friendly and welcoming as per usual. Sunday roast was lovely, pudding was nice but nothing compares to the blueberry scone and lemon curd we had at our last visit. Server was polite however forgetful and it wasn’t overly busy when we were there. We visit regularly and haven’t ever had a poor meal

Fantastic food, fabulous drinks selection and amazing service- can't ask for more than that. The vegan roast was delicious a real treat, best roasties I've ever had!

The food was excellent, the music was great, the service was fast and friendly. Couldn't recommend this place more, definitely worth going here sometime. Definitely go if you're into vegan food.

Food was good as usual. However, no cauliflower five ways which was disappointing. Service was also slower than usual and we had to call someone over to take drinks orders and food orders plus the card machine was broken which meant scraping together enough cash to pay.

The food is always amazing and I always end up over ordering because there are so many delicious items to experience, but that's ok because I can take it to go an experience Down The Hatch for 2 days. Service is great too and the selection of drinks and cocktails are worth going for.

Great variety of vegetarian and vegan junk food dishes. Really hard to decide what to have! Food was so tasty seasoned really well. Everything tasted home made and freshly prepared nothing reheated. Service was great staff really helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Food was very good and staff extremely helpful and friendly. Found somewhere that my wife actually had problems choosing her meal because there was so much choice. I would definitely recommend everyone to try it

Tasty food, massive portions so great value for money! Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. As a vegan I love the variety on the menu, rather than being restricted to one or two options ( at best!) at other places.

Great affordable vegan food that tastes amazing. The staff are friendly. And drinks are priced fairly (not the cheapest I’ve seen but heyho the food makes up for it!

Amazing atmosphere and great food, the cauliflower 5 ways is superb and the blueberry muffins with home made curd is delicious, nice seating plan and great toilet facilities.

The food was amazing, so tasty and we were spoilt for choice. The staff were chatty, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Will definitely be back! And definitely recommend Down the Hatch!

Staff very friendly, first time visit and food was fantastic, never know vegetarian food could be so interesting, will definitely be visiting again and bringing more people!

Lovely restaurant, lovely food, and friendly staff, the only problem we had two items I ordered they had sold out of, my husband tried to order the draft beer after all the chat from the bar tender they run out of that too. Not really very good for a Sunday afternoon to run out of things. Better planning I think

Our 3rd visit and food is amazing every time! Menu is easier to understand now, prices are great and portion sizes are huge. Definitely recommend the salt and pepper seitan bits, onion rings and battered mushrooms but everything we ordered looked and tasted wonderful! We wish we lived closer but will definitely be back!

Never had anything but an amazing experience at DTH. The staff are lovely, the food is AMAZING, the prices are very fair! Cannot recommend it enough.

Down the hatch is our fave. All the staff are lovely and food is always beautiful :) never wanna go anywhere else. They chefs are very creative and always come up with the yummiest ideas, you'll wanna try everything on the menu ❣️

100% vegetarian, almost vegan restaurant. Hard to call it a restaurant - It's more a junk food undergriund experience. Not fancy but wonderful dark ambience atmosphere, with great drinks and amazing junk oil food. Vegans who wants to eat greasy delicious food would have a great time here. I recommend the Italian meatballs and the Kebab, but everything else I ordered was great. One small disappointed - they were out of beer on tap.

Food and service was excellent, the tender stem broccolipops with gravy were incredible - probably the best way I've ever had broccoli, and the vegan gravy was the best veggie gravy I or my partner have ever had. For my main I had the satan's back burger, which I asked for added cheese with and they certainly delivered - my burger came with a river of cheese flowing down the sides and tasted incredible - and at no extra cost! My partner had the don - a fully vegan seitan doner kebab - which he said was delicious as well. All the staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. We also really appreciated the restaurant's support of Liverpool Pride and knowing it was an LGBTQ+ safe venue. Would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for delicious meat-free options that aren't just health food!

Never disappointing. Always good variety on the menu dependent upon your taste. Good portion sizes and good selection of beer, which again, you don't have to worry about if it is vegan or not!

Excellent vegan junk food, super-friendly staff, great atmosphere and cool music. We've been about 10 times now and will continue to return. I'm sure meat eaters will love it too.

Only 4 tiny pieces of tofu in the salt and pepper tofu, did complain to the waitress still left on bill. The vegan fish and chips were great though

If you are looking for large portions of tasty seitan and the like, this is the place to try. Great bar too. Most of the menu is vegan with a few vegetarian dishes thrown into the mix.

This was my first visit to down the hatch. The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. The staff were just amazing. Everything was perfect. Couldn't fault it one little bit. We will definitely be going back.

Amazing! Been before and I’ll 100% be returning. The seitan zinger strips are to die for and the jackfruit hotdog blew me away (we split dishes). Amazing food and fantastic, quick service! Love the free toiletries and little notes of positivity in the bathroom too!!!

First visit to eat, throughly enjoyed the food - the Incredible Bulk is as big as it sounds. Really enjoyed all of the food, will be back.
