Great customer service and staff, with a warm and friendly atmosphere, tasty well cooked food and such good value. ! The young gentleman who was the manager last night ((14th) was professional and charming,so lucky to have this restaurant in out town ,hope it remains open over these difficult times.

Unfortunately, and happens often my wife’s fillet steak over cooked, and my duck was supposed to be cooked pink but again was also over cooked. We are very regular and occasionally we do comment about food being over cooked but have stopped making comments, have decided that your chefs just don’t understand how to cook different degrees of cooking temperatures

Place was busy, good atmosphere, as usual there it sometimes took a little time to attract waiting staff attention. I had the chicken supreme on the specials menu. It was a little tough in places around edges and the mustard sauce lacked any flavour. My friend had the swordfish which she enjoyed.

Cote never lets you down - you know what to expect and that is what you get. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The portions are a little on the small side - esp the moules and the dishes on the pre 7 00 menu (except for the Parmentier). But it's always good

We were celebrating my birthday and enjoyed a very nice meal at Cote in Teddington. We had to wait a little while and then only one starter arrived but eventually the second one came. The staff looked after us very well we enjoyed the meal.

Had lunch from 1215 on a busy Rugby International Sunday. Food was very good but certain elements of service were sub-standard. We had to wait for 15 minutes before waitress arrived to take our order and we had to ask 3 times for the bill before that was presented. Not good enough: when will restaurants realise that many people have deadlines to meet after a meal - particularly when the state of the meal has been delayed?

We waited a long time before being acknowledged, the table was not set, the meal was good, service was good but not the usual standard we have come to expect. There seemed to be a dearth of staff. Such a shame that our neighbours left before they were seated and went to another restaurant, as they don’t go to Cote often and I feel they won’t choose Cote again. Sorry to write this review.

We have visited Cote Teddington many time over the years and our visit yesterday was disappointing. Upon entry we were greeted by the waiter in a dismissive way. He barely looked at us and was a bit offish. I was surprised to see that the restaurant had only 12 guests, including us, and the atmosphere was a little sad. We had booked with the Blood orange complementary Martini, which we had to ask for. When it arrived it did not have the blood orange in it, I asked why and was told that they had been so busy that they had run out... I was surprised at this, as I stated before, there were only 12 diners in the restaurant. I asked if the orange could be provided and he said "shall I go to the shops and get some" to which I said, OK Yes please. He was being sarcastic as the blood orange never appeared. when I visited the rest rooms, there were 4 people sitting in the downstairs dining area, with the lights out =, all sitting on different corners all laid back and on there phones. It looked really odd and summed up my experience. I worry for the restaurant, when we left at about 1730 on Saturday evening, the restaurant was still empty...

Although the food is always good I was not impressed with the service, there was only two members of staff with a fairly busy restaurant. We went in at 18.30 at 20.50 we left without ordering the dessert just because we waited to long, and I could see some other people getting impatient.

I had a breakfast early yesterday morning and I asked for the poached eggs to be runny but the were not. As my friend who I was with was on a short time frame I was unable to ask for them to be redone When on my own I complained to the manager who was helpful and offered me a free cappuccino. I thanked him and left I am having lunch today in a different Cote with a friend of mine and tomorrow out with friends again to Cote. So you see this is one of my and my wife’s favourite restaurants. This is after many years an unfortunate incident. Had this happened on my visit, that w

Friendly service, and great set menu food. They are horribly under-staffed though, poor 2 waiters serving the whole restaurant which was pretty full.

Cote usually guarantees a five star dinner, whatever the evening and we are very lucky to have such a consistently good one in Teddington. We went for the valentine's menu on the Saturday evening. Food selection and quality was top notch, however, whether our waitress provided probably the worst service we have had there ever. Took forever to write our (very basic) order, spoke over a colleague when at our table, had no clue of the menu or what and wasn't available or what we had or hadn't received drinks wise and overall no etiquette. We were also extremely disappointed to be told they had run out of the valentines sharing dessert platter, when the special menu only ran a select few nights. The manager was excellent and sorted a very close replacement after sharing our disappointment. However, it would've been nice to have been informed of this before ordering.

I visited Côte for Valentine’s Day and the food was unbelievable! The only downfall was that with my main course they forget the side of spinach. Later on in the evening we found out that the same thing happened to the table next to us and they received £40 off their bill however we did not. I thought this was unfair as after speaking to the table next to us the only issue they had was the side of spinach missing. Although I think £40 off a bill for just forgetting a side order is excessive it would have been nice to be treated the same as the other tables.

Excellent meal on St Valentines day. Good set menu but plenty of choice. Pairing the courses with wine was an interesting way of complimenting the food. The sharing platter for desert was sublime! Well dkne!

Service today was dreadful. So slow. Our table was at 1pm and we were on time. We ordered promptly. Starter was a bit slow but it was an hour and half before main course arrived. Just not good enough. Cote Teddington is normally reliable but not today. Apparently there had been problems in kitchen and service during breakfast and they were unexpectedly busy - Valentine's Day? - you would hope/ expect to be busy all day. Someone in management clearly not on the ball and they need to improve to keep regular customers support.

Service was very slow and one of our party never got her starter despite asking 3 times. Food was delicious as always! Your seasonal scallop dish was sublime and the roasted pork belly was the best I'd ever had it from yourselves (and any where else). Food fantastic but let down by mediocre service and slowness to get food out. Team are lovely but we're very rushed and weren't they usual chirpy selves. thank you and I will still keep coming back, the food is too good not to.

From entering we was greeted with a friendly smile and seated where we liked. The decor is very nice and relaxing. They do two set menu's one is only served up to 7pm and the other is till close. They both have great dishes to choose from, and are reasonable priced. Or you could order from the main menu. Drinks are reasonably priced also. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very good, nice size portions, and very tasty. There is a service charge of 12.5% which I think is fair. So overall a lovely place to eat.
