Côte Peterborough

We came to celebrate my mum's birthday. Delicious food and fantastic, attentive staff. Thank you all, particularly Agy. I can recommend the seabass and the pork belly. We'll be back soon to try more dishes. ☺

Nice ambiance friendly service as we usually find at Cote Peterborough. Meals were tasty and the bonus of the offer of a free bottle of wine, nice evening out

Our favourite place to eat. Great service with polite and informative staff, tasty food, always served hot, good ambience, clean restaurant, what more could you want.

As always excellent Côte experience. They were a little short staffed but that did not worry us. Beuof bourguinan was excellent. Possibly black pudding in starter slightly disappointing.

Had a late lunch, restaurant was virtually empty, set and a la Carte menus covers all tastes, staff were attentive, we ate of a la Carte and November specials, food all tasty. The food standard same as all Cote restaurants we have been to.

Lovely food, good service and not too badly priced. The menu had plenty to pick from and before 7pm there’s also an early bird menu that is cheaper. We stuck to the main menu and the November specials. Will definitely be coming back again

Great welcome and friendly staff. Food lovely and lots of choice. Even my teenage girls love going there. Suprise free champagne for the birthday grandad. Would recommend a visit.

The restaurant was quite busy and we were attended to very quickly and seated down A young lady came and took our drink order and food order which was cooked to perfection on each course we were having the lunch special of 3 courses which is great value for money

Early evening meal before a theatre visit: We advised our waitress as we were seated. Service was excellent - prompt but not rushed in any way. Good menu range and food of excellent quality.

This was the first time I had been to the restaurant but chanced it after seeing good reviews. I booked the table for a business meeting so it was important that we had great service and good food, I wasn't left disappointed as our waitress was spot on and the food was lovely, I would definitely go back with clients and would recommend to all!

Food okay, not amazing. Our biggest grip was them charging £7 service charge automatically added onto the bill when we had to wait ages for any service!

The quality of the food was excellent as usual my french onion soup was great n Pam squid on the money !! The olivers where bitter though !!! Staff where good .I thought I had a free bottle of wine but was told not on a Saturday night !!!

There is a good variety of food which is tasty. Also have great value lunchtime offers. The staff are friendly and happy to offer advice on food. I will certainly be back!

We enjoy the experience every time we go, my food selection on my main course the pork confit was not as good as choices I have made in the past. The service was good but took a time to obtain the bill as it became busier.

Went to celebrate my birthday. Received Kir royals for each of us . The food was its usual high standard. The staff even sang happy birthday and gave me a special desert - lovely evening

Lovely food and setting. Staff were very friendly. The only thing that slightly spoilt it was the long wait for our dessert order to be taken, desserts to arrive and then an even longer wait to get the bill. I would go again though as the food was excellent.

Excellent food at reasonable prices, and attentive and friendly staff - what more can one ask for. The restaurant was attractively decorated, warm and felt very welcoming.

Excellent food, good choices. Lovely staff. Good value for money. Made to feel welcome on arrival. Service was fine considering how busy they were. Not so keen on the 12.5% service charge added to the bill, as I feel 10% tip is reasonable.

Service was slow and my food was only warm rather than hot. The service apart from being slow was attentive. This will not put us off going again as we have been on 3 previous occasions without any issues.

Great service, great food. The stairs was awfully steep to get upstairs, which was quite daunting to walk up, as worried we'd fall down it. Shame you have to pay extra to have vegetables. Other than that, a delicious meal.

Went here for our 37th wedding anniversary, it was our 2nd visit. The staff we found very attentive and what was really nice was the inter action between the staff and customers. Really refreshing to experience after other not so nice ones. Service was spot on the food was lovely, well presented and best of all it was hot on arrival at our table. More than worth a try.

As always, superb service, great food, I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent restaurant. The food is also the best value for money that I have come across, and a rewards scheme that really works. Complimentary wine this evening, unheard of elsewhere! Manager and staff can't do enough for their customers, can't wait to return next month.

Very good experience once again. We asked to move tables though, the original location was a little too noisy, it’s replacement was ideal. The whole meal was very good.

Always an excellent meal. Probably the best affordable food in town. Had not previously been upstairs, what a treat by the windows looking out onto the church - felt like Oxford (for a moment!). Remember to book as it was full.

I had my voucher for free bottle of wine. They did add the wine to the bill, however as soon as I pointed this out they took this off. Very enjoyable meal

Lovely meal for four from the set menu. We were there for a birthday celebration, and were surprised and delighted when the birthday boy was given a bubbly drink on arrival. The only downside with the meal - the mushroom soup had run out. However the situation was redeemed by the waitress offering the French onion soup instead. Friendly and polite staff and good food always, plus a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

We were welcomed warmly,served promptly but not hurried.Our food was invitingly presented and was as delicious as it looked and smelled very French.We wil be back very soon.

Excellent service with high quality food Catered well for all ages at our family occasion, but being seated at a booth was not the best idea with younger ones needing the bathroom during the meal.
