We enjoyed our visit very much; first night out without the children for about two years! The waiter was very welcoming and comped our glasses of champagne at the beginning of the meal. It was a special meal, well-paced, delicious and memorable. Thank you!

We were delighted to see that Cote had re-opened. It has always been our favourite eatery in Winchester. The faces were different but as always the service was superb, the staff as friendly and welcoming as ever and of course the food beatifully prepared and presented. Tables had been re-arranged to comply with social distancing and the staff (all wearing face coverings) had clearly been well-trained in the anti-covid requirements. As always, nothing was too much trouble and everything was delivered with a smile. A perfect evening in every respect.

First night opening post closure. Regular visitor Arrival smooth. Staff welcoming and friendly. Starters excellent Main (minute steak) a little cool, over cooked and slow (not rapid) Desert - Delicious as ever Thanks to the staff and Chancellor also!

The staff were very welcoming and took all necessary precautions given the current climate. We had a lovely time, and the food was perfect. We'll certainly be back!

Amazing first experience at Cote Brasserie. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly and the service was brilliant! Tables well spaced out but felt like a 'normal' dining experience! £20 off the bill for 'Eat Out to Help Out' made it even better!!!

Great food and friendly staff. It would be helpful if staff could check with the kitchen and let people know at the start which items are unavailable on the menu. We chose 2 unavailable dishes!! However there was plenty of choice, so we easily found an alternative. We will definitely return.

Cheerful and welcoming staff, good food, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere. A big shout out for the manageress - a sassy, smiling and friendly lady, with very good customer service.

Always love Cote, it is so consistent, which may sounds like faint praise but actually to deliver such fine food to a consistently high standard is a credit. Ever reliable like a favourite jumper, my wife and I will continue to come here for great service, great food and a great experience.

Cote always delivers. There is a good range of dishes available of an always excellent quality. The various deals available mean you don’t have to spend a fortune either, although the main menu is not that expensive either. On this occasion, in Winchester, the service was excellent - as it always is - with no delays - with just the right atmosphere. If I looked for a criticism, then perhaps a wider range of desserts would be nice, but frankly I can usually find something from what is available. My experience in Cote Winchester means I will be back there again soon, and am happy to eat at any Cote Brasserie when the opportunity arises.

Sword fish was requested rare but arrived over cooked. How was this possible?? Normally I eat at Brasserie Blanc and I would think twice before eating here again.

Lovely food and very good service. Good ambiance and recommended wine was perfect. The missing ingredient was mint sauce to go with my lamb which was the second time I had ordered lamb to be advised that because the French don't have mint sauce with lamb they don't serve it. We are in England! Suggest you purchase some! They tell me they get asked for it all the time. Otherwise my review would have had another star!

Great food with great service! Set menu was great though ,not sure about the fennel mash. Creme caramel finished off a very enjoyable evening. Definitely go back

Excellent service and food. Reasonable value. A bit noisy but tolerable. Friendly, efficient staff. We are regular diners at Cotes across the country and the Winchester staff are up there with the best. Thank you.

Breakfast wasn’t hot, fried eggs were like rubber so were sent back to be re done. We were asked then by 3 members of staff if the replacement was better! Toast and coffee could have been much hotter too. This is our third breakfast visit and each time it’s the same. I think now we’ll not bother again. Such a shame as usually service and atmosphere are pleasant and welcoming, sadly I’m not a fan of cold food.

Our evening was as lovely as usual. The food was excellent, the rhubarb martinis were fabulous and our waiter was exceptional. Another wonderful evening.

We love eating at Cotes Winchester and probably eat there once a month. The service is always great and the food superb. We were a little disappointed during this visit as some of the breakfast items weren't available, but otherwise a very pleasant visit

Excellent hot breakfast for 4 of us. The coffee at Côte is really good and I am fussy about this. Sausages really tasty and scrambled eggs perfect.

Great food, great evening, and great service. However there were a lot of groups in one space making the environment very loud and sometimes hard to hear each other speak.

Really disappointed that the chateaubriand special was not available. We had an early evening table at 6pm and had already decided that we were going to chose this for our main course as had been sent a link through the newsletter. As we sat down and given the menus, there was no mention that this was not available. So when we ordered we were then told it was not available. We were told that they did not think it would be popular so not enough was ordered! Very disappointed Cote! 😞

The food and service is always consistent. We also believe that you get a good value for your money. We love dining here at least once a month.

I have eaten at Cote on Winchester many times but this was one of the best meals ever. The courgette starter was new and delicious.

1st June 2019 Wedding meal the staff were very friendly helpful with getting 5 kids meal out quickly . The service was brilliant Can not fault the food everyone of our 36 guest said how good the food was, complements to the chef.
