El Pic Tapas Bar

El pics is lovely, the staff are great and the food is yummy. The food is however over priced for the portion sizes you receive, I know it’s tapas but for example we ordered jalapeño prawns for around £7 but only got 2 and the chorizio disk only had about 8 small discs of chorizo in it for around £6. It would also be nice if they expanded their menu a bit or had some specials it’s quite a limited menu. Also a set fiesta menu for couples for example would be great !

This was the first time we have visited this restaurant for 3 years and do not understand why. The food was delivered quickly and good value for money. We will not be leaving it another 3 years.

Service was really good but the prices were slightly too high for the portion sizes, even considering it’s a tapas bar, however despite this all the food was really good quality

It was our first outing following lockdown so we were unsure as to what to expect, but everything was just great. Everyone was happy, friendly and it was really nice to see people out and about again enjoying themselves. The service and the food was really good, couldn't fault it and it was really nice to see a small independent restaurant 'busy' again. We will definitely be returning.

This was the first time we had been out for a meal in 14 weeks due to the resttictions, and we felt very relaxed and safe and we were very happy with the measure the restaurant had out on place with taking our temperature before entry and a hand sanitation station before entry. The food was amazing and very tasty, service was amazing too, a very enjoyable and pleasant experience... we will be back for sure. Many thanks x

Overall a great experience, lovely staff, delicious food and excellent service. I would highly recommend El Pic to anyone that wants to enjoy traditional and authentic Spanish food, in a place that looks and feels like a typical Tapas bar. Can’t wait to go again :)

Food was pretty good. Atmosphere was great. Although there was 4 waiting staff and only 4 table per waiter the service wasnt amazing. Empty drinks for a while and always felt like we had to prompt for service. Would go back though

The place was cozy and very nice. Food, as being Spanish I think I take into account many more things. The food was good but I could feel some of the food is pre-heated for example: the tortilla de patatas looked quite greyish or some of the tapas will have chilli on it when we Spanish do not cook with chilli we use paprika. I think the price for some tapas are quite high thinking £5 for a mini tapa (when in Spain a tapa will be free or Max 2€) as is kind of an appetiser before your lunch/dinner. Overall we had a great experience as it was great testing some of the Spanish food and also listening to some south American music to be remember back home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to El Pic despite waiting an extra half an hour for our table to be ready which we had booked for 9.45. However, the lovely staff sat us at the bar, got us our drinks and asked us what starters we would like which they said were on the house to make up for the delay for the table! Would definitely recommend!
