. It appeared to us that the staff were totally disinterested in the customers. The meal was served, then the desert with not a single word from the server. If we had wanted a coffee, I believe we would have still be waiting! Also, why serve hot food on cold plates?

Côte Newcastle easily accommodated 11 adults and 3 children and having taken the booking some time in advance, we had pre ordered food which made service slick. Staff were attentive and personable and made the experience pleasant. The food was fabulous and everyone commented on the freshness of ingredients, attractive presentation and the flavoursome food. We made some beautiful wine choices too. Some within our party had not visited the restaurant before but said they’d definitely return.

Had a wonderful evening here with my partner for Valentine’s Day! Both food and service were amazing - couldn’t fault a thing! We’ll definitely be back!

I love Cote Brasserie in Newcastle. Each time I go, it feels like a special experience. The staff are delightful, the food is delicious and beautifully served...I love the crockery! The menu has lots of variety, and the specials change on a regular basis. My friends who have been introduced to the restaurant love it too. Thank you.

A lovely family meal with visiting relatives. The staff were so hospitable and the early evening menu is great value. Particularly pleased with the way my younger daughter was accommodated - she’s 13 but with a small appetite so asked for the children’s menu. This was supplied without question (not the case in many restaurants where her age or eligibility is often challenged) and she was even able to order dessert from the main menu later when she decided she could manage one. All staff were very kind and friendly, the food was delicious and the restaurant really neat and clean.

I brought four friends who had never been before and they were very impressed with the food, the service and the overall experience. They will certainly go back.

Visited Cote on the 15th June with my mam and sister, food was average. But our waiter was very arrogant and had a bit of an attitude and not helpful at all. Don't think I will be going back.

Warm welcome , excellent food and customer service and value for money at Cote Brassiere. Restaurant is well organised and kept very clean by staff. Would like to have some French Music played such as Piaf and Zaz.

First visit to Cote food was excellent staff were lovely and very helpful seating very well set out thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We would recommend Cote to our family and friends and will defiantly be coming back again.
