Staff very attentive, food was fine nice atmosphere easy to find in a strange town

The service was excellent, Côte made me and my friend feel very at home and safe in the restaurant. As it was my birthday I felt we got incredible treatment and the food was very tasty. Our server Alex was really sweet and helpful. Thank you a fantastic evening :)

Tables well spaced so and we ad to give contact details when entering so it felt Covid "safe". Food good if not exciting. If this is trying to be a French bistro, bread..plain french bread should be provided for free..

The safest restaurant in town with every measure taken to comply with Covid rules. But, it was so quiet with only a few lunchtime tables taken. Only people from same household rule is clearly having a big effect on bookings. It's a shame and we feel for Cote and their staff. The staff and the food were fantastic and the only reason I'll be marking the atmosphere down is because it was so quiet. Not the fault of Cote at all.

Delicious meal. Well attended and friendly staff too. It did get noisy once the two tables either side were filled, but there not much to be done about that.

First time I had visited a restaurant since March. Quite nervous but pleased to be distanced from other diners. Had champagne brunch and the food quality was excellent. Only gripe was tea pot not filled very high, but the pleasant waitress would have topped this up if we’d asked. As it was water, tea, juice and champagne gave us plenty of liquids!

As always a lovely meal with great service. The food is excellent and we enjoyed the fact we can come out to eat again! Not massively impressed with the figue aperitif - just fuzzy wine tbh. Apart from that all was great. Just wondering why we we have cote at home it doesn’t taste anywhere near as good 😂

We had a lovely meal last night. There were very few people, but the atmosphere was still lovely. The service was charming and the food delicious. So lovely to be out for dinner.

The food as ever was excellent but unfortunately the same could not be said of the service which was terrible. The restaurant was very quiet but we had to wait a long time before a drinks order was taken and when it arrived it was wrong, the champagne we were served was flat and I wish I had complained there and then. During the meal we were asked if ‘you guys are ok’, we’re all OAP’s so not really appropriate. I appreciate times are very hard for the hospitality industry, I was a publican myself for 38 years and very glad I’m out of it now, but I believe you should deliver the service that the customer is paying for. When I asked for the bill I said that I wasn’t willing to pay the service charge and was just told ‘ok’, I was never asked what I wasn’t happy about.
