Cowshed i s one of my favourite restaurants in Liverpool. You have to eat meat of course :) But if you love meat and would like to have dinner in nice/cosy and not so noisy place, this is the place to be. You probably should book in advince since its nearly always busy.

Excellent food and overall fantastic dining experience. Staff were very attentive as well so a big pat on the back for them. Totally recommend the Greedy cow for fantastic value to share also the starter bites are gorgeous the croquettes & halloumi are lovely but maybe a couple more wouldn't go a miss in a starter portion size. Will definitely be back

Myself and my husband enjoyed a delicious meal for our 10 year wedding anniversary! Halloumi starter was delicious followed by Fillet steak, Pepper sauce and a side of fries and mushrooms. Both puddings of Nutella cheesecake and Bread & Butter Puddings were also lovely! Can’t wait to return. Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Amazing service, and out of this world food! Me and my partner dined here for his 30th Birthday, and it is without a doubt the best steaks we’ve ever had! As a restaurant manager and a head chef we can be tough customers with high expectations, but this place exceeded everything we expected and should be so proud of their staff and product!

I really enjoyed our meal at Cowshed. It's nice to eat steak at a small eatery off the beaten track. The sides were really well seasoned - we both had the rib eye, it had a lovely taste. The only thing I would change is the thickness of the cut, it was on the thinner side for my preference. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Steaks are the best I've ever had been twice now and both times have been very good for service and food 👍🏻

We were not advised on booking that the table was only for 2 hours, nor were we advised on being seated. At the end of the meal we were asked if we would like another bottle of wine which we declined. Instead asking to see the cocktail menu. No one came back to take a drinks or desert order and we were later told we needed to leave as the 2 hours was up. This was extremely disappointing service. The steak was beautiful and tasty but I would not return again.
