Such interesting and tasty food served by such friendly and knowledgeable waitresses with a great wine list as well. Second time there since moving down and am sure this will become a real regular visit for me.

Starters were both well presented and enjoyable. They were followed by Wagyu burgers which we requested be cooked medium rare. Sadly they came out more like medium to well done, which is an insult to genuine Wagyu beef!

Service was, amongst the three staff members to our table, excellent (especially for their age...); crockery was pleasingly special, to which thought and some cost had clearly been given; the food for all three of us was excellent in taste and presentation. BUT even without the raucous table of four across the room, the noise was dreadful: surely some sound baffling can and should be undertaken, as the aural disturbances were grave, distracting, and disrespectful for the food and service.

Great food, had the roast of the day (lamb) and was excellent. Very friendly staff, great decoration and atmosphere. Will definitely visit again very soon.

We had a lovely lunch, everybody was so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend this as a venue to go to. Will be visiting again.

Such a wonderful restaurant.. Amazing food, wonderful wine and the service is second none! We also came away having purchased 6 bottles of the recommended wine, which was delivered directly to us.. Our new favorite place!

We went for Sunday lunch with our friends. The meal was outstanding as was the service and atmosphere. Everything served was hot and tasty. Excellent wine too.

This is probably the friendliest, happiest and best quality place to eat in the south coast. Just don’t tell anyone. Because the food is amazing......

Good food, good atmosphere. Good service although 3 scoops of ice cream took 10-15 minutes to arrive. But we didnt mind, they were busy understandably. Another anniversary dinner well spent.

We have been to Cru many times always a great atmosphere and great food. Huge choice of wine and very helpful in choosing a wine if your not sure ;).

Served by the very funny Sophie who joined in the banter. Lush Sunday roast with truffle cauliflower cheese - yum! Generous cheeseboard for dessert. Highly recommended!!

Very romantic setting as we went for our aniversary. The food was absolutely lovely and great choice of wine. I could easily hear what the other person was saying. Some places I find that quite hard. I highly recommend and I loved the decorations. Honestly 6/6 rating

Too marks!!! We had an amazing time and want to thank the wonderful staff at Cru for pullling out all the stops when it came to my wife’s dietary requirements. Spoilt for choice, awesome food, great atmosphere and can not recommend this place more if I tried. We have definitely found our new favourite and will be visiting again!! Thank you.

As usual everything- service,wine and food- was very good. There was a New menu - interesting food combinations and all great quality. Drank wine by the glass this visit. All were excellent. Enjoyable evening.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Two of us eating. We had the Chicken and Beef roast. Plenty of fresh veg, roasties, yorkies and lashings of gravy. Had a bottle of the Malbec, great wine for a very reasonable price. All staff very friendly and informative. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys.
