Would recommend, quick service, lovely set meal, reasonably priced for London!
All excellent but no access WC on the ground floor
Great service and amazing tasting foods as always - thanks
Fantasies food well worth a visit next time your in the city.
Excellent meal as per usual and the bar attached is also good.
The service was ok, the food is just lacking in the right flavours and it doesn’t warrant a good meal. Left hanging for more tastier food.
The curries were okay not that great, i had vegan thali.. rice were not moist enough
Really lovely meal, a couple of menu items served wrong but corrected immediately. Superb service
Fantastic food, reasonably priced, good choice on the menu and brilliant location. We shall be returning! 😊
Great food and service. portions were large and tasted great
Very good service. Tasty and well prepared and presented food. Have not been there for years and quality just as good as previous visits.
A quality restaurant with a very good, wide selection of dishes.
Lovely meal reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Great way to spend my birthday.
Excellent, Great food and good value for money. Will be back there soon!
Fantastic service, great quality and good value food. 10 / 10
Very good again. Would thoroughly recommend. Great food and service
I read mixed reviews before going, but was pleasantly surprised! While the atmosphere when we first arrived was quite quiet the decor was beautiful and it quickly began to fill up. The staff were a little overly attentive, but I'd rather this then have to chase them down to order! Lastly, the food was absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend the Thali. Overall, delicious & great value for money.
Been there going for many years to this restaurant when I’m in the area, and food has always been top quality, never been disappointed. 10 of us ate on Friday and no complaints the food was excellent, as usual. 👍
Nice food and service at reasonable prices and portions. Have been here a few times and very consistent quality each time. If you're in the area and looking for Indian I would recommend this place over the Brick Lane curry houses.
Despite the restaurant being fairly quiet when we arrived, having asked for poppadums and mushroom rice , neither arrived. We actually asked twice for the rice but it didn't appear, which meant that our of our party had to share with everyone else. Personally, I had the lamb shank and was quite disappointed, because it didn't fall off the bone; it was a bit indigestible. I hadn't been to you for a long time but we had people visiting London that I believed would enjoy the Dil Chad. However, I don't think I will be returning.
Very good meal, served in a traditional restaurant that still has all the history of years of city workers going there for their regular “curries”.
Really high standard for the price. Lamb chop starter was banging, fresh naan, good range of different dishes. I am sure i will be back regularly!
Very good menu and service More heat in the medium and hot dishes welcome And fresher side salad please! Top dish were both of the thali!
It is a lovely restaurant, nice food and friendly staff. I have been before and would usually give it 5 out of 5, but this time it was disappointing. We ordered a bottle of prosecco as it was a special occassion, the waiter had trouble opening it (at one point he took it away to the bar and was fiddling with it), he came back to our table, got it opened and it exploded, spilling half the bottle over our table and onto the floor. This was an accident and he apologised but instead of getting us another bottle he poured from that one, we mentioned that he had spilt half of it but he just smiled and ignored what we had said. When we got the bill we had been charged for a full bottle, we asked for a refund and he suggested a complimentary drink, in the end he gave us 10% discount. Very disappointing as it is usually a great restaurant.
My first visit since the restaurant reopened last May. Only one other table was occupied when we arrived but it still took 10 minutes till we were given a menu and were asked if we would like a drink. The service was irritatingly slow and surly throughout the meal. It would have been a 1 out of 6 if it had not been for the exceedingly good food. I had tandoori chicken (crispy sizzling and well flavoured) and chicken jalfrezi which couldn't be bettered. It was hot, tangy, and extremely well spiced. Mouthwatering!
