Verygood choice of food, very good ingredients and very well cooked + excellent Saumur. Usual very good service and all at a good value price.

The friendly efficient service and quality of food is unrivalled in Welwyn Garden City , it my favourite place to eat in the area and I always recommend to friends .

Nice place. Service, staff and food all very good. The restaurant was busy and seemed very noisy. Maybe that is a problem with Saturdays? Maybe we do not go out often enough! It will not stop us going there again.

Food really nice quality, lovely setting. Staff mostly helpful and welcoming. Easy to park around it in any of the local carparks. all in all I would recommend the venue to all.

We went to cote for an anniversary lunch together with our two grown up children. The Waitress was attentive and pleasant but unfortunately somewhere between writing our order down and putting it through to the kitchen, my sons meal was 'lost'. This meant that three of us had eaten our main meals before my son got his. The price of his meal was immediately removed from the bill as a gesture, but the service charge wasn't. Sometimes these things happen in restaurants, but it would have been nice to remove the service charge given the disjointed nature of our experience. On a positive note, all our meal choices were delicious especially the warm beetroot starter.

The food is really good enjoy it every time . But the only negative is the extortionate service charge that's added 12 1/2 per cent is too high especially when you go with large parties .£69.00 we paid on a tip over Christmas silly . Talking about the service we received Sunday it wasn't great I found one girl quite moody .

Delicious food and pretty good service (except I waited ages to pay the bill). I do wish they would write whether things are gluten-free on the main menu and specials menu, rather than having a separate list.

Excellent value for money from weekend offers menu. Steak fries and salad always a good choice. Half chicken and veg well presented. Staff pleasant and efficient as always.

Nice atmosphere, good staff , Three out of the four meals were delicious but the vegetarian risotto was rather bland. Overall a very enjoyable experience. We have been many times and would definitely go again.

Absolutely lovely Calamari, Poulet Prevencal and great service. Plus a complimentary bottle of wine as our reward. What's not to like?! We'll visit again soon.

This was our first time and what a fantastic meal! Food was absolutely beautiful, staff were lovely and prices were good. Really lovely buzzy atmosphere.

The usual cheerful greeting and prompt, friendly service throughout our visit. When you combine that with beautifully cooked and delicious food at a reasonable price what more could you ask for.

Really good food and excellent service. Booked as a last minute decision and was really pleased we managed to get a table as I know Cote is always busy. As it was booked for 4.45pm it was perfect for us as not too packed. I have eaten at Cote a few times and have tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and every time the food has been excellent. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Great service and the food was of a consistently high standard. Slightly disappointed with the choice of wine but I enjoyed the one I chose nonetheless.

The quality of the seafood in the Breton Stew has really gone down hill. We will definitely not be ordering this dish again. Service was good though

My friends and I enjoyed our experience but our main courses arrived whilst we were still enjoying our starter. This made things rather awkward as there was not enough room on the table for everything. Our starter was a cold sharing platter & two of our mains were hot. This has never happened to me before in a restaurant. We then found ourselves hurrying up to suit the chef's timings. Not a serious issue but a bit annoying. The food was very nice once we settled down to it.

Food delicious. Too much clanging of chairs being moved around by waitress. Too much interrupting our conversations asking us if we enjoy etc. Served salad in bowl but no cutlery for sharing so had to ask. Served melon with no spoon for eating so had to ask. Too much noise of coffee machine banging. These issues made it unrelaxing.

Lovely meal with friends. We had the 10 year celebration menu which was just great. Will certainly be visiting again soon. Staff all very friendly.

Food is always excellent quality. Service is considerate and unrushed. Atmosphere is pleasant and the restaurant has plenty of space between tables. Like the fact that the early evening menu has seasonal change of starters.

Excellent lunch. Service impeccable. Food could not be faulted and all for £12.95 for a set lunch. Same food as for the a last carte.

We had a wonderful evening at Côte in WelwynGarden City. The food was superb as usual. We were a party of 4 and the 3 course meals were beautifully prepared and enjoyed by all. Service excellent!

Nice, relaxed, with attentive staff. Tend to go here whenever I visit Welwyn, which is often. What is annoying is the minimum word limit on this site. We're not a school you know!

We are regular visitors to Cote and as we had friends visiting we asked for a specific table. A warm welcome, excellent service and Cote being at its very best provided us and our friends with a most enjoyable evening. We chose the celebration menu, good choice and each dish was well presented and very tasty - Well done to the Cote team on the 19th August.

It was lovely but unfortunately my husbands veal was cooked rare when we asked for medium. Not being used to veal we didn't know what it should be like. He didn't eat it in the end. The bill was very expensive too.

Great service atmosphere and food. Great value fixed menu with plenty of choice. House wine a bit expensive but still a really nice meal. Well done cote.

When we had dinner in June, the portions were closer to a pub meal!! But in August - had dinner last Monday and found things have changed. Wonderful food and portions. The young man who served us was excellent.

A very good night for four of us. Mussels could have been hotter. Excellent service without any pressure from staff. Would go again. We all had different and all dishes were served without ant wait.

Food is always very tasty and is excellent value. There is always a good buzzy atmosphere. Service is always very friendly and you never have to wait very long for your food.

Has 3 course Earlybird. Long wait for food service. Not enough staff on floor and the few working busy with drinks or away from main floor busy. A bowl of rolls would have been nice since the service took so long. My choice tomatoe soup nice (no roll) main course (haddock fillets) was small while the carb dishes like pasta more plentiful so I finished mine sooner than the others. Dessert peach crumble with vanilla ice cream delicious.

An excellent meal, four steaks individually ordered and served to perfection. Waitress very polite and engaging without being intrusive. The only reason i didn't rate 6 is because of the cost! £50 per head in WGG? Will definitely go back:)

Lovely French style food and good service as always. This place works well, whether it's a special celebration or an everyday meal out and prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality.

We ate from the '10th anniversary menu ' which was really good value for money great service and amazing food Definitely recommend and looking forward to our next visit
