Great pre theatre menu and quality French house White Wine.

Really enjoyed the experience. Great food and drink with excellent service and ambiance at cote Newcastle.

Staff as ever welcoming and knowledgeable even though it was busy we still got top service

Great reception,started with crab mayonaise to share then chateaubriand,cooked to perfection. Finished with creme caramel and tarte 're citrus also negronis. The whole experience was excellent Possibly the best meal we have had in Newcastle

A fabulous brunch selection which lasts until 1 pm and so reasonably priced. Well done to all at Cote for a top class experience in dining and hospitality.

Really enjoyed the food at Cote Brasserie Newcastle. The fixed price menu offers a good choice and I like the portion sizes which are not too big. The first waiter we had at the start of our meal was excellent but when he was replaced half way through our meal, the standard of service from the new waiter was very poor. I was also disappointed that the wine we chose was out of stock considering that the wine list is not that extensive. So overall a mixed experience.

They did turn the music down after I asked, but I really don’t know why there has to be so much music- it just means people talk ever more loudly and then overall noise levels can be unbearable,

Food was lovely & service good although we did have a bit of time to wait between our starters & main courses being served which wasn’t a problem but could have been if we had not given ourselves plenty of time before attending the theatre. The food was delicious and service good would go again

The food was outstanding and the staff were amazing,we just happen to mention it was our 24th wedding anniversary and the lovely lady came back with a bottle of bubbly to congratulate us both.thank you everybody at cote for a wonderful evening.

Clean plates all around. Lovely food. Great ,light ,airy atmosphere and at 2.30pm not too busy. However one of the party of 8 waited quite a few minutes for her main course after everyone else had been served. When the food server arrived he had to wait a few minutes to serve some of the meals as the waiter, who lifts the food off the tray, was busy with another party paying their bill.

Food was great and the waiter was very patient (you know what it’s like when you haven’t seen your friend for a while). Did have to ask for the vegi menu but no major issue there. Will definitely go again

It has to be said, older folk tend to consume less in a meal so quality over quantity is the priority. This is what we hoped for in our choices from the menu and Cote did not disappoint, well done to the kitchen, a fabulous result.

Very enjoyable pre theatre dinner. Atmosphere busy, service fine, not so sure about the optional service charge added to bill which you inevitably pay. I wish restaurants were upfront about who gets this.

Lovely restaurant for brunch, great place, nice a quiet in the morning

Although we ordered only a light breakfast, staff attended to our table with the same attention to hospitality we’ve experienced previously at other mealtimes. Guide Dog puppy Katie also received a bowl of water along with a new doggie toy. Thank you staff for making us all feel so welcome and for top quality food and service.

Very nice atmosphere an lovely food. Only slight issue is that they add 12.5% service charge on which is a bit unexpected. I prefer to leave my own tip.
