This was our first visit to Côte and really enjoyed our pre theatre dinner. The ambience was perfect, service first class - not rushed and staff helpful and friendly. The menu was extensive and perfect for all tastes and very tasty. The drinks menu was varied and we can certainly recommend the rhubarb martini 😊 We will definitely be back and will certainly recommend Côte to friends and family.

Good restaurant - but although the food is good - the portions are very small - we left the restaurant wanting more! We had house wine which was good. Also the staff are friendly but a bit too much -if anything was wrong I would tell them - don't appreciate being interrupted mid meal to ask if it's ok

I went there with my daughter and we really enjoyed the experience Lovely friendly staff. The Food was excellent and the ambiance was perfect. Definitely worth a visit

Service was timely and unobtrusive. My guest and I could enjoy a leisurely reunion. The food we had was fine. The fougasse I had was much more authentic than your alleged pissaladiere which bears scant resemblance to that which I’ve often enjoyed in Nice We enjoyed the lunch and the experience. The building and surroundings impressed my lunch guest who is based in the south.More impressive say than Côte in Richmond (Surrey)

The table we booked was ready for us at the booked time. Our orders were taken promptly, and executed in around 25 minutes for main courses. We were on our way to the matinee at the nearby Theatre Royal, and had plenty time for a very nice coffee after.

Had an excellent meal on Sunday lunch time, starter steak tartar,belly pork and chocolate mousse. Great service from friendly staff, I have been here many times and it is always great

The Food today was not up to the usual standard, maybe because it was a busy Mother's Day. However, I did have a dreadful experience in the Loo while using my Stoma Bag, The Light went out, without any emergency light coming on. The Loo became "Pitch Black" and whilst trying to get my Phone to shred some light an inadvertent mess ensured. After some time the Light came back on. It became a totally distressing event which spoilt the day completely. - It isn't good enough at all.

Lovely ambience! Had a minor complaint about one of the dishes. The staff sorted it beyond my expectations and made the experience very pleasant. The Duck main was fantastic! Will definitely visit again.

Lovely restaurant in a prime central Newcastle position. We were there on a Sunday evening for a birthday celebration and it was our first visit. We all agreed that we loved it & would definitely go again ! The restaurant was quiet but pleasantly busy for an early evening.

Excellent food and service . We will definitely return. Works very well pre theatre and very good value for money especially with the early evening menu.

Excellent breakfast. All food was cooked perfectly and well presented . This must be the fifth different Cote we have visited and each one of them has brilliant staff who are pleasant and friendly.

As ever, a great choice for dinner. Good/wide range of food, well-presented & cmpetitively priced, buzzy atmosphere. Can't fault it, and will definitely be back soon

Great food, nice wine and great service! We had a lovely quiet table in the area at the back so we weren't crowded and didn't have to be aware of how loud we laughed!

As always the set menu at lunch time was super. Very good service and very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone. It's well worth a visit either as a couple or with friends.

A real classy restaurant in the centre of Newcastle.The place has a very relaxed atmosphere with nice background music comfortable seating and very pleasant attentive staff. Prices are very reasonable simply highly recommended.

Service and food excellent as ever. My son had a seizure in the restaurant and the staff were so helpful and kind. Please pass on our thanks and let them now that Jack has recovered well.

Gorgeous food and friendly staff will definitely return! Delay to one of our mains however the manager realised this straight away and rectified this for us.

Greated by a lovely maître d' Atmospherical, similar to Edinburgh, West Bridgeford and York. Nevertheless they all have a different charm. You simply cannot go wrong with Côte. All brassiere were attentive, kind and friendly. Food cooked to perfection! Table service exemplary!

We visit the newcastle restaurant once a month and have always enjoyed the quality of food and service. We will continue to visit. Thank you for your consistent professional service and food quality.

Choice of food was amazing. All tasted amazing. The red wine was amazing. Loved the whole experience. Only one small problem - one of us ordered (there were three of us) a desert - we had to remind the waiter three times & it took 30 minutes to arrive. We had all finished our coffees by the time it arrived. However, we are all happy to make a return visit.

Good but not great good food and quite high quality it's a chain but nothing special,a birthday meal with a free drink worth 4.95 but had to order off a la carte not much of an offer

Food, drink, ambience and service were all fantastic we really enjoyed our evening. The only negative was the “optional” service charge of 12.5% put on the bill . Yes its optional however I would like to select the value of tip I leave which in some instances is greater than 12.5% but tagging it on the bill does give a sense of obligation whether it states optional or not to leave it on the bill and just pay it.

Would have preferred booth downstairs - upstairs lacked atmosphere of downstairs . Food tasty , nicely served and pleasant service from Andrew Prefer to give cash tip directly and decide amount rather than pay the 12 and half per cent service charge .
