Very pleasant staff. Good food. Little more attention needs to go to the little things that mean a lot. (Plates need to be warm not cold, cutlery needs to be clean, with no residue from last persons use. . . .Saying that I'll will return. . . .

Lovely restaurant and the staff were excellent. We had a really good meal though had to leave some as we were so full. Love the way they present their giant nan breads (though didn't taste it). If I'm in Liverpool again, I'd certainly go back.

Food and service were fantastic and courteous respectively add in we got a free rose which was a nice touch for Valentine’s Day. Only downside is the proximity of the tables as it didn’t give much privacy from the tables either side.

Dined here before a concert at the Arena. Amazing food, best Indian in the city by far. Reasonably priced curries and drinks for location. Allow plenty of time to eat as gets extremely busy, it took nearly 50mins after asking for our main course for them to arrive.

Very busy due to concert on at Echo Arena. Service therefore was a bit slow. The menu seems to have been dumbed down since last time we visited, the food was ok but not exceptional.

Overpriced for the quality of food.. few tiny pieces of grizzly lamb in my rogan josh.. and charged for foods we did not order in starters. Very disappointed.

What we did have was fine ... poppadom & a few starters but I think they forgot our main, waiter apologised for the delay a few times but had to leave without it as we would have been late for the theatre.

The Food was fantastic as always, but the service wasn’t the best I’ve had. Long waits with no great customer service to make up for it.

Wonderful restaurant and staff. Beautiful setting and so welcoming and quick service before a show at the Echo Arena. However curry we’ve eaten for 30 years in many restaurants was overwhelmingly hot with spice at this restaurant that our mouths were burning so it wasn’t enjoyable and we had to leave most of it.

Relaxing atmosphere. Attentive service. Delicious food - some of the tastiest Indian food we have eaten. Went there as a party of 6 with a 10 month baby. Staff were accommodating and did not rush us. I must say that the food was of the highest quality - my Kofta curry was probably the best kofta curry I have had. My wife had the sea bass as she has to be careful about food that is too spicy - it was delicious. A bit pricey but worth it if you want a good dining experience.

Sorry I did love the food and experience here from past visits, but this was a disaster. Booked for 7:30 didn’t sit down till 8:10, queues at the bar for a drink for 20 minutes with inexperienced staff, food was edible but nothing special. Management were dismissive of problems, won’t be going back. 😞

Food, service and staff all first class. Very busy Saturday evening and the staff were on their game. The only reason I haven't scored it a 6 is because the toilets and doors to the toilet are black and they were very dirty. A great deal of greasy hand and fingers prints.

We were ignored while others who came after us were served. The waiter taking our order was distracted and behaved rather rudely. No hot towels were offered to us unlike the tables around us. Had to ask three times for the bill which had to be amended as it was wrong.

Was really disappointed this time, we have been here a lot of times and always have a great experience on Saturday we waited over 15 minutes for our table, the table was 2 tables together one circle and one square we felt like we were separated from some people in the group. We waited a while for our orders to be taken for food and drinks. Usually love coming here just wasn't the same this time

Average food taste but VERY expensive for what you get. Each item charged separately soon mounts up. 3 people with just poppadoms/dips and main course plus 2 cola and bottle of beer: £70 Don't think we'll be going again.

Not good. Booked table for 8pm Saturday for partners birthday meal. Arrived at 8pm, given buzzer told to sit and wait as table was just being set up. Waited 15 minutes, went to reception to ask what wait time was and was curtly told 'well, 15 minutes isn't much to wait is it, I mean we are busy.' Receptionist quite curt, said she was buzzing us now, buzzer wan't going but she said 'I'm about to buzz you now'. Not a warm welcome from this place, not a good first impression. She was very busy and seemed a little stressed. Was taken to seat, nice table by window. Found the atmosphere to be very loud as very busy, lots of children in there, lighting very bright, not the intimate, adult restaurant I expected. Table next to us had food brought over on a trolley that was so dirty, stains, bits of sauce and old food on it, very worrying and very unhygienic. Food arrived and I had lamb and chicken balti (they only do mixed baltis I did want just chicken). Some meat was gristly and some meat had hard bone in (I think it was bone), had to spit it out as couldn't eat it so didn't finish meal. Overall, a disappointing night out for my partners birthday, won't be going again, don't know what all the fuss is about with this place as we did not have a good experience at all and won't be returning.

Arrived to be told you have a 10 minute wait go to the bar and have a drink , 2 gin and tonics £18 !! Tables were overflowing with dirty glasses and empty wine bottles couldn’t sit our drinks down . After waiting 30 minutes I decided to ask when our table would be ready was told by the same girl 10 minutes so we thought ok waited another 20 minutes and then decided it wasn’t worth the wait . It was organised chaos they obviously try and pack as many people in as they can I can only assume the kitchen would be as disorganised as the restaurant. Would never return or recommend this restaurant to anyone
