Staff friendly and attentive without being overbearing Good menu with a good range of choice

Great location, service and food!!! The wine was lovely and the meal was served at a reasonable speed without being intrusive or having too long between courses. Never had a bad meal in any cote !

Excellent food very pleasant staff and lovely surroundings. The restaurant had a friendly atmosphere and was busy but not noisy. We certainly will be back.

Excellent Gluten Free menu - so much choice and absolutely delicious! A very busy Saturday night but staff were attentive and very friendly and not at all stressed. We’ll definitely be coming back very soon!

My wife ordered ribeye steak,she found that there was an excessive amount of fat.She places the fat on the side of her plate. She brought the amount of fat to the attention of the waiter,who informed her that as the steak was ribeye had fat. We have eaten ribeye steaks in the past,both restaurant and supermarket bought.Our companions commented that the fat on the side of the plate looked disgusting. My wife said she enjoyed the steak,but the fat put here off!

Just a great place to eat and relax... we love it!! We have tried breakfast and luncg too and just as great. For sure be back . Staff are great as is the food

Beautiful meal. My friend ordered the fish pie but it was a little on the small side. Greeting could have been more friendly at the Newcastle restaurant.

Lovely food, good choice on the lunchtime specials menu, realistically priced. Clean comfortable dining area. Waiters/waitress a bit dour, a smile would have been nice, they were quite abrupt.

Visited with a group of 8 friends from Scotland. We were waited on by Tom 'from Byker' who was incredibly attentive. The food was very good, I had been recommended the fish stew and it was delicious. There was quite a lot of choice on the menu so everyone found something suitable. We all had a wonderful evening and I'll definitely be going back. (Lisa and friends from Callander)

Always lovely food, I love going here for breakfast as every dish I have is cooked to perfection. Lovely servers as well Had a great steak here too and the chocolate mouse is to die for, It’s impossible to stop going

First experience of the restaurant was a lovely surprise. A calm, chilled atmosphere in a tastefully decorated restaurant. Very polite staff, who didn’t rush you. Food was very well presented and tasty and definitely worth paying another visit in the near future.

Lovely meal as usual. The staff here are always very friendly and provide good service. There was a bit of a hiccup with deserts this time, but as they say "everyone has the occasional problem, but its how you deal with it". We were extremely happy with the way they sorted the problem. Will definitely be back. Great food, lovely atmosphere, great staff and good value.

Four of us went for my birthday. The service, and food were very good as usual. Excellent menu selection. Great value for money. Love the mussels. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks. This is my favourite restaurant in Newcastle.

We had a great seats in the restaurant in a booth looking into Central Arcade which I really enjoyed. The service we received was excellent, friendly and professional but not overpowering which I liked. We both chose the Duck with Lyonnaise potato as a main course and it really good following a starter we shared of mixed olives with a onion topped flatbread. The whole meal was really enjoyed and the addition of a bottle of Syrah was a wise choice ! We have been to this restaurant several times and will be returning.

Fantastic food in lovely surroundings. Staff are very pleasant and as one of our party is dairy intolerant, they couldn't be more helpful. Definitely would recommend a visit.

Absolute perfection. Loved it here. Great friendly staff and lovely seating. Gorgeous food and offer a gluten free menu . Couldn't fault a thing. It's how a restaurant should be. We'll be back to Cote Newcastle soon!

As always every aspect of dining at Cote is perfect - so much choice. My husband and i have been to.many Cote restaurants and they never disappoint.

Superb service which was friendly and efficient - the staff in Newcastle are to be commended. The food was delicious, the ambience pleasant. There’s little more to one can say!

Breakfast was lovely, especially when compared to the Premier Inn the day before !!

Great food, good choice and service in a lovely restaurant. The food was lovely and well presented, the staff were friendly and professional and the restaurant was comfortable. The mussels in cider were delicious, as was the salmon and the apple crumble.

Food good but service very slow. One hour fifty minutes for two courses. We were going to have dessert and coffee but gave up waiting. Had to go to the bar to ask for the bill.

Good food , attentive service. One waiter went above and beyond when one of the party could not get a coffee as the machine was out if order, He went to Starbucks next door! Great cystomer service.

Another lovely meal at Cote. Never disappointed plus a lovely smooth Syrah. Looking forward to my next visit.

We arrived here for breakfast and enjoyed it so much we came back for Tea. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the menu was fabulous and for the feast we had on both occasions you could not fault the price. We had booked on the complimentary wine deal but wanted to eat from the set menu, however since only one guest was drinking wine they generously served a large glass free of charge!! With the lovely surroundings, great staff and fabulous food, I don’t know why you would eat any where else. One very happy Birthday girl.

Pork belly was best I’ve had it was delicious . All around great dining experience the staff were very attentive. Will definitely go again in the near future.

As always, lovely food and great service from polite , respectful staff. The only thing I personally am not keen on is the 12.5% service charge added to the bill. We do tip but don't like to be told how much.....never the less we will be back.

Food very good value for money with generally better than average service.Wide range of menu options whatever time of day you visit. We enjoy Cote a lot and always seek out the chain when in London

Excellent service and meal. This was our first visit to Cote but it won’t be our last. Went for pre theatre meal so was a bit concerned about time however I needn’t have worried service was quick but not rushed.
