A great atmosphere, beautiful food and drinks. Good value for money and a large choice of mouthwatering dishes cooked very well. Very friendly service. Excellent baguette!

Very enjoyable with excellent service. I like small portiions so stayed with two starters. The rest of my family had a full course meal and enjoyed it. the waiter was very helpful in helping with the wine choice. If I had something to moan about it would be the noise in the restaurant.

Good waiter service,dined off the early evening menu, which gave us the choices we wanted. Being really pinickity there was a delay between starter and main course which was just about acceptable. Really was a nice early evening meal for two for just under £50

Had to leave as you left us waiting outside as you did many other people. Such a shame to treat a loyal customer like that and to ruin what should have been a lovely family meal

Having only recently discovered that there was a French restaurant chain in the area, I was eager to try it. My brother and I enjoyed a meal at the Welwyn Garden restaurant, on a Tuesday night, so it wasn't mega busy. I chose the Warm Roquefort Salad...have never tried this dish before...it was tasty, but the Roquefort dressing was tepid rather than warm...maybe it's supposed to be like that, I don't know. My main course of Moules Frites was delicious, and plenty hot enough. My brother chose the Chicken Liver Pate, and a main course of Roast Duck. He enjoyed both. We both opted for Creme Brule as dessert...delicious, and freshly torched ! The staff were friendly and efficient, there was a nice atmosphere...the only thing I did feel was that the tables for two are a bit small. There wasn't an inch to spare, by the time our dinner plates, my bowl for moules shells and finger bowl were added, in additon to drinks glasses. I also do not like the policy of automatically adding on the 12.5% tip to the bill. I always tip for good service anyway...I would like to think that the majority of people do. I think this addition is cheeky, and unnecessary. Overall I was impressed with the meal and the restaurant, and would go again, but it would probably have to be for a special occasion, as it is a little expensive for my pocket.

Great time at Cote Welwyn tonight. As always the food was perfect, they brought out the meal for our hungry little tot very quickly and we enjoyed it so much that we made another booking for tomorrow:)

A great breakfast with friends. A simple breakfast menu, that allows one order to be made and we get on with our socialising. Good service too.

Honestly I chose the Cote because of the choice available on the menu. The quality was taken for granted and did not disappoint the service was also up to standard so why only 5 stars come on no one gets six stars.

Good all round experience; food, staff and ambience were all good. Have been to this restaurant several times and will continue to do so. We've also recommended it to several of our friends.

Delicious as usual. Our favourite place to enjoy a tasty breakfast in a friendly relaxing atmosphere. There is a large selection on the menu to choose from & a variety of cooked breakfast deal available. I opted for the vegetarian meal & the flavours & ingredients put together were delicious. My husband had a tradition cooked breakfast, which he also thoroughly enjoyed. You can also just enjoy a hot drink & pastry if you don’t want a big meal.

Lovely surprise to get a birthday bottle of fizz waiting for us!

Service was really poor. I stood at the door for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, we were then told we would need to sit upstairs even though I noted on my booking we would have a pushchair. The woman who allocated our table was pretty rude. We then had to ask for our order to be taken. Food was nice but I wouldn't go back due to the poor service.

We were warmly welcomed and served by a very friendly and helpful young waiter. Food was excellent and restaurant was ambient and comfortable. We shall return.

Main course was ordered incorrect. Quickly resolved-but my friend and I had to eat at separate times sadly. As only two of us was weird but as I say quickly resolved.

The meal was very enjoyable and the waitress who looked after us was very good and helpful I have had many evening meals in Cote and always return

Hi I attended yesterday with my friend. When booking, I mentioned that it is her birthday and that all I ask for is a candle on her pudding. However when we arrived we received amazing customer service. Some complimentary prosecco and then when pudding came out, 3 members of staff came over with a lit candle on the pudding and sang happy birthday! My friend was truly touched. Thank you so much!

Food was great! The restaurant was packed, good service too.

The service was good, however dissapointingly despite quite an empty restaurant due to the current situation some of our dishes were under-whelming. In particular our sea bass with beurre blanc sauce was not even close to how a beurre blanc sauce should be. No white wine reduction or shallot flavour just cream and parsley.

Usually really enjoy it but considering how few people were in the restaurant the service was poor. Initially food brought out in stages and got the wrong order then my gluten free toast was one very small end slice. Asked for butter and never got it. It all seemed a bit chaotic and disorganised.
