Very good food and excellent service. (I could have done without the background music; but it was not as a loud as in many restaurants these days).

Booked this restaurant for my birthday. 9 of us dined downstairs and had a very good meal with great service. Our waitress and her assistant (in training) were very attentive. The food was delicious, particularly the Burrata and all pasta dishes. Looking forward to returning

A great authentic Italian restaurant, tucked away on a quiet little street. Lovely friendly atmosphere and staff. Delicious food with a good range of vegetarian options. Also have gluten free pasta and will even prepare a pasta dish on request if you don't see what you like. Easy walking distance of the West End so great for pre-theatre dining. Prices pretty standard for London. A real gem, definitely be going back.

Very welcoming, great service with lovely food. So much to choose from will go back again to try other dishes! Remember to book though as a small intimate restaurant.

Food and drinks were delicious. We were placed on the basement table and felt like no one remembered to check on us and we were waiting long time to be served.

Fantastic food, good service in a lovely rustic Italian Restaurant. Just what we were looking for instead of a big chain restaurant. Would go back

Delicious food, very friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff. Was there for a business dinner and sat in the basement. It was possible to have conversations despite the restaurant being full.

Staff is welcoming and the food is yummy too. However, I find the taste of the white wine is a bit blend. But is is hided gem for the local.

Excellent food. Very large portions. Great ambience and atmosphere. A little gem in central London but don't go there if you don't want to hear the conversation at the next table as it is cramped but do go there for the food! We loved it. Try to get a table on the ground floor not in the basement.

Rather old fashioned. Food was reasonable but not very memorable. Felt like an Italian restaurant from the 1970s and food was slightly of that era.

The food is excellent and the decor is delightful. Prices are reasonable. Service is quite slow when it is busy but everything is freshly cooked. My one complaint is that I was not allowed to book a particular table on the ground floor, was made to go downstairs where I was told it was less noisy, and it became extremely noisy. Perhaps they are more accommodating early in the week. If not...

Good food slightly on the pricey side. Though servings were plentiful. Small restaurant. Would have been cozy but service was rather grouchy verging on the unpleasant. Probably wouldn't go back.

Overall we enjoyed the early evening meal after a visit to a theatre. One moan though, the fixed price menu on the back was just for 4 people but there was 8 of us. Spoke to the manager but was told it was the rules but couldn't explain why it was the rule. In reality the dishes could be ordered off the main menu and there wasn't much difference in the overall price. Shame that this slightly irritated us all. I would suggest you have a separate fixed price menu that you don't give to parties of grater than 4 to avoid this situation or preferably scrap this silly rule.

Went to Da Paolo to celebrate my 60th birthday. It is a small establishment but with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly and efficient staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced for London. Will definitely go there again when we next visit.

Fantastic'o!!! No need to look elsewhere the atmosphere is perfect the service second to none the "genuine" friendliness made us both feel like the restaurant was open just for us both. OH! yes and the food scored top' marks all round. My partner who has restaurant experience finished every plat that was bought with enthusiasm to our table. Which is a first as that is not always the case..............We will be looking to go back when next in London, as I said there is no need to think about looking elsewhere.

Fantastic, authentic Italian cuisine served delightfully. A great wine list to complement the food. Pleasantly located in the heart of Fitzrovia on a small pedestranized street, so It is quiet too. Highly recommended.
