Thank you for a lovely evening. Steak frites were a bit over done, but overall the service was good, the ambience was lovely and was kid friendly.

A lovely evening celebrating our wedding anniversary with friends. The staff really looked after us. The glass of bubbly on arrival and the special dessert made our day complete. Thank you to everyone at the restaurant.

We had a lovely time at Cote in Welwyn Garden City. It was my daughter's 21st Birthday and the staff went out of their way to make it a special evening for her by giving us a complimentary drink on arrival and then a beautifully decorated personalised free dessert for her pudding. All food choices were delicious and equally well presented. Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant.

Absolutely love this restaurant! It is the best in Welwyn Garden City! The staff are wonderful, the food is amazing. Cannot recommend highly it enough . Child friendly :)

Friendly and welcoming environment. Delicious and well cooked food. Highly recommended. Beautiful location near the fountain in WGC. Restaurant has nice views across to the fountain and well maintained area at the front. We sat inside on our visit but have previously sat outside and it is a wonderful place to be.

We had a really super meal on a busy Saturday night. My nephew (16) is still racing about the fantastic steak he had. Service was good considering how busy they were. Would definitely go back.

I love Cote. It’s my favourite restaurant in Welwyn. Until Cote arrived, we had an abundance of Italian restaurants, and much as I love them, I love Cote’s menu. I had my retirement meal there. I’ve never had a bad meal there. It never disappoints.

Good waiter service,dined off the early evening menu, which gave us the choices we wanted. Being really pinickity there was a delay between starter and main course which was just about acceptable. Really was a nice early evening meal for two for just under £50

Staff were professional and attentive. A large party were in, but it didn’t impact on our service or quality of food. We had a minimal wait.

Good food, good staff in a pleasant restaurant with plenty of space and real table napkins! We also benefitted from a good wine offer from Saga. Overall, first rate experience.

Service not quite up to your usual standard initially, but it did get back to 'normal' after a little time.

Had to leave as you left us waiting outside as you did many other people. Such a shame to treat a loyal customer like that and to ruin what should have been a lovely family meal

Lovely experience last night, great food and service. The veal was absolutely delicious and the staff were great at recommending dishes and kept checking in on us as we enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be returning soon.

Great Birthday meal at Cote Brasserie. Attentive and knowledgeable staff and greatly appreciated the complimentary Birthday wine. Spoiled for choice on the menu too. Keep up the great work!

Food was good, service was too slow, it was not over busy but lack of management on the floor. Should not take 2 1/4 hrs for lunch for 3 people.

I always enjoy my visits to Cote - staff are always friendly, good food choices and reasonable value for money. Clean and pleasant environment. Will always happily go back!

Great food and service,difficult for wheelchair bound customer. The ramp was too high so another way of getting in to main restaurant would be good or a bigger table just inside main entrance.

Great breakfast outside in the sunshine. Enjoyed the croissant with jam from the pot. And Hubby liked the vegetarian full breakfast. I would suggest a better vegan offering, e.g. avocado toast.

Fantastic food and excellent service. A really enjoyable three course meal from the early evening set menu that was value for money and tasted delicious.

We received a warm welcome on arrival and were quickly taken to our seats - as it was a quiet evening we had a choice on where to sit. Service was a little slow to start with and the French waiter we had wasn't that friendly however pleased to say the next waiter took over and looked after us the whole evening. Food as always was top class.

Good food and good services. One of the best atmospheric restaurants in Welwyn Garden City. There are a few small things to improve such as the waiting time to get the card machine for payment is a bit long, and we were a bit rushed by the staff about whether our meals are finished (given its Father’s Day morning, I would understand this). Overall we enjoy dining in this restaurant as a regular. Hopefully lunch and dinner menu can be with a bit more variety of dishes to retain customers as well. Thanks.

25 minute wait for a booked table-then told we only had an hour and a quarter at our table before we would need to leave. Unacceptable on such a special day. No where on website when booking were we told we would have an hour and a quarter at our table - even in top London restaurants on a busy day you get at the very least 2 hours. Manager was rude and didn’t seem apologetic. Waitress however was lovely. Both dessert and starter came out cold. Not my usual Côte experience.

Waiting service was a bit too prompt if I am honest; service can be too efficient and therefore provide bad service as a result as we felt a bit rushed to make a decision on our order. Unfortunately, my dinner also didn't taste of much (pork belly and cabbage) but my pudding was super tasty! Booking process seamless.

The food was lovely but could have done with less Olive Oil spread over it. It made the food a bit greasy. Nice to receive a free bottle of wine though for us ordering from the a la cartel menu. Atmosphere good but a bit noisy. It was difficult for me to hear my partner at times. Perhaps some fabric furnishings would absorb some of the noise?

This morning we had another great breakfast with friends. This is two weekends running, so it must be attractive to us to go back again and again :-).

Father’s Day Lunch - delighted with every aspect, food was delicious and service was spot on!

A lovely treat for our friends and ourselves. Makes a great change from our usual venues. Excellent polite and efficient service.

Extremely slow service. Food quality was okay but we were in the restaurant for an hour and 15 minutes before our main meal arrived. When we asked what was happening the food came out immediately, so it must have been sitting around waiting...

Great time at Cote Welwyn tonight. As always the food was perfect, they brought out the meal for our hungry little tot very quickly and we enjoyed it so much that we made another booking for tomorrow:)

We eat here regularly and are always pleased with the quality of food and service. Thank you.

We liked the interior decor, the quality cutlery and crockery and glassware. Also on the plus side was friendly staff, quality food at a reasonable price and reasonable waiting time. All together it made for an enjoyable evening for a couple with no kids. The only downside was the noise level, but that is entirely down to fact, that on a Sat night, it was full,when we arrived for dinner (8pm). After 9pm it was really pleasant and enjoyable again. Will revisit again in near future.

This is a great restaurant in a lovely setting. The food is delicious, the service is efficient and friendly and the customer offers are a welcome bonus.
