Really nice friendly service at Côte welwyn garden city, shame they don’t do the formulae breakfast deal anymore but food still great

Weekend breakfast was OK. Slow service on this occasion could have been due to staff shortage.

Thank you for going the extra mile to help us celebrate the forthcoming marriage of our friend with an alfresco Hen Party in December! You took such good care of us and having cuddly blankets ready was so very thoughtful. We highly recommend Cote. Also thanks to the central reservation staff who helped enormously with our booking.

The food and service were as good as usual. Unfortunately some parents are unable or unwilling to control their children.

Weekend breakfast was OK: no marmalade (?) and some very mediocre sausages. Good job the service was spot on.

When we arrived there were a number of vacant tables and we were put on one that appeared to be squeezed into a tiny space. We asked to be moved to a corner table but were told it had been reserved. When we booked online there was no option to request a particular table. However, we were moved and everything from then on was ok.

Our go-to place to eat in WGC. Food excellent, little pricier than other places in town but good portions sizes and quality.

Absolutely beautifully cooked and served! The mussels sauce is the best I’ve ever tasted and the steaks were cooked to perfection! My husband loved his chocolate fondant too. Exemplary service, we can’t wait to return in the new year! Thank you to all at Cote Brasserie, Welwyn Garden City!!

Brilliant team. The sirloin cut which was served had a lot of fat and gristle. Team were incredible helpful and attentive at dealing with this.

Lovely meal at Cote as usual although the bread we started with was a little hard, not the soft texture we had a few weeks ago. The house red with the steak, delicious.

At last! After using a particular restaurant in town and being loyal to them decided to try Cote and not disappointed, by far the best in town for standard of food and professional, friendly staff, will definitely make this our go to in future

Came with my mum last night. Had a lovely waitress and really enjoyed the food. When our main meal first came it was a bit overcooked compared to last time we had the dish, and I really appreciated it being changed with absolutely no fuss at all - the management and waitress were so nice about it. Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a difficult time for everyone and they made eating out before tier 3 a lovely experience when it must have been a worrying time for them too. Ambience great. And food and drink perfect. Thank you.

We have had a lovely meal today. We used the prestige fixed price menu, a good range of options, I recommend. The service was very friendly and attentive. Worth 5 stars.
