Generally a good experience. The food is of a high standard but the burgers have been unavailable on my last two visits. Also can you fix the guest wifi

Table for two was too small for breakfast, we literally did not have enough space and had to put items on the floor e.g. water. Do not understand why people were put on the table next to us when there was lots of other vacant tables where they could have been sat. Not really what you want in the middle of a pandemic.

Good to get out of the house! Food was really nice

The food quality was superb. The service was excellent. The staff could not do enough. We also qualified for the free cocktail which was very welcome.

Warm greeting and the complimentary cocktails were great. We had to ask for plates to eat the sourdough off and the mains arrived before we'd finished our bread which was unfortunate but the food was excellent, tasted as good as it looked. Music was inappropriate

Despite being very busy we had a nice discreet table as it was our anniversary, the food and service as ever was excellent and it is so good to see Cote back in Welwyn Garden City.

Not very Covid friendly. Tables too close together very limited menu. No hand gel offered on entry. Wouldnt be returning anytime soon. Which is a shame as Cotes was one of our favourite places.

Everything excellent except : No one checked anything regarding Covid19 - No temperature checks or asked us to check in via any apps NHS or by other meeans.

Great food and the usual excellent service at this branch. It’s our 1st choice local restaurant The management are always willing to help. Water is supplied without having to ask 3 times as in some restaurants.nice background music. I personally don’t like the idea of service charges but this is common to many restaurants so don’t hold that against you but how else can one get a meal unless it’s served? I prefer to tip when earned.

Booked a table for two for breakfast. The food was good as always. A little disappointed that the cooked breakfast, coffee and fresh juice deal was no longer available.

Lovely food and drink. Great kids menu. Relaxed atmosphere, a restaurant where you can talk to the people at your table without shouting is a rare occurrence these days. Service is always excellent.

We enjoyed your restaurant and I'm not going to rant about it, but I was a little disappointed with the main meals. My husband had the fish pie, while he said it was nice, it didn't come with anything, so made it a bit bland, I had what was supposed to be butterfly chicken, but it was just a very thin dry chicken steak served with creamy potatoes & creamy mushrooms, to creamy and a bit tasteless. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant very clean.

So pleased that Cote has reopened. We had a lovely meal with great service. The rhubarb martinis were delicious.

Our first restaurant meal since the beginning of lockdown. The staff welcomed us as if we were long lost friends, ensuring that we felt at ease. The food was as we remembered, and a bonus was the complimentary cocktail, which was delicious.

So glad to be back. Lovely brunch, attentive helpful waiting staff. Let’s hope you keep the 5 star food hygiene rating so we can keep coming!

Food was good. Vegetation choices were poor, both goats cheese (not all vegetarians like goats cheese!) Glad you have a 5 star food hygiene rating again, please keep it up, 2 stars is unacceptable.

Another great meal out at Cote in Welwyn Garden City. Never had a bad meal here. I had the mussels for main and they were delicious!

After nearly 6 months of not eating out in a restaurant, it was such a pleasure to be finally able to walk through the doors of Cote Welwyn again! The food as always was delicious with so much choice I could eat here every day and have a different meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming which made for such a pleasant atmosphere and evening. We will certainly be booking again... see you all soon

Nice vegetarian breakfast as always. Quick efficient service. Tea could do with being stronger is the only improvement I would make.

I was not pleased with the experience as there appeared to be a hair in my plate. After finding I raised it with the staff and they simply too my plate and removed the hair and brought the same plate back. I ended up having my coffee and leaving. Definitely not as experience I was expecting and I will not be returning. There was no amends made for the Error and I would have appreciate the meal being made again in a clean plate or some discretion on the bill to reflect this.

Early brunch, service excellent, knowledgable waitress, answered everything we needed to know and very efficient as it has been lately, food excellent by the way!!

Very Covid safe . Service excellent . Enjoyed Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch as need to catch up on 6 months of closure. Delighted to be back . Highly recommend
