It was a lovely meal, it was a beautiful night & we would’ve loved to have dined in the Fantastic Decking area, unfortunately, 5pm was the last outside serving but we still enjoyed our experience ☀️

Really enjoyed my 3rd visit to Cut. Starters ( mussels & soup) were beautiful. Steak & chips for mains were absolutely cooked to perfection. No room for dessert. My wife loved her 2 raspberry cocktails. Not Restuarant to blame but too noisy due to 2 birthday tables. Little disappointing that we had to ask for the market menu. Not everyone can afford the a la carte. Overall a lovely experience, beautiful decor & will return.

We were celebrating my daughter finishing university, the service from when we were seated and throughout our meal was fantastic. Our waitress Olivia was amazing, really lovely girl. She was very attentive, polite and humorous. The food was fantastic and cooked to perfection. Best onion rings we’ve had in a long time and the cheesecake was to die for. We will definitely be back.

First visit to cut was recommended by my daughter the food was lovely but don’t think the scallops starter was worth £12 steaks were perfection and the onion rings were the best I’ve tasted looking forward to my next visit .

Booked a table for 8.45pm, arrived a little early and was asked to take a seat in the bar which was more than ok as we were early! We were still waiting to be taken to our table at 9.15pm, despite their being tables free when we entered the restaurant, this was our first time here and not the service/waiting time I had expected. In saying this, the food was lovely we got a starter and main each and I would definitely be back as it had a really nice atmosphere and food was delicious!

Came in to celebrate our anniversary and have a nice steak diner and thinking I was coming to an up market restaurant but was disappointed. No drinks menu given only food menu, thought would be table covers, only pPer napkins and then had to ask for steak knives which were not very sharp. Waited 15 mins after we ordered our drink it. Did ask when we arrived if the room we were out in was the only eating room as it was like a pub room with loads of noise and not the least bit relaxing but was told all rooms were the same. I agree it was Easter Sunday but as I said u thought I was coming to an upmarket restaurant. Food was ok but fir main meal and 1 glass of wine and an iron bru with total cost if £75 I am sure we could have and have had a much better dining experience fir that money. Also nit enough staff on.

Service for drinks took a while, did come to tell us they were settling another company and apologised. Not until drinks had been delivered then the food order taken. Food was lovely. Unfortunately the ladies toilets were covered in loo roll which was nothing to do with the restaurant but all to do with some patrons, I did in fact lift some of it. Hint to management, keep check on the ladies loo, again fault of the customer but not nice for the rest of us to go into a messy ladies room.

Excellent market menu. Just a shame they changed the 1860 menu to bar and deck only. But still good.

Ordered a medium and a medium well done steak got a medium then a medium rare we were then told that’s what we asked for which we didn’t no offer to re cook waiter was attitude wasn't the best either won’t be back

the dining experience was great with good service in pleasant modern surroundings. we pushed the boat out with cocktails, wine, seafood and steaks. all excellent ingredients and cooked very well. the desserts were a sinfully indulgent end to the meal.

Service was chaotic, orders were mixed up. I was unable to have the starter I initially picked even after dicsussing it with the waiter, in haste ordered the fried broccoli which was a small dish of burnt broccoli. Main that I had chosen had sold out. Risotto was made, which was nice. The 5 other diners with me all felt that their meal was over all "ok"

Great staff, food was very good. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was very busy and our drinks were complimentary to make amends.

Quality service & quality ribeye. Tried the beef gravy sauce with my steak & that alone is worth another visit.

Steaks are excellent, and service is very good as well
