Diego's Southampton

Lunch time on a Monday, couldn't expect an amazing atmosphere, but food and service were perfect. Will come again.

We visited for my birthday, had all you can eat cheicken wings which were amazing. The service was also quick, I had a coconut margarita and it was delicious. Thank you :)

I have visited Diegos Southampton many times and love it! The food, staff and atmosphere are great. However, there are two things I would point out that are really irritating. Service on being seated is very prompt, however once you have placed the order, trying to get the waiting staff's attention for more drinks is a nightmare. Twice last night I had to get up and go to the bar and ask if we could have more drinks. The restaurant wasn't busy at 6:15pm when we arrived (we were there a couple of hours) , but it did get much busier. However, I have also been on very quiet lunch/evening visits and the service after orders is always the same - non existent! Also, trying to get the waiting staff's attention to provide the bill is a nightmare. On several occasions I am pretty sure I could have walked out without paying for our meal as nobody seemed to want to give eye contact to communicate with us to ask for the bill, never mind take payment. With the exception of last night every other time we have had to stand and wait at the bar for someone to appear and finalise the bill. Saying all that, it's a great restaurant with great food and lovely staff, but would be less frustrating if tweaks could be made to the service.

Service and food was great. Went for all you can eat chicken wings on a Wednesday. Only managed 15! 😂 was served by happy, speedy and friendly staff.

Service was ok but food was fantastic. Setting of restaurant was nice. Will definitely go again and try 1/2 chicken. Easy to find glad they had coke and not Pepsi.

Great food, worth the 40min wait. We would of had a sweet but ran out of time as going to theatre. Will go back but allow more time.

Excellent food and lovely place. The only thing was that we had to wait a while for our food to arrive, I guess because it was Valentine's Day. But other than that, we enjoyed it.

We booked in for our Valentines evening. Fantastic meal, great service from staff. will be back again! Thank you for a great night and a very tasty meal.

Great food and great service as always!! Went for the all you can eat wings on Wednesday and the standard never changes! Highly recommend Diego’s!!

Defiantly worth trying the ribs and chicken wings! All you can eat! My friend and I have been there a number of times. I recommend

the food was delicious. the service was excellent,too. however, we requested a table on the window and for the 2nd time this did not happen.

Not the best ribs I’ve had found them to dry and a little on the tough side. On the plus side the staff were lovely.

Another great meal. Thanks for looking after us again! We’ll be back soon.

Staff were friendly but food not as nice as our last visit unfortunately. The starters were nice but my chicken burger was not very tasty.

Great food, great service, great prices. I would definitely recommend eating here. The food is always delicious and perfectly cooked. We had the piri piri chicken with fries and a salad.

It pains me to say this as this is my most favourite restaurant in Southampton... but... service was really slow. Two of my friends and I went to Diego’s for food prior to the cinema with around an hour to eat and then get to West Quay. There was around 5 tables full of people so not at all packed but it appeared that orders from Deliveroo etc were taking priority over guests in the restaurant. It hasn’t put me off going there and will be there following Xmas with the boys, but, the owners need to switch this and look after customers in the restaurant rather than people who have ordered take away.

This place was a nice alternative to another chicken restaurant chain! The food was really good and there’s a good selection with vegetarian options as well.

Amazing food as always - the staff get full marks for putting up with my husbands banter - the shot glass full of Coca Cola last night was priceless when he asked for a small drink. Love this place, the food and the staff.

Good food, but service was quite slow in offering refills for 'all you can eat' wings. Servers were polite and food was good with a good atmosphere.

Visited on a Tuesday for unlimited wings. Great food and excellent value for money. Great service from friendly staff. Second visit to Diego’s and will certainly be returning. Would recommend!

Two of us had the All You Can Eat Ribs and they were delicious. I've had the same at Rancho's several times but these were nicer, not as fatty and had a tasty flame grilled taste. I opted for the spicy chili dressing which was perfect and had a strong Naga taste which I like. Only downside was the 45 minute wait to get served initially but once we did the ribs kept coming! Finally, our server was lovely, I did not catch her name but did remember she was from Estonia! Recommend this place.

Lovely food with lots to choose from on the menu, very helpful and attentive staff and reasonable price. Loved that you got to see the deserts presented before choosing. Will come again :)

Good food, good service and a fair price too. Had the football on in the back ground while enjoying the all you can eat wings. Will be back soon

The staff wasn’t happy not one of them looked like they wanted to be there and was well under staff and so slow getting the food out

I've done the all you can eat wing nights several times but this was my first time doing the ribs and they were amazing. My favourites were the BBQ Buffalo ones but all of the marinades were good.

I took my Wife here for our anniversary. Neither of us had been here before so we went by the reviews and score ratings which were very good. When we arrived, we were seated straight away and the staff were very attentive. We ordered our starter and main and did didn’t have to wait long at all for the starters to arrive. Then it went downhill. My Wife ordered the Fritto Misso which all tasted the same. I ordered the bbq & honey chicken wings which were very salty. When we finished the waitress took our plates and came directly back with the main leaving no time between courses. My Wife had the belly pork which were cheap cuts with no seasoning and very bland and very dry and over priced for what it was.I had the rude boy burger. The bottom of the bun was soggy so couldn’t pick it up. The bbq sauce was none existent. All in all I think this place is more about Chicken which is what most of the others had ordered.

Busy restaurant with a welcoming feel. Nice menu choice and not too expensive. Good selection of drinks as well. Wednesday is all you can eat chicken wings!

Delicious food and always great service. Unlimited chicken wings on a Tuesday and Wednesday is a must for any chicken lover. Very reasonably priced food and drinks

The food was lovely, the service friendly and efficient. My only problem, and it is my problem, is that music was too loud so I struggled to hear my friends’ conversations. I do wear hearing aids though.

Lovely restaurant and the staff is very helpful. Food was very good however we didn't get on the plate what we were expected from the menu. kids meals are big enough for them and they were happy about. Deserts left us a bit down as were far too sweet. Overall if i go back to Southampton I would go to Diego's again. It is worth to try!
