Great lunch enjoyed by 7 of us, service very good and food excellent, we were not hurried and were left to enjoy our meal at our own pace, will definitely visit again very soon
The steak and frites is always spot on and I totally love the atmosphere of the old Art Deco music library. Great evening all round.
Cote Brighton is my fav of those that I have visited thus far. Starter (Charcuterie Board) and main (Lamb Rump) were excellent, dessert (Crème Brule) was average as wasn't set enough and too runny for my liking. Staff were attentive but as we were a group of 7 we were seated upstairs with other larger groups which seemed to make them a little busy at times. Still the staff were very charming as always. Another thumbs up and recommendation for Cote Brighton!
Location is good. Booking with Quandoo works smoothly. Friendly greeting on arrival, is followed by flawless service and range of carefully chosen food served unobtrusively but efficiently with personal service. Several visits, both lunchtime and evening show a consistently high standard at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended.
Perfect venue for a long overdue catch up with friends. Familiar but well chosen and tasty menu. Good atmosphere despite being busy. We're regulars but it's a well recommended venue !
Good service and a good menu choice. I would definitely recommend it and would go there again. It is a lovely historical buildings in a central location.
The meals are very good and excellent value The service is always very good I have never been disappoint The cream caramel is my favourite dessert
Great service and food. Never feel rushed. We eat here often. The fish soup starter is my favourite. Followed by the steak tartare. Two thumbs up.
Cote always has the most attentive and helpful waiting staff. The food is always fabulous and the Brighton Cote is in a lovely building. We always enjoy Cote.
As always, Cote Brighton serves an excellent menu and a great atmosphere in the beautiful old music library across from the Brighton Dome concert hall. The service is always good and the staff friendly and helpful.
We were looking forward to the Brighton Festival's evening concert of classical music which we booked months ago. The only place we felt would match the high quality of the performance was to start with equally good meal & drink in an elegant place, good service and pleasant atmosphere. The Cote Brasserie absolutely ticks all these boxes for us. We dine there regularly, whether it's a dinner or lunch, a family celebration or going out with friends. More than that, we find the same quality of food and service at this restaurant chain in other places we visit during a year, London, Farnham, Winchester, to name just a few. The online booking is quick and simple, the menu and all the latest additions such as May Specials can be browsed in advance. The staff is very well trained and very helpful. Thank you for looking after us.
Huge delay waiting for main course despite reminders. They knocked a chunk off the bill to compensate but overall this was a disappointing Cote visit.
As always my guests and I were delighted with the food, which never fails to be excellent. The staff should also be mentioned for their attention and charming manners. All in all another very successful visit
excellent food and great value lunchtime menu, restaurant was busy as usual. service staff were very polite and professional throughout. Good positive experience, will return
Beautiful building and room. Visited on a Sunday at 7pm and the ambience was great. Service was excellent and the food was beautifully cooked and served. Perfect for couples or families.
Fantastic food, and value for money. Waiters need to relax a bit. When they are rushing around, there is a feeling of hurry-ness. But overall a very satisfied, and we look forward to our next visit.
We had the usual wonderful meal at Cote in Brighton - the service is second to none, the atmosphere superb and the food sublime as always.
Great food, excellent service as always. My lamb rump was melt in the mouth, and the chantilly cream crepe - Happy Days! We'll be back again very soon
Polka dot guy on the door was fabulous, and the food was great. Olives were a bit wrinkly though, like they had been in the bath a bit too long.
Nice - nothing to complain about, nothing to get particularly excited about either. Food was good but not great. Lovely room. Pleasant service. I would come again.
Always consistant. Great value for money. Staff always friendly and welcoming. Great locations for theatre or cinema. Considering everything, a job very well done. Look forward to my next visit!
Staff were friendly and attentive and the food and drink selection and quality was great. The atmosphere and table setting was friendly and informal. Will definitely be coming back !
The cote Brasserie Brighton. Very friendly staff and great well cooked food. This has become my regular first choice pick of 'restaurants' in Brighton and Hove. My recommendation is make sure you leave space for a desert as the crumble is so good! If you fancy something a little different then why not do what I do; On a warm summers day I wake early in the morning skip breakfast to take a walk along the seafront. Weave through the lanes where the shops are setting up for the day. Then finish of at Côte where I take a morning seat in the window and enjoy crepes with fruit, ice cream and a fresh cup of coffee while watching Brighton wake up for the day. Maybe if you do I will see you there, so a good morning to you. But please leave a space for me in the window. Bx
We where going to see a show went here for dinner it was very good great choices staff where very friendly we will defiantly be going back
Had no faults with the food or service - the restaurant was just uncomfortably hot, the table near us complained and were given a fan so it was apparent with others, otherwise grear
Excellent service and good choice of seasonal dishes. Cannot fault Cote as one of the best value restaurants in Brighton. Would recommend to anyone wanting good value and great location.
Food was very average (only luke warm) restaurant was in a state of chaos- tables were a mess - not enough staff - waited to be seated
The food was great, friendly and professional staff, nice looking restaurant. Wasn't too busy but very noisy and we had to wait a long time for our food. Overall a good place and definitely coming back.
Superb food. Superb waiting staff. Though I later found out from friends that the service charge doesn't go straight to the staff, which is appalling. Please amend.
Great service, consistently get it right. Côte is the epitome of chain restaurants that know what the customer wants and delivers it without question. Always highly recommended
Plenty of choice on the menu with some interesting specials. Good quality fresh ingredients with generous portions. Pleasant atmosphere with a buzz but not too noisy with efficient and polite staff.
Not as good as usual service wise. Even though it wasn't crowded, they seemed a little light on staff that evening. Maybe as it was the night after the bank holiday....
The French mustad was far too HOT for our taste. Was more like English mustard! Next time I will order whole grain. Apart from that our meal was good.
Amazing food super service and realy cheap for what you get great time took my mum for her birthday and she is funny about service but she loved it
We had a very enjoyable late breakfast at Cote Brighton. There was an event with people dressed as Star Wars characters immediately opposite from our window seat which was a bonus. Service was perfect.
Fantastic place, great welcome, superb food although some parts of the mains order came late and we had to ask for them. Otherwise excellent waiter. Highly recommend, will definitely return. Beautiful building and setting.
Very good food. Exceptionally nice waitress who went out of her way to be helpful. Hope to go back soon. Stairs at entrance a bit difficult for disabled people
Breakfast very disappointing, icy cold smoked salmon, cold poached eggs and barely warm hollandaise sauce. Poor service although restaurant very quiet.Having eaten lunch and dinner many times here I would not return for breakfast.
We reserved and git table at window, lovely, service was attentive and quick. Food exellent, thanks! Had a 3 course lunch and felt very good after as well, which means all prepared well+
Excellent food and service, the restaurant was extremely busy the staff coped very well under the pressure making a very enjoyable evening with great food and a lovely atmosphere.
Greeted by a friendly memberof sfaff. We were given an excellent window corner table . Our waiter introduced themselves and welcomed us.Although the Resturant was full our Food and wine delivered correctly , timely and as per our order. Great atmosphere and a pleasurable experience.
Great location for the local entertainment. Very good menu and high quality food. Service is professional and fast. So always reliable for pre- theatre dining.
By 8pm main choice of Plaice had run out. Chose Haddock but more puy lentils than fish! Mentioned this to Waiter who agreed. Asparagus starter ok!
Enjoyable food and friendly service. Restaurant can get noisy and tables. Rey close together We regularly eat st Cote, which is fantastic value for money and always delicious.
My starter was very good but my main dish of Smoked haddock was not so good as the haddock was extrememly strong. The service was very good especially as the restaurant was really busy. My husband's meal was good. We love the atmosphere of the restaurant and generally the food is very good too.
All good value and service and always busy So best to make a reservation Even though upstairs is now open can fill up Especially now during the festival
Really busy when we arrived but we were totally looked after and the food was fab. Nice buzzy atmosphere, attentive staff and a proper restaurant feel.
Lovely building, great location opposite the Corn Exchange, choice of menu for everyone, even Grandma was happy, as were the 9 year olds on a busy Children's Parade day in Brighton. Pea and bean risotto on the kids menu and proper home made chicken goujons make a thoroughly welcome change. Why can't more places do a decent kids menu like this? And my steak tartare was well seasoned plus the usual extra Tabasco, Worcestershire Sauce and pepper for me to do my own thing. We'll be back en famille.
Excellent meal and really nice staff who were happy to go the extra mile. Would recommend to all my friends and family. Overall excellent experience!!!
The experience of the visit could not have been better. The food and the service was the best I have had for a long long time. Worth every penny and enjoyed the wine reward as well. 10 out of 10 from us.
