We had a selection of extremely tasty dishes served by friendly, knowledgeable waiters.

Ordered the poussin at £14.95. Waiter did say there would be bones and basically that’s what it was - a malnourished baby chicken. On top of this had to pay £4.25 for a sauce and on top of this had to pay £3.25 for a portion of rice. A grand total of £22.45 for a one course disappointment.

Not in the comfort zone of pakora and chicken tikka, Dhakin challenges you to think about what you like. When the food arrives you are rewarded with new subtle flavours that remind of the wonders and joy of your first real Indian meal. Trust the waiters, they know what they are doing and will tailor your order to meet your preferences. But it’s not your usual info- pak experience. It’s so much better.

Food is excellent, very different from any Indian food we have had before. Service was good only down side was the noise and the restaurant felt very crowded as people had to squeeze by our table.

Brilliant, friendly staff. Able to adapt the heat of the dishes to suit, just ask 😊 The cheesecake was the only thing I would say if you’re a cheesecake lover to avoid, no biscuit base, just biscuit crumbs and not enough of them for my liking

Great service from the staff (we needed the disabled access lift and they were very helpful) and also placing our table near the lift was also appreciated. The food was amazing (as always) and my 6 year old nephew declared the paper dosa “the best bread in the world ever” and at the other end of the scale my mother in law (age protected!) said it was the best Indian meal she’s ever had. Thanks again for dealing with our requests (a table of 9 has a lot of requests!) and hopefully be back soon.

Been here many times and it never disappoints. Food is excellent and there's a wide choice. Love that it's gluten free so our son who has coeliac can join us without fear of any upsets. Staff are all friendly and very helpful. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

I have been to this restaurant several times as I am coeliac and do not have to worry about cross contamination in the kitchen. The Southern Indian menu is a delight. Everything is beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The service is excellent and the waiters polite and helpful. We took advantage of the half price mains served early evening Monday to Friday which is excellent value. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Overall very good experience. Food was not as we expected still it's good. When menu say food is spicy and extra hot then it should be like that. But it was very very mild but I guess it was as par Glasgow standard and tasty though we like to have indian hotness. Also we didn't knew that menu is completely gluten free so naan-roti is not available. Slightly expensive restaurant compare to other indian restaurant in Glasgow.

This was a fantastic restaurant. The food was amazing. I visited with two of my friends and we all agreed it was a different menu with lovely Indian breads that were very light and full of flavour. Main meals aside the rice was delicious with black mustard seeds giving a nice flavour and texture with I think it was lemon in one and coconut in the other rice. my main meal was lamb with ginger and other spices it was medium hot and very tasty. I will definitely be back with my partner.

Second visit to Dakhin. Took a couple of work colleagues who hadn't been there before and thought they would enjoy as it's not your run of the mill Indian restaurant as it specialises in South Indian cuisine. In a word: result! Nice, clean, spacious restaurant with efficient, friendly and courteous staff. Starters of spinach bhaji, fish and chicken accompanied by desiccated coconut, chutney and mint yogurt were delicious. I opted for a Sumundra Dosa for my main course - what a vision! It's a huge (but not heavy, it's very light) lentil and rice pancake filled with subtly spiced prawn and fish. Absolutely superb. A very successful evening, you can't go wrong with Dakhin.

A great south Indian Glasgow stalwart. The Masala Dosa is the best in Glasgow, a bit on the pricey side though. The menu is well developed. Food is fresh, full of flavour and the staff are always great.

The service was excellent. Sadly the food was not. We had high hopes having previously loved the food. We took visitors and were very let down. Our guests are very up on South Indian food, so we know what we are talking about. The food was lack lustre, none of the gorgeous Kerala flavours. Even the appam let us down. We won’t be returning.

The only place to have a curry in Glasgow! Another fabulous meal! The Pre theatre menu is fantastic value and can not be beaten for taste! Yum yum 😊
