Fantastic service and a great gluten free menu for folks like me, who are gluten free where you can still have most of the same options as the main menu. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit and will be back many more times!

The food was delicious. The menu is always varied and interesting. The balance of ingredients in the salad starters was spot on. Lovely combinations of flavours and beautifully prepared. Service is always excellent.

Everything excellent. This included food, service and atmosphere. Thank you all very much. We have just booked for a return visit shortly. The only comment - after asking for the bill, and receiving it at the table, could the waitress please return promptly to the table with the card machine to take payment. We were left waiting and looking for our waitress to return.

The food was ok, but I wouldn't say it was too good. They were quite slow. It almost took 2 hours for a set menu.

Ran out of starters first of all, I ordered the fillet steak medium it came out very well done so sent it back to only come out again very well done a second time by this time I was so hungry we just ate our meals the manager was lovely and staff very helpful and even took it off the bill. The chef seems like he/she needs training more on how to cook steaks to the correct desire.

We received a warm welcome and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and there was a good choice of reasonably priced wine. A great place for a girly lunch!

Amazing food, everytime we visit food is always a high standard and place is extremely clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Would defiantly recommend and will be returning.

Lovely restaurant with high quality food and fantastic, unobtrusive service. Ideal location with a view across the avenue of trees outside the Howard Centre and memorial fountain. Definitely recommended for a nice meal out after a movie or show in Welwyn Garden City.

Great ambience and good service from waiting staff. My food was fine. However, my husband's steak was overdone as was the duck that my daughter ordered.

Food good. waiter attentive at start but we had to ask twice for coffees. One waitress said "I don't work on this floor!" Didn't say, I'll get someone. Restaurant is noisy. Needs some partitions r noise absorbing fabric

Great food nice atmosphere central location what else could someone want. Need to book as get very busy especially early for the early bird menu. Try you will not be disappointed

We had a perfect 3 course meal food was delicious very good service. Thank you look forward to next offer free drink was a good start to our evening.

The choices for breakfast are great much better than anywhere else in WGC. My breakfast was lovely in a relaxed setting. The staff were attentive and friendly. I will definititely be going back.

We had an excellent meal which was served promptly and did not disappoint! The staff Were brilliant - very helpful and made sure we had everything that we needed!

A really nice breakfast with good customer service. The French Breakfast was ample and tasted very nice. Shame that the Salmon was not included in the offer.

Service as usual efficient and friendly. As it was my birthday we were treated to complimentary drinks. W e sat outside as we had brought our dog after a walk and our waiter provided water without any prompt. Côte is such a welcome addition to our town, it doesn't disappoint.

Good food and great service. The young lady who served us was fantastic and knew the menu well which was very helpful when choosing from the wonderful menu. We will be coming back soon.

Overall I thought it was a pretty good brunch and very reasonable but the poached eggs really weren't good - chewy and tasted of plastic!! Good service.

Great service and lovely food this has become our regular haunt. Try the French breakfast its amazing a different slant on the English fry up.

restaurant was really busy this morning as it is fathers day, however we had to wait 25 mins before order was taken , no water offered until we grabbed someone and asked. food took a good while to arrive too, but was delicious when it came .

Friendly and welcoming staff. There is a good choice on the menu and the food was excellent. We were looked after well and I'm sure we will return again soon.

always a pleasure to visit this little gem at the end of the boulevard, straight out of the train station. great, attentive staff and great food.

The service was impeccable we had a guest with us who was a vegetarian and was delighted with the vegetarian menu choices. They said they would come again. Well done

Food of a very good standard as usual. Slight mix-up; included side salads didn't come. When we queried it they were brought to table but we were then charged for this separately and two of the mains were overcharged. Remedied quickly but you have to check your bill. Nice atmosphere.

Great food and lovely atmosphere. The birthday Kir Royal offer was great and got our party off to a flying start. You never feel rushed when eating at Côte.

Friendly as ever but very slow service, presumably because it's Fathers' Day. It's evident that whenever business is brisk, service falters. More staff needed perhaps?

Our food itself was very good. But we waited ages for our drinks which only came at the same time as the food. The drinks order was wrong and at end of it all we were charged for drinks that we never received. Not the best first visit.

Took my parents here for Fathers Day. They were impressed. Food was good as was the service. Would have no hesitation in coming back again.

Food and service was fine but would have been a lot better had the waitress taken down the orders correctly. Two Fillet steaks were ordered and two sirloin steaks turned up!

Lovely venue and location and friendly, attentive staff, however fell short on the quality of the food front - food was barely warm, over-priced and decidedly 'average' and we had to wait a very long time between mains and dessert, which then had to be rushed as we were going to a cinema concert - I would try other Cote Brasseries, but would not go back to the WGC one.

Just a few small points: on showing us to our table, the member of staff stopped to have a conversation with a customer who was about to leave. Only a small conversation but it did mean us standing there not knowing where to go until she'd finished her conversation. We had planned to have the breakfast which is served until 1 pm at weekends and received every menu except the breakfast one so when the waitress came to take our order, she had to fetch one. A table for two is really too small for breakfast as there is nowhere to put everything without juggling a few things. We did actually use the empty table next to us to put things we weren't using. Also coffee normally comes in a cafetière in Côte which is brilliant as it stays warm throughout breakfast but this time it arrived ready poured into a cup even though I had asked for a cafetière. By the time the food arrived, the coffee had cooled down a bit. On the plus side, the food was tasty and nicely presented, good toast, nice choice of jams and nice atmosphere.

Perfect as usual! If I had one tiny piece of feedback, i would love a soup spoon when eating soup and not a pudding spoon.

Great breakfast, service was quick and the formula deal was used by all. Booking also easy to do. Would go again soon with the family

Great food, great ambience, really good value. Only criticism would be that the service was slow and we had to wait a long time between our starter and main course.
