Delightful lunch in relaxing surroundings. The young lady who served us was very informed about the menu. She was attentive and friendly. We were very happy with the table we were offered. Altogether a very happy experience and a great place to meet up with friends.

Food quality was excellent and staff service satisfactory but I requested a quiet area in advance as my dad has hearing problems and we were placed in the central dining area with large groups all around us so conversation was difficult. For the second time we were billed for the 'complimentary' drinks that were offered (£21) which had I not checked the bill, my dad would have paid for. He did pay for them on the previous occasion but I shall be looking at the bills carefully in future!

A lovely meal, I had Ribye Steak, perfectly done medium/rare and my wife had Haddock which was also beautifully cooked, moist and tender. I also had an interesting sweet, Pain Perdu which was delicious. Our free French Martinis were done straight away and were much appreciated. The only negative was that these Martinis were originall charged for in error although this was quickly corrected.

Hi would have got full marks except was very hot in the restaurant and starter order wasn’t ordered so had to wait 45 mins. However, the food was absolutely superb and the wine! Thanks for the free drink for us to celebrate my wife’s birthday

For the second visit in a row we ordered wine from the list to be told it was unavailable but were not allowed a glass of a near alternative at the same price. The bottle of white wine we ordered was not chilled. The waitress was only marginally civil; a smile would greatly assist. Finally, it annoys me when a service charge, albeit marked as ‘optional’, is hidden in the bill.

We arrived at 9 pm and there was only one waitress serving the front, Fortunately she worked very hard. Ribeye outstanding, chips crispy and hot and tomato and onion salad delicious. We asked for the lights to be turned down and they were. Difficult to fault really.Thank you Cote- the only really decent offer in Salisbury.

Arrived late but staff were happy to cater for us. Pleasant meal with a nice glass of wine, service was fair, we ended up having a number of different staff catering for our needs as opposed to a designated staff member. All in all and enjoyable experience on a Friday early evening.

A nice range of choices on the menu. This time we opted for the smoked salmon starter and the Breton Chicken. Could not fault either the service or the food, both were second to none and I'd expect nothing less from our local Cote

Great food and venue as always. Staff very helpful and friendly. It's always good to see Alex who now seems to be the face of Cote in the ever changing faces of your staff. However, they're always well chosen and very pleasant and lunching at the Cote is always a treat to be looked forward to.

We arrived early and our table was not available, but we were quickly seated at the entrance and a bottle of wine was soon on our table. The waiter could not have been more welcoming. When our booked table was free we were moved to it with our wine, and glasses, without a fuss and once there we enjoyed a very good dinner. I strongly recommend Cote in Salisbury.

Good food and service , do not agree with the practice of adding nearly £20 service charge to the bill without asking, this smacks of sharp practice!

As ever, it has been a delight to dine at Cote in Salisbury. The food is excellent and the staff cannot be faulted. Always polite and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

10 out of 10 - well done! The service from everyone was excellent and we were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in. The manager who helped us both choose and serve our wine was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was soooo tasty and the portion sizes were generous and just right. Our waiters were professional and smiley and helpful. We asked for a little extra time between courses and this was politely accommodated for us with no problems at all. Everything was just how we wanted it and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend, thank you for a lovely evening.

Initial service was not not very professional but we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the food . Waiting staff then seemed to change and was very good. Why are the star ratings out of 6 stars rather than 5 which I think is more universally understood

We are regular patrons of Cote, mainly in Salisbury, but also elsewhere when opportunity arises. We recognise a consistency of performance and tend to seek you out when visiting somewhere new.

Cote provides an excellent meal, great atmosphere and attentive staff.

In the Salisbury restaurant we were lucky to be sitting where waiters were passing regularly but there are some blind and noisy places.

A busy night (which we love), but without Alex at front of house this restaurant is a different place! We didn't feel we got the usual attention and had to ask for water 3 or 4 times. The steak frites steak was not the best, have you changed supplier. This is a staple we usually love but found it disappointing. The Duck Confit was lovely as were the puds and wine.
