A group of 6 enjoyed Fabulous food all ordering 3 courses. Mains of fillet steak. CUT Steakhouse has a lovely atmosphere in a stylish environment. Excellent service
We had a nice time with family visiting from Inverness but were disappointed when they did not have some of the items we ordered from the a la carte menu. Been a couple of times before and will definitely come back.
Lovely food and really nice venue, bit pricey for what you get - prawn starters are amazing - we all had steaks and sadly, we all agreed they were average. Service was fairly attentive and not overly so, however little ambience in the restaurant of Cut Bothwell, it would be much more enjoyable if there was more of the atmosphere similar to the bar area.
Once again, great service from friendly staff, delicious fresh food & good atmosphere. Definitely highly recommend, great menu choices, varied wine list and reasonable prices.
Excellent food, chateaubriand was amazing, service and staff are always great, fab cocktails, never had a bad night in cut! Will be back very soon!
Not great. Waited a long time and food wasn’t warm, had to ask how long food would be. Definitely will not be back and won’t recommend to others.
The whole experience was excellent from the staff to the food I had the chateaubriand shared with my wife for her birthday dinner it was the best we've had would defo recommend it's excellent.
Was a great meal...I got the market menu, which is great...the only bad thing is the £6 for a wee jug of peppercorn sauce...and we had to wait a while for our mains
We enjoyed a really nice lunch menu, all items were excellent: Soup, Rump Steak and Sticky Toffee pud. Great service as well. What's not to like?!
Food on the market menu was decent although £6 supplement for the steak (it’s a steak house?) was a bit steep. The desert was cold but quickly changed for a warmer one which was appreciated but the overall service was slow. They did have a large party in so this may be the reasons
Nice decor in this restaurant which until recently was an Indian Restaurant. Food was very good and nicely presented however the service was not what it should be. We didn’t have an allocated waitress which resulted in us being asked twice if we had ordered drinks, or ordered food. Also the front door of the building is open so it was chilly in the restaurant.
We had the Sunday set menu and the food was delicious, very reasonable the service was also excellent, definitely worth booking in advance as it gets busy and parking is slightly limited
Really sorry guys but the meal and the service was appalling can’t believe you made the children wait an hour and a half for their dinner!! Food and service not up to your usual standard :(
Very good dinner. Only gripe was the child meal mash potato was inedible due to salt content. Given it was a child’s meal this made it words. However, this was accepted by the waitress straight away, apologising and removed from the bill. So, dealt with how a customer would want and hence added to the experience.
The service was very slow our food was served to u approximately 1 hour after we arrived . There were no cut burgers left despite it only being 6pm on a Sunday night . My steak was luke warm . So it was very poor overall and we are not likely to venture back so disappointed . We did not make a fuss but did not tip and let the waiteress know why
Food was lovely and everyone enjoyed it however service was pretty slow for a Sunday evening. Car park layout is a bit awkward especially when busy.
Had the market menu - great choice & delicious food. I added a couple of sides from the main menu (MAC Cheese with truffle and Brocoli) - oh my word.......I’m actually drooling thinking about them!!!! Stunning decor surroundings and very attentive staff finished off a lovely evening. Highly recommend.
This is my fourth or fifth visit and it’s always Great service and amazing food. The kids menu is fantastic and the staff are always extremely accommodating for children. Look forward to my next visit.
Food was superb. I had haggis scotch egg which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious - I could have done without the turnip purée though. I had Côte de bœuf which again was perfectly cooked and delicious. Others in our party had prawn starters and oysters and then chateaubriand and all said they were amazing.
Me and my girlfriend arrived on sunday the 9/9/18 for dinner. We had the set menu as we felt it was great value for money. Both of us had the same and enjoyed all the courses, the roast was amazing. Will definitely re visit cut bothwell.
Really nice place but service was super slow (which would have been ok but with little ones it proved difficult!) and portions were on the small side. Decent enough though.
We had the 3 course Sunday menu and it was delicious- great value for money. Service was a little slow but there were a couple of bigger tables in at the same time. A girl did come and apologise for this (she was on the ball all night, I’m assuming she was the supervisor/manager but she seemed to be working harder than anyone else). The other staff members didn’t seem to know what was going on! Lovely venue and lovely food. Possibly the younger members of staff need more training.
Great staff, fab service, value for money, good menu choices & the best Sunday roast in Bothwell! Never had a bad meal here but this was the best yet!! Highly recommend.
Good parking, really pleasant staff and relaxing atmosphere. We both had steaks and sides and the food was amazing. We will visit this restaurant again.
Place is Amazing :) food was great and staff. Will defiantly be back. Reasonable price and menu has a lot of option to choose from
The food was lovely, me personally thought it was slightly overpriced for the steaks. 1 waiter to our table of 9, I thought was a bit much when it came to the food was being served & the room was to dark for my liking. But I can't fault my meal it was really nice, the waiters were friendly and nice.
Very comfortable surroundings, with great food , great service and fabulous drinks. Staff were very attentive and catered needs well. Extremely enjoyable experience and we will definitely return
Amazing food, the best steak I have every had, would highly recommend, staff were great and the place is lovely, great atmosphere and location. I will be back soon!
lovely restaurant, good vibe. manager accommodating and quickly fixed a small issue and was more than helpful. staff could have been slightly more attentive but overall nice experience
Gorgeous building, amazing interior & the food was delicious. Staff were very nice & friendly also. Couldn't fit in a dessert but will try next time.
Very expensive for very mediocre food. Starters were appallingly small. No complaints with waiting staff, and atmosphere is good. Lovely seating area outside but the main reason for dining is the food and that is lacking. To be called ‘Cut’ we were expecting very good steak, it was fine, cooked to our liking but we’ve had so much better in many different restaurants who don’t claim to be specialists. Disappointing
Sunday lunch menu was very good and reasonable at £15 for 2 courses. Mushroom arancini was delicious and fish and chips very good, chips a bit too chunky for me but all cooked very well.
Great food & service even though restaurant was busy. Market menu was amazing value as was kids menu. Delicious cocktails on offer. Fun night out!
Lovely wedding lunch great food and the staff were so friendly I would highly recommend this place ❤️ Reasonably priced too. We will definitely be back.
Lovely food and great value for money. Staff were helpful and quick with our orders. Only ask is for cleaner high chairs, we had to give it wipe down as it was a bit grubby.
On a recommendation we booked for dinner which was very easy to do. Beautiful , relaxed atmosphere. Food amazing and service too. We would definitely recommend a visit
Great steak, lovely restaurant and friendly staff. We shared the porterhouse cooked medium rare which was cooked to perfection and delicious. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to return.
What a fantastic Meal and surroundings we will definitely be back. The T Bone steak one of the best I’ve had and the Mac Cheese was to die for. Brilliant
One if the best steaks I have tried. Would definitely recommend. Even the cocktails are amazing will be returning very soon! Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly staff.
Food is very good and priced competitively with similar restaurants in near by Glasgow. Great choice of food and drink. Restaraunt and bar are lovely with a a very good atmosphere. Only draw back was a delay from the kitchen, which he had been advised of by friends who had visited recently. I think we waited 1 and a half hours for meals to come, most restraurants would be looking for their table back shortly after that wait. However waiting staff and manager were very helpful and we were given a free round of drinks to compensate. Feels like the kitchen can’t cope with a menu which although had a good choice of foods, didn’t feel like it should overwhelm a kitchen. To summarise if you are willing to wait, then you will be rewarded with very tasty food.
Great food for the money...the market menu is fantastic..the only gripe is the £6 for the peppercorn sauce, but still, overall the meal is worth the money
Really tasty starters and mains, mash lacked a little seasoning but all in very pleasant experience and services was very efficient - we will be back
Food was mediocre. Presentation awful. The small metal tins for side dishes look like left over steak pie tins. Chateaubriand was NOT worth the money. Came sliced I believe to hide the fact it wasn’t 16oz - one for trading standards I think.
The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. I was disappointed with the starter. Scallops were quite small and the dish needed more flavour. Was a bit disappointed with the wine too.
Went for the Sunday lunch. We had a starter of Arancini and the Roast Sirloin of Beef lunch with 2 juices and 2 latte coffees, bill came to £34, not too bad if it was worth it. My daughter found a thin piece of plastic in the Arancini, mentioned it to the waiter and he did say he would notify the chef. This immediately put us both off eating anymore and very wary of the next course. The roast beef was nice tasting but very cold, also the mashed potatoes were cold, roast potatoes warm and large Yorkshire pudding with small serving of gravy, veg also cold. This was our first time at Cut and had previously been to the establishment when if was Indian Manor, which we did enjoy. Younger staff quite pleasant but not sure if it was manager or owner could have been more pleasant with maybe a smile or two. We wanted to try this before we went as a group for a steak meal but with the service and meal we will certainly not be trying it ever again.
The food was excellent absolutely no complaints, it was great value for money and would definitely recommend this restaurant. The service was good with lovely surroundings.
Food was quite average on this visit. Which was disappointing. Will try again though as it may have been a blip. We had a burger and chips which was under par.
Table ready at the time booking. Nice surroundings. Good range of cuts available (as the name suggests). Very good service. Attentive professional staff. Great steaks, cooked as per requests. Bit pricey though.
lovely restaurant, decor very nice. Son had t-bone steak and enjoyed it although very expensive but I suppose that is what you pay for steaks. The rest of us ate from pre-theatre menu and enjoyed the food. Will come back I am sure.
Oysters too start were great and porterhouse cooked too perfection.Woyid recommend.Only very small and only small point was it slightly slow at some points.Would go again
