From start to finish the service was excellent and the food was wonderful Staff are very friendly and made sure everything was ok. Nice atmosphere to enjoy any meal.

Lovely restaurant, service a little slow. We ordered the duck described on the menu as served pink and the spinach and mushroom crepes. Both dishes were over cooked. We have had these dishes before in other Cote restaurants and they were cooked to perfection.

Lovely food (best potato gratin I've had in quite a while) and friendly staff - it just took a little while to get the bill.

The food was delicious. The menu is always varied and interesting. The balance of ingredients in the salad starters was spot on. Lovely combinations of flavours and beautifully prepared. Service is always excellent.

Everything excellent. This included food, service and atmosphere. Thank you all very much. We have just booked for a return visit shortly. The only comment - after asking for the bill, and receiving it at the table, could the waitress please return promptly to the table with the card machine to take payment. We were left waiting and looking for our waitress to return.

As always a good meal. It was my dads birthday he was 94. Staff were very kind and wished him a happy birthday, we had complimentary drinks, dad celebrated his birthday last year there with breakfast and wanted to go there again. Thank you My husband and I wouldn't have chosen to sit by the bar because it is noisier there but dad this year didn't want to do the two steps.

We have eaten in Cote at Welwyn Garden City many times as a couple, with friends and in large groups and can honestly say we have never chosen any dishes we did not enjoy - the menu is wide enough to give a large range of choice and the staff are always willing to adapt the dishes to suit dietary requirements - the staff are very well trained and efficient - all in all it is our favourite place in Welwyn Garden City to eat

We had a perfect 3 course meal food was delicious very good service. Thank you look forward to next offer free drink was a good start to our evening.

Food good. waiter attentive at start but we had to ask twice for coffees. One waitress said "I don't work on this floor!" Didn't say, I'll get someone. Restaurant is noisy. Needs some partitions r noise absorbing fabric

Great food nice atmosphere central location what else could someone want. Need to book as get very busy especially early for the early bird menu. Try you will not be disappointed

The choices for breakfast are great much better than anywhere else in WGC. My breakfast was lovely in a relaxed setting. The staff were attentive and friendly. I will definititely be going back.

We had an excellent meal which was served promptly and did not disappoint! The staff Were brilliant - very helpful and made sure we had everything that we needed!

A really nice breakfast with good customer service. The French Breakfast was ample and tasted very nice. Shame that the Salmon was not included in the offer.

Lovely restaurant with high quality food and fantastic, unobtrusive service. Ideal location with a view across the avenue of trees outside the Howard Centre and memorial fountain. Definitely recommended for a nice meal out after a movie or show in Welwyn Garden City.

Service as usual efficient and friendly. As it was my birthday we were treated to complimentary drinks. W e sat outside as we had brought our dog after a walk and our waiter provided water without any prompt. Côte is such a welcome addition to our town, it doesn't disappoint.

Very relaxing dinner with friends. Staff brilliant and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to all of my colleagues and friends. A great place to dine.

Good food and great service. The young lady who served us was fantastic and knew the menu well which was very helpful when choosing from the wonderful menu. We will be coming back soon.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good brunch and very reasonable but the poached eggs really weren't good - chewy and tasted of plastic!! Good service.

Great service and lovely food this has become our regular haunt. Try the French breakfast its amazing a different slant on the English fry up.

The food is best quality and stuff are so polite helpful and friendly would 100% recommend friends and family going there you will not be disappointed

Service was a little slow, but food and environment was really nice. Staff were friendly and nice. They apologized for the slow service and then ensured it would be with us in 2 minutes which it was.

Lovely venue and location and friendly, attentive staff, however fell short on the quality of the food front - food was barely warm, over-priced and decidedly 'average' and we had to wait a very long time between mains and dessert, which then had to be rushed as we were going to a cinema concert - I would try other Cote Brasseries, but would not go back to the WGC one.

Just a few small points: on showing us to our table, the member of staff stopped to have a conversation with a customer who was about to leave. Only a small conversation but it did mean us standing there not knowing where to go until she'd finished her conversation. We had planned to have the breakfast which is served until 1 pm at weekends and received every menu except the breakfast one so when the waitress came to take our order, she had to fetch one. A table for two is really too small for breakfast as there is nowhere to put everything without juggling a few things. We did actually use the empty table next to us to put things we weren't using. Also coffee normally comes in a cafetière in Côte which is brilliant as it stays warm throughout breakfast but this time it arrived ready poured into a cup even though I had asked for a cafetière. By the time the food arrived, the coffee had cooled down a bit. On the plus side, the food was tasty and nicely presented, good toast, nice choice of jams and nice atmosphere.

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary (part 1) i.e. A quiet and private lunch without the family, we are then going to have a large family celebration the next day. The lunch at cote was perfect, the ambiance of the surroundings and care and attention from staff and food was excellent.

restaurant was really busy this morning as it is fathers day, however we had to wait 25 mins before order was taken , no water offered until we grabbed someone and asked. food took a good while to arrive too, but was delicious when it came .

Third time we have visited the cote in Welwyn and have been very pleasantly surprised again. Consistent great food, service and a great atmosphere, will definitely be going back.

Took my parents here for Fathers Day. They were impressed. Food was good as was the service. Would have no hesitation in coming back again.

The service was impeccable we had a guest with us who was a vegetarian and was delighted with the vegetarian menu choices. They said they would come again. Well done

Was an average experience. Service was rather slow. Temperature in restaurant uncomfortably cold. The food was tasty and hot although the portion size seems to have shrunk since previous visit.

Food of a very good standard as usual. Slight mix-up; included side salads didn't come. When we queried it they were brought to table but we were then charged for this separately and two of the mains were overcharged. Remedied quickly but you have to check your bill. Nice atmosphere.

Main course of hake perfectly cooked, chicken a little on the dry side and staff dealt with this in a professional manner. Always find the staff to be pleasant at Cote in WGC.

Nice environment, good service and good food. Côte is a reliable venue for consistently good quality fare. The Welwyn Garden City branch is no exception to that.

Our food itself was very good. But we waited ages for our drinks which only came at the same time as the food. The drinks order was wrong and at end of it all we were charged for drinks that we never received. Not the best first visit.

Food and service was fine but would have been a lot better had the waitress taken down the orders correctly. Two Fillet steaks were ordered and two sirloin steaks turned up!
