Amazing food, great service , and a very walk welcome which is always nice, put in seats of our choice and a very reasonable price

The service and food were fabulous! The new May specialty menu was full of yummy options. Can't wait to go back again on a sunny day and dine outside in the patio!

Lovely food and friendly service as always. The service was quick and atmosphere was great - it never feels like you're in a chain restaurant.

A set menu meal at Cote Brighton is always extremely good value. Moreover, the staff are friendly without being pushy. i can't fault my trip.

I go here with my partner on a regular basis and generally have the early bird 2 or 3 course menu. The guys at Côte in Brighton are always amazing, food is and and service is superb. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Lovely food and attentive service however the soup turned up with garlic mayo instead of croutons and the veg accompanying the duck was very sparse.

Nice setting with a good menu and overall very good food served by friendly waiters we have visited this place many times and it is always busy so make sure you book a table

Had a lovely lunch and service was good. Prices very fair. I just felt that tables were very squashed in and too close together. Other than that, a great lunch.

Service was wonderful - our waiter was lovely and very fun! Sadly though there was a delay and drinks didn't come until after our food which was very frustrating as we were sat without drinks for a while. We had to ask twice before actually getting them.

We had the set menu 3 course lunch menu excellent food and service. Good atmosphere and surroundings. Would defiantly choose this restaurant again. We booked online and they have a rewards system.

Food good as usual. Slightly disappointed with service, waiter slow seemed unable to multi task. Needs to be more aware of diners requirements just by observing when passing tables. Usually the waiting staff are very switched on!

The staff were friendly and helpful, the good wine, quick enough service, chicken was a little dry. Good coffee. Really enjoyable before the theatre. Thank you.

Staff were very attentive and food was great too. We got there a bit late and were in a rush, staff understood and rushed our food out despite the restaurant being very busy.

Cote used to be one of the best fail safe places for a good fillet steak.Sadly during our last 2 visits we have found the steak chewy and not the best quality.The staff are always lovely and the starter and deserts good.I hope they sort their steaks out soon!

This is a very spacious restaurant with a very good Sunday brunch menu. The service is very efficient from a very pleasant and friendly group of staff.

Very reasonable meal offer before 7 pm. Service charming and very efficient. The choice was good for each course and well presented. The things we ordered were very nicely cooked.

Enjoyed experience very much. Service very good. Food nice - haddock parmentier far too salty though, I thought. My companion didn't notice but her dish was noticeably different to mine. Hers was in a nice sauce and browned on top, mine lacked sauce and was rather dry, and was not browned, or barely, on top.

Smaller portions than I remember but still lovely food , been literally dozens of times and never disappointed with the quality. Looking forward to the next visit.

As always this venue was lively and the staff welcoming. The food is really good and I am only giving a score of 5 rather than 6 because I was a little disapppointed in my main course - my fault for choosing it. I should have stuck with one of my old favourites. I shall be back and look forward to it. We often go to Cote in Chichester too - also always a pleasure.

The Cote Lunchtime menu is good value for money and the service is excellent. The à la carte menu has some authentic French dishes including Cassoulet. Highly recommended

Food was great as was the attentiveness of staff. I have been to several Cote restaurants but this was my first visit to the Brighton branch and I was amazed at the location which was great!

Cote Brasserie - Brighton. Attentive service, good choice on the menu, excellent House Red and coffee was really good, all in all a good start to a night out at the Theatre Royal and it was not far to walk either. Highly recommended.

Arrived on Sunday evening and restaurant was very busy. However, we had booked and although early restaurant was more than happy to accommodate us. All the staff very very efficient and friendly and the food which was served very promptly was excellent.

Apart from slight booking issue - rewards programme assumed 2 people and couldn't seem to change it to 4 - everything was excellent. Perhaps there could be more scallops?!

Big fan of Côte's but felt ok this visit that the kitchen struggled. We were a table of 8 and all our main meals were served luke warm. Still had a lovely evening but have had better meals here previously.

Cote is generally excellent value for money, with a decidedly European ambience. However, it can be variable. Yesterday was a less-good day. Perhaps because it was lunch-time?
