Côte Windsor Restaurant

Party of 15, all food came out on time. Everything was cooked to taste. Apple tart dessert was slightly over cooked but still tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

As with all Côte restaurants, the service and standard of food was second to none. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Excellent location.

Great service and great location! Really enjoyed our complimentary cocktails too! One of our party was Vegan and was really impressed with the extensive Menu available to her. Thanks for a lovely lunch.

Very good meal in a lovely location. Booked for a birthday and had informed restaurant but wasn't even mentioned so a little dissapointed. Very busy but staff seemed to cope very well.

Whilst the food was excellent the length of time between courses was too long. This restaurant is always busy but no more than usual. The manager needs to dedicate waiters to certain areas of the dining area to speed up the service. When you are charged 12 and a half percent for service it needs to improve. We have eaten many times at this branch and it needs to improve on speed of service.

The food was great and reasonably priced. The restaurant is in a fabulous location with lovely views. We were provided with good service and they accomdated our party of 8 well.

Devine Blood Orange Martinis, delicious meals and great service. All making for a perfect birthday celebration. We hope to come back before the next birthday!

We had an excellent breakfast in the sunshine! ! First class service. We were very impressed today. Will definitely return again soon. Lovely spot next to the river.

The food was excellent. 4people . Started with olives & bread then smoked salmon. Mains were steak and fish. Good dessert choices. Reasonable wine prices and a good selection. Service was excellent. Brilliant views of Windsor castle floodlit at night. A great place to go.

We love the Cote great venue and atmosphere, attentive staff, good food value for money. Time and time again we return it is so enjoyable. We like the free cocktails so often given to us too!

Excellent service. As always. We will be back very soon. On arrival we were greeted by two hosts who were very friendly and extremely accommodating. The waiter was also excellent and helped us get food for my 2yr old rapidly.

Cote used to be enjoyable. Not anymore. This was - Disappointing. The only thing that redeemed itself was the birthday fondant they gave me. Issues we had today were - - forgot my husbands starter. His came long after I had finished. - forgot our side salad - kids “cod” was definitely not cod. It tasted awful. They did swap it - 2 started choices were not available but we were informed. However not informed that the burger from the specials wasn’t available until I ordered. - ordered the rhubarb Martinis to be told they have never received the syrup so not on. - absolutely no staff present for the first half hour after ordering - back up only came when I was found trying to find ketchup for my kids. (The food was dumped and not asked if they wanted sauces). - first 2 water bottles put on our table were not full so clearly they had been used.

Service friendly but a bit slow. Fish stew could have been bit more special, my two companions loved their pork belly and sea bass.

Very disappointed with our meal. It was a special occasion ruined. Food was variable. Some dishes overcooked. Service was not great. Assumed we were happy to pay 12.5% gratuity which was £30. Service poor and asked 4 times for water. Wine glasses left empty. Been here many times but today was poor. Will not be back.

The worst experience I've ever had at Cotes Windsor...I was sent an email for complimentary rhubarb cocktails which I told the waiter about and were happily delivered...my food okay but chicken dry and chips cold which I had replaced....then as going to Windsor Theatre we were entitled to a complimentary Kir which was duly delivered and signed off against tkts by another waiter...then we ordered the cheese to share...which was pathetic for the price! But the worst thing was when the bill came we were charged for the rhurb cocktails...and told we could not have 2 comps! I should have checked your T&Vs which I have and there is nothing about this...so was lied to..and nearly made late for the Ttheatre...I am disabled and can't walk fast at the mo....it was a disgrace...We have been going many times and have never had issue with 2 comps before

Excellent breakfast which was lovely and hot served on hot plates with a lovely orange juice and latte. Service excellent too. Will definitely return again soon.

Had an amazing breakfast in a beautiful setting. Staff were lovely and attentive. The only think that let them down was the table and seating was dirty. The table was sticky and the sofa had crumbs all over it. Saying that we loved it and would definitely go back.

This was the worst experience at your restaurants especially the Windsor one where we have eaten many times. We had booked a table for four for my forthcoming birthday celebration. We arrived a few minutes early at 1315 for our 1330 booking We were shown to our table and after 30 minutes we were giving your complimentary birthday cocktail . Then had to wait until 1410 before our order was taken. This was after I complained to the waiter, a tall male with a foreign accent and wore spectacles who responded we are busy you will have to wait. I had noticed that our prople who came in after us were bring served quickly. I spoke to the lady Manager who was harassed but she apologised and claimed she was short of staff . We eventually got our starter at 1420 closely followed by the main course which was cold , steak fries. We left the restaurant after a very disappointing birthday which totally ruined our day. The Manager lost total control of the busy situation and could not cope.The rest of your staff not a course on Customer service. We will never go back to Cote

We had such a fabulous lunch yesterday. The food is always delicious and our waiter was so lovely, engaging with our two children making it a fun time for them too. It makes such a difference when you have happy, friendly staff. Many thanks Cote for a lovely lunch once again.

Absolutely disgusting service. After ordering our starter was cold then our main meal just never arrived and when I questioned this order I was told by Rafael that the kitchen had forgotten about it. When we eventually received our food we were never asked once how it was instead just brought the bill at the end with the cheek to keep a service charge on. No apology and no offer to rectify any situation.

VERY DISAPPOINTING. FOOD WAS COLD. MAINCOURSE ARRIVED WHEN WE WERE STILL EATING OUR STARTER. DINNER WINE ARRIVED BEFORE THE COMPLIMENTARY COCKTAIL, WHICH WE HAD TO ASK FOR, RATHER THAN BEING OFFERED ON ARRIVAL.

Food (brunch) was absolutely delicious, couldn’t of been better! The service was impeccable, staff were extremely attentive, kind & helpful. I bought my mum here for brunch for her 60th birthday and I’m so glad I did! Also my mum is disabled and they couldn’t of been more helpful suggesting the best accessible place to sit with a view of the river and even carried my mums wheelchair down stairs when we moved. Côte Windsor is one of my favourite restaurants and very rarely disappoints. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is tasty and of good value. Enjoy the offers and kir royals given for special occasions!

Disappointed - chaos trying to get into Restaurant. Chicken Liver parfait not set and so sent back. Decidedly average - worst Cote experience I have had

Very good service. The restaurant was incredibly busy and the staff were coping very well. Can’t help feeling a few more waiting staff would have helped, however I must stress the guys who were serving were great.

Went to vote Windsor for our anniversary dinner and from the moment we arrived, we were treated with a lovely table overlooking the river. We were treated to a complimentary glass of rose prosecco which was a lovely touch to our evening. We had the flatbread for starters and some of the special mains which were exquisite to taste. The flavours and the portion sizes were perfect and the service was swift and very friendly. Would Defoe recommend that when in Windsor, to dine here if you fancy really good food with a beautiful view of Windsor castle and the ri0ver, especially at sunset.

Busy restaurant on Father’s Day, food was good service not perfect, staff rushing around, you don’t seem to get personal service. Wine never gets poured for you after first glass. No time. Service charge on bill seems to make staff not want to serve you as they get it unless you say take it off which can be a bit awkward. Great location though
