Cru Eastbourne

Excellent service from the very pleasant staff. First class and helpful advice about wine, on being unable to buy my choice by the glass, a very acceptable alternative was suggested. Lovely food. Portions on the ‘small plates’ menu were just right.

This small quirky restaurant provides delicious food prepared with care and served by natural and friendly staff. It was a shame that the same attention wasn't paid to the music playing which did nothing to enhance the experience.

Everything we could have wanted, excellent and efficient but not too fast service and knowledge of the wines, stunning food and a great atmosphere. We will be returning.

Really impressed by everything about this hidden little gem! Top quality food, amazing wine, welcoming yet intimate atmosphere and extremely attentive staff. Recommend 100% and we will certainly be back soon!

We really enjoyed our evening at Cru, they have a selection of Great food, the service was just fab and the large selection of wines brilliant.

Excellent quality of the food and wines, good service, just a bit too crowded and noisy. Wish small tables and standard chairs were available also for couples, not only for big groups.

Busy Saturday evening but service was prompt, staff pleasant and food excellent. My Wife had two starters, first shasimi and then the second, linguini, as her main course. Both very tasty and quite sufficient.

Amazing small place with an enjoyable atmosphere where you can have good and tasty food together with a great variety of wine from the world.

Quite apprehensive because it was our first time to eat at Cru to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. And glad we did, wine was good, foods were excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Friendly staff too. It was a lovely evening. Thanks Cru

Greeted by Hardey and Jordan with a lovely welcome. We arrived early and our table was not quite ready. We were offered an alternative table and opportunity to have a drink at the bar whilst we viewed the comprehensive and eclectic wine list. Friend requested a vodka and Diet Coke. Hardey was great at providing useful and in-depth information on the range of vodkas available. Hardey was also able to personalise our conversation to the last time I visited Cru. Food was fantastic especially the Tom Yum Short Rib (I am still telling all my friends about it!). Brilliant service especially in a very busy restaurant. Thank you Hardey and Jordan

A lively place, main courses were excellent, charcuterie board for two way overpriced. We mentioned this to the manager. Also , ordered a 2011 bottle of Amarone and got a 2013 , something we didn't notice until after we started drinking it, perfectly okay but do not advertise one thing and serve another.
