After reading the reviews we were expecting something great but we really were blown way by the quality of both the service and the food. Lovely, friendly, happy staff - couldn’t fault them! We had the Greedy cows which was perfect, along with the nicest sweet potato mash and garlic mushrooms I have ever encountered. Nutella cheesecake, absolutely no words for it, just divine. Can’t wait to return, and will be bringing anyone who consents to come along with us. Oh, and free shots as it was my partners birthday - such a sweet touch and went down a treat. Thank you so much for a great night!

An amazing experience- friendly & cheerful staff together with the most delicious food in quirky surroundings makes eating at the Cowshed a delight! Highly recommend dining here - personally, as a sometime non meat eater, the cauliflower steak was very flavoursome (although I did try a morsel of each steak from The Greedy Cow and these were mouth watering!). A special mention also to all staff members for making our daughter’s graduation meal extra special, much appreciated, thank you.

Lovely place for a steak. Really welcoming and helpful staff.

Great quirky restaurant, fantastic steaks- the Greedy Cow was great to share and you don’t need anything more than the 2 side dishes and 2 sauces. Sarah our waitress was fantastic. One little downside there was a table of 8 men who were extremely noisy and as the room was small it was difficult to hear the waitress, however she dealt with them calmly and politely. Book in advance to guarantee a table.

Cowshed is a really intimate dining experience with a limited number of tables and a limited (but perfected!) menu. The quality of the steak was incredible, the portions were well sized and the sides were delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and cocktails and would definitely dine there again!

Chanced on the Cowshed on an overnight stay in Liverpool, while cycling the Trans Pennine Way. Friendly welcoming staff and a delicious meal.
