So, if you’re heading for dinner at Deraliye Barnet, why not kick things off with a whole host of hot and cold mezes to share. We just can't get enough of the tender octopus chargrilled with a hint of lemon, oregano, garlic, red chilli flakes and vinegar; ripe black figs oven baked with Gorgonzola cheese and drizzled in honey and the chargrilled smokey aubergine and red kapya peppers with mince with a hint of garlic and dill. For the main event, tuck into dishes such as the slow-cooked lamb shank on a bed of roast potatoes and vegetables topped with a tangy tomato sauce and the fresh pan-seared scallops cooked in a garlic and tarragon butter with carrot, parsnip and sweet potato mash served with a squid ink sauce. Deraliye London really isn’t messing around with its incredible food offering, so reserve a table today and go see for yourself!
Food is lovely and the service was pretty good, but on a Saturday night it is incredibly noisy, so much so that the 3 of us had to shout at each other. Not the most relaxing of evenings - probably better mid week.
Exceptional service and fine dining in a wonderful setting. I had the scallops to begin with and my wife had the Halloumi. I then had the Iskender and my wife had the mixed grill. All dishes were exceptional. You can immediately tell the the difference in quality when fine cooking is implemented with wonderful ingredients. Looking forward to going again soon.
We’ve been going to Deraliye for a few years now and it is without a doubt our go-to place for Turkish cuisine. Great ambience, great service and even better food - as always!
