The food was lovely and the atmosphere was great value fr money

Great food Great atmosphere and great friendly staff.

We enjoyed ourselves very much, the food was good as was the service and friendliness of the staff. So much so we have booked in for next week, hopefully a little cooler by then?

Very pleasant evening, only issue was that a walk-in group got priority over us for an outside table - perhaps you should give priority to those who have already pre-booked with you.

All was well with the starter, main course and drinks. However, the experience was rather spoilt when it came to the dessert. We were given the menus, made our choices, and waited to give our order, and waited......., and waited............ But what really annoyed us was that, while we were waiting 4 people came in and sat at the next table. Their drinks order was taken and delivered while we were ignored. At tha point we just asked for the bill. To be fair the server and the manager were apologetic and gave us a voucher for free desserts next time, and they did not put the optional service charge, (which we would not have paid anyway). It is a pity that what started as a pleasant evening should finish in this way.

Service was excellent but food lacked quality that you expect with those prices. How ever well done to staff to do their best in this different times.

A wonderful afternoon with my mum enjoying delicious food served by very friendly professional and attentive staff. The sun was shining and we were able to sit outside which made our dining experience even better. Thank you Cote West Bridgford we will definitely return and our compliments to the chef/s - the restaurant was extremely busy today due to the August offer - well done to all 😄

My mum and I had a great time. Succulent roast loin of pork and super fresh and colourful Tuna Niçoise. Great staff and the perfect table. Côte is our favourite place in Nottingham. Thank You. ps. We noticed that the service charge is calculated as a percentage of the bill after deducting the government discount of £10 per head. So, staff lose £1.20 service charge on every meal. I believe it would be fairer to servers if customers had the option to pay service charge on the full bill before the discount is applied to reflect the true value of the service given.

Food ok nothing special, needed more dressing on the salad and not overly tasty. Nothing wrong just not that good and bland luke warm food. Coffee I usually love their cafe au lait but was strong black with a dollop of milk on top. Asked for dressing which came after nearly finished . Alright will try somewhere else next time

Yet again a wonderful evening at cotes west bridgeford. Evan with the problems we all face at present the staff at cotes are always polite and friendly and the food is outstanding. Thank you again Mr Morgan

Staff here are amazing! Every single member of staff made me feel so special and well looked after they really made me want to come back!! I had the fillet steak which I have to say was a bit tough, it was cooked perfectly, it was just the cut of meat. The tomato and basil salad was absolutely delicious as was the red wine and the chocolate fondant! Was a little disappointed with the size of the peppercorn sauce for the money but overall loved my experience here and will be coming back. Maybe even tonight!

First time since lockdown - we decided to have a meal out at last. Chose Cote as we were in W. Bridgford - pleased we did. Usual brilliant service, food just as we remembered - excellent. We'll be back !!

Our first visit to Cote since re-opening after lockdown did not disappoint. The anticipation of our first meal out since early March was matched by excellent food and service. Could not fault anything. Well done Cote! See you again soon.

Excellent food as always. The sea bass was fantastic and the creme caramel really is the best.

There was a great atmosphere, it was very busy, but the staff remained good humoured and as pleasant as ever, plus they were all wearing face shields, which can’t have been easy! The food was as excellent as it always is. We had a very enjoyable evening, thank you!

Another excellent meal at cotes. The menu has changed slightly (no more french onion soup!) but everyone agreed that their food was delicious. The staff are friendly and always up for some banter, which just adds to the overall experience. Well done team!

We came to Cote with two friends , so a party of four, during dine out to help out. The meal was lovely and we sat outside enjoying our food and drinks. The staff were, as ever, superb. This is a period of transition for everyone, including us as customers. Be patient if the table is a little late - there are table transition protocols - and be kind if a side order is missing- masked staff have a lot of ground to cover. Everyone is doing their best and that was very obvious. For that we thank you.

Nice to be back. On top form as usual, we will be back

Service excellent to say how busy it was. The staff were brilliant. Food excellent. My husband had a bit of everyone's meal, he said they were all good. My only criticism is not enough Vegetarian options.

Fabulous staff who provided a private table and champagne for my wife's birthday, that coupled with wonderful food just made our evening

Very nice and helpful staff, importantly the sanitisation and spacing of tables was very good, we felt well protected.

It was great to revisit one of our favourite restaurants post lockdown. The staff were excellent, professional & friendly throughout the evening. The food was great; well presented, tasty and to the high standards we have always experienced here. Well done to all the staff.

No waiting on arrival, was seated very quickly. We waited around 5 mins to get served for drinks, but were able to give our food orders at the same time. The starters arrived within 5 mins! We'd barely had a drink of our wine! But we were gone within 1 hour. Very fast service. My only gripe being vegetarian married to a carnivore, is that all the V options had goats cheese in. I love goats cheese, and had the CrottinSalad to start and the Goats Cheese Salad for main. Both were delicious! But a little more variety would be good. Maybe 1 other option?

Great service friendly staff. Good ambience. Starter was terrific and steak frites great as always.

It was lovely to be back....taking advantage of the Dine Out to Help Out. The food and service were the same top quality we have come to expect at Cote and we will definitely be returning for more. Thank you.

Sensible health and safety precautions in place . Plenty of room between tables. Food excellent and staff great. Was cleaner in their job description?

From the moment we entered we were greeted by the hostess .. we think her name was Ria. She was absolutely wonderful to us and some welcoming. It was our 2nd wedding anniversary so she made it so special for us. The waitress we had was wonderful as well and the food just delicious. We felt super safe as well as. Thank you for a beautiful evening to the staff at cote ! Can’t wait to go back !

I had a very enjoyable lunch . The service and the food both excellent.

Good quality food but served far too quickly. We got our wine and barely had a sip before having the starters served. I feel the service needs to be more relaxed in the evening. Plus missed the set menus too...are they coming back?

Whole evening was as good as ever - service personal and food excellent

Great visit. I came to dine alone with my dog. Not as tragic as it sounds, he's a puppy and it was a training visit really. Easy to book a table online. Friendly and attentive staff that didn't make us feel like an inconvenience. Shame it was raining but we were offered a table under cover.

Much as before the lockdown - we went the day Cote closed in March. The wine was good, as was the food. The creme caramel is particularly excellent. Service was good too and we didn't feel that we were in a "bunker mentality" as the restaurant felt both safe and friendly. We could chat to staff and we felt relaxed as we ate. We had access the loos too! My only criticism as always is that in any brasserie in France you would get bread with your food as a matter of course. It would be nice if Cote did the same.

Excellent additional hygiene measures in place, saw staff constantly washing their hands and using sanitizers etc. Felt safe. Great service and scrumptious crab mayonnaise salad to start followed by goats cheese chargrilled vegetables salad absolutely perfect. Looking forward to seeing you soon, just hope you get more customers in so you can stay open. Good luck see you soon

It was great to come back and enjoy an excellent meal (as always). The staff were very welcoming and we were made to feel very safe and comfortable. It was lovely to see the patio doors open, which made it all feel more airy and safer too. The only thing I didn’t notice was any hand sanitiser on entry to the restaurant, not sure if it was there, but if so no one reminded us to use it. Other than that we had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you to all the staff.
