My daughter and I enjoyed our lunch very much indeed - we were served well and promptly, despite the fact that we were at peak period, and many would-be diners were being turned away (nicely, I should add). The food was delicious, especially my daughter's creme brulee.
Superb service and food. We had an issue with our mains which was sorted immediately. Have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal yet. Staff are fab
I had tasty food and it is definitely good value - we had the two course set menu for £11.90. we would definitely visit again.
We went here with a friend for my birthday and wow did they treat me well Dan greeted us and then Lailai brought out some complimentary Kir Royales singing Happy Birthday which was so nice The meal was delicious and at the end Lailai brought us a chocolate pudding with a candle and another rendition of Happy Birthday - it was just lovely and then Dan came over to make sure everything was OK I cannot recommend this Cote enough- just a wonderful evening Dr Trevor P Rees
Warm welcome, friendly staff, food up-to the usual standard. Loved the table napkins, added some elegance to the evening much better than the standard paper ones at other venues
I was VERY disappointed in the bread, it was not warm or fresh enough. The bread is one of my favourite things at Cote, and I should have sent it back, but we had already eaten a piece each and so frankly were embarrassed to send it back. In addition I asked to upgrade the wine, which I have been allowed to do in other branches, they said 'no' and also didn't explain that the offer required one of us to order off the a la carte menu until after they'd both opened the wine and taken our order. They did accept it was their error but it was quite an embarrassment to have to have the discussion.
Nice atmosphere, good food but the waitress was a little TOO attentive - constantly asking if everything is ok when we were in conversation was interrupting and too much - you only need to ask once!
Staff were lovely but restaurant cannot provide nutritional info except allegens. As a T1 diabetic I need to know the carb and fat content. If the chef doesn’t know what’s in his food what kind of chef is he? It made me ill. Thanks won’t be bothering with this entire chain. Everyone else provides the info so why not this one?
First time we have breakfasted @ Cote. Up to usual high standard of food cooked well. The formule breakfast deal is good value. Great to watch the world go by from the wide windows.
We received a cheerful welcome and the waitress was helpful and delivered a prompt, friendly service. The bill came without us having to ask. The food was as always consistently good.
Very relaxing atomosphere and the staff were very helpful. Food was great and served quickly as we were a larger table and might have had to wait longer.
We were greeted again with Smiles from all the staff and Dan made us particularly welcome and took time to come over and talk to us. It was also very noticeable that he made every guest very special and as we were sitting near to the door he made sure that anyone who entered was very welcome and there was never any wait to be seated Lailai also came to say hello and our delightful waitress ? Lauder from Hungary was excellent and was simply charming - a great evening
Excellent meal and we were so lucky to see one of the old managers Paula who was standing in for that night only -we had a great meal
Great personal service, we know it’s a chain but Côte never feels like it is. Superb food, superb service. Always happy to return, whichever branch it is
Met my sister and her daughter for a meal. Cote, as usual, had excellent food and wine. Staff were helpful and a v good ambience.
Enjoyed a great meal. The staff were very helpful and made the whole experience one to remember. We will both definitely return to the restaurant on another occasion.
Excellent food and service. Both the fish and meat dishes are well prepared and match up to any Paris bistro. The appetizers are also top notch.
As ever, great food choices on the deals menu. St Paul's cote is the perfect location on a Saturday afternoon where there's enough atmosphere without feeling noisy and overcrowded. And as a result staff were friendly and attentive but without us feeling rushed.
Great value, perfect location and friendly service!! Food always seems to be of a good standard and well cooked and presented and the deal to have juice and a bit drink included is very reasonably priced!
Great food and quick service by staff - loved it. Would certainly recommend the St Pauls branch to a friend and would certainly like to visit for dinner soon.
Excellent food, very well priced. Service was quick and efficient. Overall a very good experience and would be happy to visit Cote at St Pauls again.
Not enough staff on duty hence really poor service and long wait times. In this particular Cote, it is starting to look like a well worn formula that could do with fresh creativity and ideas.
Was a good evening , great value for money and good choice of food on the early evening special menu. Would go back.service was good
Excellent service, happy staff, great menus. Plenty of choice. The house wine is good . The garlic bread is presented in a flat lattice design and is scrumptious.
No green tea and no decaf coffee - had to settle for tap water. Waitress was very helpful though - food was adequate - overall not best experience
Service was rather slow & rather impersonal. Food good as always at a Cote restaurant but this location not as attentive to guests as other locations.
Excellent as usual. St Pauls in full view. Friendly staff and the usual Cote menu. Waiter also very knowledgable about wine which surprise us both.
Good value for an affordable price. Definitely to be reconsidered if around again. Staff absolutely friendly. Thank you and we will see you again next time.
6. very good experience, attentive and humours waiters. Good food, they even made up a dish for me that was usually on the menu, but not on the menu yesterday.
Food was very good but service was poor. Firstly we were seated downstairs alone when there looked to be space upstairs and then the service was extremist slow. We kept having to reorder drinks that didn't show up and the bill took ages to come and pay. The restaurant wasn't even busy and there looked to be plenty of staff who did seem to be rushed off there feet so it was very odd.
Lovely food, great service. Nice ambiance in a lovely location. The steak was cooked perfectly and chicken was succulent. A really good place for lunch and so near to st Paul's and Tate modern.
Very attentive and polite staff. The food was very good and it's an excellent location. I eat in Cote regularly and one of the things I like about it is the consistency of the quality of the food. You know exactly what you are going to get
This was the first time I had eaten at Cote St Pauls, and I wasn't disappointed. Superb food. Excellent service. We had a really lovely lunch and would definitely return.
The service at Cote Brasserie - St Paul's was quite slow and not very attentive but the food was good and came reasonably quickly for a working lunch.
The chicken special for the month was excellent - very tasty. Excellent friendly service and good value in a convenient location. Great all round value.
Great food. Friendly service. Made my friends birthday special. Brought out a candle on desert with a happy birthday message. Definitely recommend. Will be back !
Generally good, We enjoyed the lunch. It was better if I choose the ground floor table, because we can enjoy the outside view and believe much better than the table in the basement.
Good as good as ever, have made many visits to Cote around London, Reading, Ocford and Eton. Staff at Cote St Paul’s very nice, friendly and helpful.
This is the latest of several visits to Cote at St Paul. It's normally good which is why we go back but today it was over an hour before food arrived and then chips were just warm as were the steaks. The manager helped by not charging us for the meals and so we will probably go back, hoping this was a blip but what was going on in the kitchen? I am booked in at Cote St Katherine Docks next week so I hope that is up to the usual standard.
Had a tuna Nicose salad for lunch and the food was very good, however, we waited nearly an hour for food which is too long for a business lunch. To his credit, the manager gave us a free round of drinks while we waited.
We had lunch in Cote. The manager Dan is very professional, customer focused and friendly as was our fabulous waiter. I had the Herb Roasted Chicken Supreme (herb roasted chicken supreme wrapped in French streaky bacon, served with Jerusalem artichokes and a creamy mustard sauce) and my colleagues both had the Fish Parmentier (Cod, haddock, prawn and salmon in a creamy white wine and leek sauce, topped with mash potato and Gruyère cheese) both meals were absolutely delicious and would highly recommend a visit to the St Paul's branch of Cote. 10/10 for both quality of food and service!
We had a good lunch in glorious late September sunshine overlooking St Paul's. Staff were attentive and friendly. I'd recommend this lunch spot to anyone.
It was absolute adequate for a business lunch. Unfortunately we were advised incorrectly and ordered more sides than we needed to which was a shame. The calamari starter is huge!
I have been a fan of Cote for many years. The London Bridge branch superbly located on the banks of the Thames is virtually our firm, Anthony Gold's, office canteen. Cote is always reliable and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. St Pauls branch is just as good.
good food, good wine, great service. steak tartare followed by extremely well cooked (rare) sirloin steak! my guest very much enjoyed prawn gratinee followed by the duck breast (medium rare). highly recommended with a bottle of claret.
Good quality of food, portions could have been bigger for what you pay but the service was great. Would eat here again and would recommend unless you're very hungry and trying to keep costs low.
Great atmosphere - for meeting friends or a cosy meal 'a deux'. Friendly staff / good service. Excellent food with a decent wine list. We go there regularly after concerts at the Barbican, a short walk away, and have never been disappointed.
Must have been sat in the wrong place. Overall disappointed. Service was inattentive and sloppy. Seemed to wait an age for starters; when they did arrive they didn't arrive at the same time. Thought it would have been easy, the one we had to wait for was pate! Go figure. Water never arrived. Will not be going back in a hurray. Only good thing was the company I was with. Also tried to over charge me. Bad karma people. Shame.
Lighting upstairs was too low so sat downstairs which was much better. Food and service were good and as always good value for money. Would eat there again.
As always at Cote Brasserie we had a great meal, good service and all in all a good night out. I would recommend Cote to everyone
